Aye. Doesn't do anything. Happens to every single Kunos tracks as well so I'll re-verify for the second time this morning.

Edit : and now I'm stuck in validating hell on Steam. One of those mornings...
Peter Boese has colour readjustment files on Discord, i think. These colour adjustment are for all Kunos tracks. I think there's a link to that from his Sol manual/instructions.
 
the LTK even gave me the Discord link to share when I asked, he knew what I was doing.

on another note, seems I just need driver shift anim to release the Alfa v1.0
just a point, the retro illuminated dials may be a great addition as well, for night driving in particular.
 
Ah for ****s sake it doesn't work. Works on every other tracks (and thanks again for it mate), but once it's Highlands, Chang or any other track with these lines :
'TEXTURE = grass_fx/highlands.dds
TEXTURE_GRID = 8, 3'
The grass isn't there. There's something **** going on with the Highlands grass and I can't figure it out (and neither did the steam verification).

edit : Bugatti Circuit shares the same line yet there's visible, lush, green grass. Mmmh.

edit 2 : and we have grass ! Just had to bin some lines in the config files. Quick question : how do you make it grow 'bigger' ? Adjust the size value to 2 ?

This "TEXTURE = grass_fx/highlands.dds" is used in Mugello too, so it´s for sure not the reason for your issues. :)
You could search for a second ks_highlands.ini in ..\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\ and ..\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded\ and in track folder for a ..\extension\ext_config.ini
Just leave the one in ..\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded\ and rename or move away or delete the other ones.

I think the grass length isn´t the reason for your issues. In your first picture there is very long grass from grass_fx visible.

Maybe testing the color correction skins mentioned before from Peter Boese on discord can help?

Last thing you could, should try: enable these "seasonal adjustments" to test if the config works like intended. Leave date to your posted one in imo August.
There are 2 different places to en- or disable these seasonal stuff: "Track Adjustments" and "Weather Fx".
Also "If date is not set, use original sun trajectory" could interfere here. I have it disabled.

If the grass fx works well with seasonal stuff enabled, but not without, you could enable it just for these "problem" tracks and disable them afterwards?

Ah, a last thing. You could test a different Highlands version from https://www.assettodrive.net/other
They use maybe a different config, and they could probably be combined to get grass working correctly again for your settings, but that´s nothing I can do now without inspecting it in game, sorry. :(

An interesting thing, 2 weeks ago I played without problems with rain fx. Yesterday i had time again finally to drive a little and BAM... the wipers dont do anything (I mean they are moving but not wiping the rain away). I tried at least 20 cars, some i knew that worked...weird. Reinstalled csp latest preview, even tried an older one but nothing. Any ideas ?
 
In the meantime, the Kunos Ferrari 312/67 sound can do the trick, but it's true that the Alfa flat 12 engine had its own specific sound, less agressive than the Ferrari V12.
This is the moment where I wish I could release some sound mods for others games :D

Sorry, this interdiction is part of my NDA with Sector3 Studios. As much as I would like to share my own AC sounds, after 14 years in the studio (initially SimBin), I only want to be fair with my employer.

The positive point is that this modding work in AC helped me a lot for the GTR3 sounds development (but I'm totally off-topic here :P)

The AD Highlands had the same problem. Found a fix, but thanks for this anyway ! I've got grass without Seasonal Adj. - had to remove some lines in the config files. Problem solved now !
 
The Mirage GT1 is a customized Lamborghini Countach, so there's probably a quick way to add the rear wing and the proper wheels, then do the livery ;)

i found a major issue: the exhaust flames and fumes come out from the back panels instead of the exhaust tips.

consider fixing it, please

the Alfa 33 by Kunos has the real sound (mostly). I have now boosted the gear sound a bit.

on a side note, I have Zolder09 converted from the FREE RealTimeRacing (Henry Roos "Simbin"). Since it was free, the conversion should be allowed on RD, right?

I am still trying to find a suitable way to publish things like configs or skins etc. in the future, to stop such destructive behavior, by using something like a correct License?
Like this for example in config file or readme.txt:
LICENSE= https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ (not allowed locking it up behind a paywall, like PayPal or Patreon...)

Would be interesting to knew your opinions about it. :)

The only thing to do is to put, as some members wrote, the files in the "cmskins" folder even if the archive is originaly dedicated for the "acu_istanbulpark_osrw" track.

These two files were for the "acu_istanbulpark_osrw" version, they work perfectly for the track available here, don't forget to put the files manually in the correct folders.

I got three versions and I deleted two because the compilation brought to us by @Masscot with the help of some other members did the trick perfectly.

To whom it may concern, in the near future I will be uploading another AI update for ACU Istanbul Park. I've decided I don't quite like my AI line :sly: This will get started in a few days after I do some pedal maintenance. I'm kind of in limbo for AI lines until Thursday as I can't get it all done til then due to other obligations.

Recommendation for a decent Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions? Tried a bunch of tuned cars(mainly from Shotoko pack plus some from elsewhere) and most were surprisingly good...

Stock or tuned doesn't matter(ideally both), any generations...
