if you want to change the colored daylight, in the skins folder is a ext_config file. open it and change folowing lines:
COLOR=40,40,40
OFF_COLOR=20,20,20
ANIMATIONS:

-Clusterchange from S to S+ (ingame attached to ExtraA)
-Blinkerstalk L+R
-brake pedal,gas pedal + Driverfeet (only test, need to fix Driver animation)
-door L+R, Trunk (including Pistons)
-Hood (ingame attached to ExtraC, including Pistons)
-Mirrors folding in (attached to Gear N)
-Wing 1 (attached by speed, including Pistons)
-Wing 2 (attached to brake, will fix that, real life is manually in pitstop)
-Wing 3 (Spoiler lip front, need to fix that, Attached to ExtraB)
-Wipers
-light switch (attached by lights on/off)
EXTRAS
-try the paintshop
-S Cluster and S+ cluster fully working same as LCD (over 300 objects needed, low pc may have problems)
-abaut 50 Digital Instruments working in all displays + LCD
-Steeringwheel displays working (ABS+TC)+(S and S+)
-Working TC on console (TC wheel will be animated and also working like lcd displays)
-Foglights (attached to ExtraD)
-wiper shake (by speed and wind)

-addaptive brake light (G_threshold 1.48)
-exhaust + Engine shake (by RPM)
-full Damage body + glass (textures are terrible, will be redone)
-dont know if i forgot something

KNOWN ISSUES:
-AO Mapping needs to be complete redone, some weird shadows on overlapping parts
-AO on wheels NOT done yet
-Driver animation
-front window has some weird shadows while driving (shadowcast?!?)
-Sound have problems with new flames!!! (you may change with the GT63s, same sound without pops and bangs)
-dont had the time to work with reallife data i got from Mercedes
-visuals and physics will get complete rework
-and and and.....
car is on about 34-38% done!!! Still working on it.

Anyone else finding the backfire sound a bit OTT and intrusive? I had to open the boot to see if Keith Moon's ghost was warming up back there.
(edit: known issue, I just read the blurb. Ditto with the windscreen not allowing direct light in)

I just noticed the Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic made its way to The Crew 2. Amazing-looking model, and it has RHD unlike the ancient TDU mod I linked a few pages ago. I'm not too fond of the single-glass windows, though. But still, woud love to have this in AC. Has any TC2 model been ripped into AC?

Just so happens another version was given to me to share from @pitsch83. He made a few visual tweaks to the signage, grass run off areas, and removed some of the weird spectators. Most noteworthy is the huge grandstand is gone, which I believe was fictitious anyway. However, it's now missing the grandstand as a whole, so there's that. However the layout is the same, bumps and all, so I added my ai files and also a vao patch.

Hi, I hope is not too late. I've just downloaded your Motorland Aragon track version. I was searching for some fix of the track due to some issues that I had with the fast_lane and pit_lane. You definitely solve it so, first of all, ¡THANK U! ¡You did a grat job with the track and the lightning! I read your .txt where you were asking for a file texture that was missing. Fortunately, I have the previous version of the track and also the missed texture, it is just an image of a lake. I don't know how to put it into the track so I'll try to attach the image here hoping you can finally solve it. If you had already done it before I post this, please let me know about how to download that new version and, ¡¡Thank you again!!

PD: The file is not actually a .zip, it's a .7z with its termination changed, which is practically the same but, if you have problem to open it, just extract it or let me know.

RainFX-SurfaceTest-Fonteny.jpg I did a few tests of the effects of RainFX and a few surface-> wet surface changes at Fonteny. The image shows the dry time at the top, then wet times, using an altered surfaces.ini (someone uploaded here, but there only applied to the Trackday/Tourist layout. I used the same WET/DRY surface.ini files from that on the normal Fonteny layout to get these times). These are all AI controlled cars (no need to introduce me as a variable).View attachment 979357
The first wet times were using SOL's Light Rain, with track set to OPTIMUM(100%). Next (3rd one down) is same SOL with AUTO(set by weather). Bottom is same SOL with track set to OLD (89%). The real take away for me is that you can get a pretty good change of surface traction by messing with surface.ini, or just by playing with track settings. And, that the two are additive. (changed surface.ini + Track setting in CM)
Just messing around with RainFX, and looking for sufficiently altered road traction to go with... (and DAMN! Love the RainFX! Whole new world...)

(I have a similar comparison of Nordschleife67 if anyone's interested.)

Thanks for you kind words and welcome to GTP.

Regarding Aragon, the version I uploaded was done by pitsch83, I did not have anything to do with the track itself, or it's visuals. Because I have no 3d skills, I only work on ai. Maybe one of the track conversion specialists could look at the track. The road surface could use smoothing, grandstands and other objects could use some work, and there is also the possibility of adding the other layouts. I think there is a lot of potential there.

Anyone?

Mid-Ohio has long been a favourite track of mine, with its elevation changes and great flow. I hope you enjoy.

Please note: the config doesn't have fancier details with stream point/stream edge values (for water streaming off buildings, etc). But when I learn how that works, I'll go back and update any configs I release without it.

Hey everyone, am I missing something or has no RainFX been created for "ks_monza66"? I absolutely love the 1966 version of Monza, it's one of my favorite tracks. I've looked all over for a RainFX file but couldn't find one anywhere for it... Is there someone perhaps working on one?

Nice layouts! Would be nice if we can see any of these completed.

Actually Ülkü Park & Körfez Circuit are in use real-life. But there's no mod about them. My hope is, someone maybe could make them.

It'll make a huge pop if they'll be made I'm sure of it. I wish I could've enough skills and experience to make them myself. I can add textures at best.
 
For anyone having issues with the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series (v0.73beta, min. CSP 1.67), such as gauges that don't work or other issues, note that it isn't my mod. If you have a Facebook account, you can report your issues--just be polite and respectful, and acknowledge that this is a really good mod. If you don't have a Facebook account, I can report the issue to the authors.

Also, when reporting issues, list the version of CSP you have installed. You can see CSP 1.67 is listed in the information. I am using 1.65, and everything's working. Updating and testing a newer version of CSP generally isn't an issue. I may occasionally try a newer version, but if there's major issues, it's easy to downgrade back to a version that works. After changing versions, it's usually a good idea to close and re-launch Content Manager.

Yeah it's because different material and naming, you can adjust the grip in the file surfaces.ini inside the aa_portland_final\chicane\data folder.

I wonder if this different surface on the chicane is what's triggering the RSR Live Timing app to disqualify every lap as you turn onto the chicane.

I don't think so because the line "IS_VALID_TRACK=1" states that the surface is drivable .

I will send you a private link to test if renaming works.

I think the track cut stuff was being too close to the apex of T1 with that kerb, thats most likely a track ai line thing. Will be good to see the updated track released, its miles ahead of the other versions

This morning (I live in France), I was on the "MSF Italian Modding Team" expecting nothing (because It only rests one guy) but who knows and... I saw his version of the "Cremona San Martino" track in beta version 0.3.
