Sometimes when I'm trying to create a grass confic, grass spawns all black on certain materials, even when the texture is bright green. I've tried all kinds of setting but nothing changes it; it's either all black or no grass at all. Anyone has a solution to this? I've tied to search here and there but no luck.
I had a similar issue when tweaking grass at Lago Maggiore. From memory I think the GrassFX was taking its colour from the underlying terrain texture, not from the grass DDS. No matter how much I tweaked the DDS the GrassFX stayed the same. I think i adjusted the terrain map below to solve it.
Hope that helps in some small way. Sorry it's a little vague, it was several bottles of scotch ago.

Do his hands still hold the wheel though after moving him backwards? IMO that's far more important than feet clipping through pedals, as his hands are right there in plain sight all the time.
I had a hell of a job coming up with the position I did as it had to be a compromise in a few areas. You're often trying to fit a square peg into a round hole when forcing a Kunos driver into a Turn 10 car. It'll rarely be perfect so you have to assign priorities (unless you properly adapt the driver model in 3D software or redo him from scratch).

Alright here it is took me long enough
BMW M3 GTR Street version by Patrick M edited by assettoland and reworked by Dragster666

Rework Changelog:
-Power fixed its now actually at 345 bhp its 346 in game i know!
-RPMS are now at 8000 unlike originally 9000 which would be unrealistic.
-Fixed F6 cameras
-New driver position along with new animations.
-Fixed fuel gauge now it works
-Turn signals reverse lights....
-Rain ready with wiper animations.
-Ambient Occlusion everywhere!
-Half A..., lod optimization the car will still be probably heavy. Need help on this.
-Data packed into data.acd the car should now be stable in MP.
Did not touch the physics because i have no clue how the car feels like nor is there a onboard video of the street car.
Enjoy! Next up gonna rework the 996 GT2 from scratch.
As always Patrick M if this rework hurts your mod or you please PM so i can remove it.

Hi. I was searching for the same track and i found it in another forum, it's a conversion from GP4. Here is the link they provided me with the track! : https://sharemods.com/ow108ya6k6p7/imola2001.zip.html . I tried it once, i don't know if it was a car related problem, but when the track loaded up the car was sunk in the pitlane asphalt :boggled:

I was thinking about something like this myself, but after going trough all the track's .kn5-files I haven't been able to find the overlapping materials. Legion's Indy 1960s and that old Mid-Ohio (VLM?) are examples of the tracks that have this issue... Well, gotta keep on trying. It's gonna be sweet when I find the solution. :D

IMO they look perfect when driving i didn't see any clipping issues. This also fixed the driver from clipping his arm into the dash when shifting,

What CSP are you using? because at a higher distance my car's body doesn't disappear when switching lods like that I'm using csp 1.60.

This now happens when steering but I guess it might only be noticeable in VR. I'll keep my original tweak I think, the slight pedal clipping isn't seen but the hand clipping through the steering wheel is quite obvious.
Forgot to mention, are the rear lights correct? They seem to be a combination of the older filament bulb layout (for tail lights) and the newer LED layout (for brake lights), but should probably be one or the other, not a combo of both.

I really appreciate your work, but work on physics, this car drives like a brick, no suspension work, no adhesion. I believe in you ....
Physics request done never looked into the suspension.ini it seems that the original car was literally flat as a tank lol. Now its bumpy like an road car should.
Old links are updated too just to know! This should be the last hotfix for now!

For People that are New to these forum I have do all the British GT 2020 GT4/GT3 skins which you can locate on RD under my resource list. These skins are for GUERILLA Mods GT4 pack and the GT3s are a mix of stock kunos / AGU modding AMG GT / URD EGT AMR/ ACC conversions.

Was it only suspension.ini that you changed? I'd like to add the new setup but keep my other driver tweaks. Cheers.

Go into the suspension.ini and change the SPRING_RATE value to 35000 both for the front and the rear it makes the car feel like an car and not like an abrams tank with its original value of 110000.

Update on the Genesis, I finished making shader changes and pbr. I also remade AO for body and hood, there is a little mapping mistake on the side skirts but hopefully not that much noticeable, I already updated all of the skins with new AO. About the steering wheel, yes, the central logo is mapped upside down and I personally put the OMP logo on all of the skins except the NVidia ones, I thought it looked more authentic, I hope it's not a problem.
I have now sent the updated car to MrBoo for creating a new template and possibly updating his GTS skins. Here are some pics, I hope the result looks good enough.

What happened to Nizar's stock E36 328i ? MEGA link is down for some reason.
Here's an updated version with some improvements:

B, C & D LODs added (by @__EASY__ )
Fixed colliders.ini and collider.kn5 (by @__EASY__ )
AI 'shift up' revs adjusted for proper active starts
Driver position adjusted for better posture/grip
New shifting animation added (reach is closer to gearknob from driver's perpective)
Driver hand/steering wheel synchronisation fixed

Ibarra... It needs a LOT of texture work done, is anyone still in contact with Terra to ask permission for an update or ask for an update? Seems like the trees are dofferent and for sure its missing the sattelite terrain textures or mapped wrong, colours wrong, something, not sure what? Looks very plain when run in AC again the RF2 and AMS2 versions. Also would be good to add in the travelling vehicles in the background as can be seen in the other two versions.

This might be th3e best track I have ever raced! (@Jimlloyd ?) @VheEth ?

I'm a huge fan of Ibarra as well, so any improved version would be awesome. Its one of the best tracks I've ever tried as well, especially in the F2004. One thing that might be awesome would be the old version that goes right round the lake.



Y'know what else deserves a nice update - East London. There are 2 unfinished versions for AC, and the better of the 2 is utterly amazing in modern F1 cars, but it has some kind of eye melting flourescent green texture palette

I am using 1.66 , yeah it just happen in a particular distance / LODs I guess, not all time having this defect. Thx !!

What CSP are you using? because at a higher distance my car's body doesn't disappear when switching lods like that I'm using csp 1.60.

Thank you! I noticed thought that the wipers do move, but don't clean the windshield?..
