Hi!) In my opinion ACC better for racing GT. First of all a large community. Is the Weather better? The state of the track in the rain is fully simulated, not only visually. AI works fine, you can drive with bots). The game is more demanding on hardware, especially in VR. Is the car feel better? - I like the feeling of a car more in the AC. Аnyway you should try. Sorry for my english) - google translete lolQuestion to the group and those who own both AC and ACC and race in VR:
Is ACC worth it for GT racing if I have all the same cars and tracks in AC?
Is the racing AI better?
Is the Weather better?
Is the overall Graphics Better?
Is the car feel better?
I won't give up on AC of course as the variability is insane.
Just asking from a GT Racing perspective as I like to jump in and just do a few GT racers now and again compared to F1, vintage, GRP C etc etc etc on AC.
Actually, the Alfa 33 Stradale was powered by a 2.0l V8 (which they successfully enhanced for the 33/2 and 33/3 prototypes), so it sounds very different from the actual 33TT12 flat 12 engine.
Then, the Kunos 312/67 sound is still the closest thing we have in store for now...
re Alfa 33 sound
having just again tried both the 67 and 75 Kunos Ferrari's, well... they sound like crap.
The very first sound I tried was Ferrari from the F175 mod, also was not happy with it.
I can respect that 33SC video reference, but this sounds much closer to what the mod has now:
Unless we get a better sound, I think the Stradale 33 sounds work best for now
well, I said that I tried the 312T (75), its lame.u can try the ferrari 312t sound from kunos
sorry then, i understand you tried the sound from the 75 modwell, I said that I tried the 312T (75), its lame.
as wellsorry then, i understand you tried the sound from the 75 mod
The 917K is very close (being a flat-12 as well). In real life videos the 917K howls a bit more, the 12 cylinder Alfa seems to have a little more low end, but they are very comparable.as well![]()

Does anyone else find the graphics in AC to be better than ACC? My AC graphics look much better mostly maxed out, but still a ways off than ACC does completely maxed out. It seemed odd, but I find AC to look much better overall.
Yes to all that.
I don't know about that. I have ACC highest settings and I'm getting ~90 fps in 4k. (didn't need 4 3090's either lol)
AC can look good yes, but I was getting 60-70 fps because something isn't playing well with each other. And that's pretty much high on a few settings but there's only a hundred of them in CM so who knows. On top of that, some of the X-Wing fighter trees, stagnant cartoon crowds and shadows breaking plane with the track break the immersion among other things, like sounds missing or black objects appearing or whatever isn't working in CSP that particular day. It looks real good for it's age though when you get it straightened out. That's part of the problem though. It's always changing and it's this PP filter or that PP filter now or this doesn't work with that or now you have to reset SOL again. Get's to be a bit much but finding consistency is key.
I don't reshade or any of that though. On a LG CX 55" OLED until I go VR soon enough. How I get better framerate on ACC than AC is beyond me.
ACC is pretty consistent though. The dynamic track objects and people, more detailed textures, drying line on wet track, rolling starts and the biggest thing, you turn it on and it just works.
Will never meet the content desire AC fulfills though.
Isn't the Kunos 312T a closer fit being a flat 12 and all?

Today's update to acc will also add a new tyre model, which should improve the poor grip levels at low speeds. We'll see, momentarily this is the biggest problem with ACC, the grip inconsistency. In AC, for mods with quality tyre physics, the grip and slide feeling is amazing and very true to real life. IMO of course. It's one of the best features of AC. When you get to know the car, you know exactly how much it will slide and where its gonna loose traction. With ACC this is always a guessing game. Other than that, I love ACC, and I love AC. They fulfil 2 totally different needs for me. ACC is great for online racing and hotlaping, AC for custom championships, recreating historic events, cruising around tracks with street cars and geeky fiddling with physics and settings.I would argue that ACC's cars and tracks are mostly as good as Kunos' AC cars and tracks...but with ACC, you're limited to whatever cars and tracks Kunos deemed fit to offer (I mean, AC is six years old), whereas the aftermarket for AC is virtually unlimited: thousands of cars, hundreds of tracks; some better (and more varied) than anything Kunos has ever even dreamed of offering (cars from RSS, VRC, URD; anything from LilSki or Fat Alfie; Ilja's incredible universe). As to the AC cars' 'feel,' it's been all over the lot. Some better, some worse; several terrible. ACC's cars all feel (at least to me) like balsawood tires on #100 sandpaper. ACC's strength is in its complexity' AC's is in its simplicity. To each his own.
If at all possible, could we please refrain from comparing SIM y to x to z, in this thread, it is not what we are here for, if you could be so kind to pursue those discussions in an other thread it would be much appreciated.
