More car weirdness: the Porsche 930 SE Slantnose: five selectable forward gears, but fifth seems to be neutral.
Am I the only one actually driving these cars, lol?
Guess I'm late to the party regarding driving these :D, but yeah, wats with the 5th gear and neutral, has this been fixed yet?

I tried LC500 GT500 by@delpinsky recently and find it way slower than the URD JT5. I'm talking about 4.5 secs per lap in fuji speedway!
First of all, I just reworked the car aesthetically, adding wipers, internal glass and damage glass, if I'm not wrong. I didn't touch the physics. So you have to blame it on the original author of the car (conversion).

There was nothing to 'fix' as such, it turns out the car has two setups, a four-speed and a five-speed. The four-speed box is set as the default one, so you need to select the five-speed box in the 'gears' pre-race setup menu if that's the one you want.
But yeah, it was a little confusing on first driving it when you're expecting five gears and only having access to four. Might have been better if five was the default I guess, especially since it says '5 gears with h-shifter' when loading, creating the expectation.

I cant seem to get the Alfa 33TT instrument dials to light up.
What figure to use for a proper 70's headlight glow? (should be to the warm side. Current glow is new cold/blue and looks bad)

Istambul (the no ACU version), accepted the F1 2020 skin and is working fine.

thank you but if I do this the dimension is no longer the right with reality

I agree, but the tyre touch the ground, which is also part of simulating reality.:D
Joke aside, their is probably a better solution that allows for exact tire radius size and the tire touching the ground, but I do not know about it.
Have you tested to see if that change affects the car performance?

Hey guys, do you know where do I have to install the RainFX txt's?
Normally Extension folder, config, then tracks, then tracks loaded. Then your track will be in there. Open file then add text to bottom of other text leaving a couple of spaces underneath the original text. Save and close down and test. Other than that I have added to track direct in extension folder if it has one. If not I added an extension folder then paste the text in there. I hope this helps. I'm just learning myself.

Hi everyone! Has someone started working on improving the GRiD Algarve circuit that showed up here some time ago? Is it a good way to start working on simple mods if I try that? Thanks!

I want to give it a try, but I can only start modding again in 2 weeks time.

I believe the guy who originally posted that track was still working on it, so maybe send your work to him before forking out 3 different versions of that track.

Thanks man!!

Recommendation for a decent Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions? Tried a bunch of tuned cars(mainly from Shotoko pack plus some from elsewhere) and most were surprisingly good...

Stock or tuned doesn't matter(ideally both), any generations...

There was an Evo X FQ360 posted in here earlier, but personally I prefer the Evo X FQ-400 on AssettoDB with this physics rework. It doesn't feel perfect, but I drive an Evo X as a daily and it feels close enough that I can hop into this and immediately set good lap times.

It is, considering it's freely available on rF1 and these guys are trying to get everyone to donate to their converting scam, stuff that is already freely available shouldn't be monitised, I'm pretty sure that's called PLAGIARISM

IMO you cannot say that @easy belongs "these guys" you mentioned. He does a lot for GTP except a few conversions on special request.
