Had a bit of fun with this one, also got ninja'd and someone else made one similar, but hey you can never have enough silly skins. So yeah get over to RD and grab this skin, and if you haven't got the Ape mod yet go get that too
Get the skin here https://www.racedepartment.com/down...osati-livery-for-the-pessio-garage-ape.39096/

I'm not sure how I missed @norms optimization, but wow, it's sooo much better. In looking "underneath the hood" of the ai, I noticed the fast lane looked like it was done by coasting around the track. It actually works pretty well as is, but from what I understand it could throw off fuel calculations for the ai (not mention there was no ideal_line.ai file in the data folder). This should improve the speed and consistency of the ai. Tested at 100% strength and aggression with Kunos GT3, and several of the RSS open wheel mods.

AI hint and pit lane for Kyalami 1967:
https://mega.nz/file/Sl41Ca7L#jcqBF3Yl47iuCsrlJElvjZiME4PiT0PssVLzFo_4teg

This is a small tweak- an ai hint for last corner, and smoother entry and exit for pit lane. This was done with the GPL 1967 mod in mind. Keep aggression level at 80% or below for this car/track combo.

AI for Spa 1966:

https://mega.nz/file/C54TXS5a#hN9Qdw_Q8TghgKiDDc2YQ8dABYhEEaDQnnVHSP_o2z0

Speaking of GPL 1967's, a member over at RD asked me to look at Spa 1966 for this car. It seems like a natural combination, but I'm having hard time taming this car on Spa 1966. The look ahead numbers in the car's ai.ini is quite aggressive, and at high speed, they tend to fly off the track. I literally almost had to write an ai hint for every corner. Reducing aggression did not help as much as I would have hoped, surprisingly, but at 80% I mostly was able to get them to stay on track. The only problem is the member thinks they are too slow now, although in my testing the the lap times were equal, if not a hair better with my reworked ai. So if anyone is a fan of this mod car, please test this out with this track, and let me know what you think. Detailed info would help, like problems with specific corners, etc. I've been pulling my hair out on this one... :banghead:

Original post updated with a link to @norms optimized version of Terra 21/patrikpats Baku 2019.

Rain FX Asia tour:

https://mega.nz/file/ro4mkajC#o6xKi-NdfdxabmjT--gs07tyPb9PwmlZhTNPepcQYSU

So I kind of went a little nuclear on the stream edges/points, especially at Macau, but I was interested in seeing what is possible. However, I think this kind of work is going to give me carpal tunnel syndrome, so I'm not sure if I'll do anymore, lol. You won't see 99% of it anyway until you get out of the car and have a look around.

Included are:
autopolis_katsuo (added on to the config that @shi and @CrisT86 put together, original is also included if you hate it).
india (Buddh International Circuit)
korea
macau
(using textures by ClimaxF1 at RD),
yongin (Everland, which I posted previously).
ddm_gts_tsukuba (added streams and more material from beeemo's config posted on Discord)

I created extension folders for the track folders, so it doesn't mess with other configs.

I'm thinking about uploading this pack to RD, so any feedback would be great. Adding all the streams did cost a few fps, but only a couple in the few tests that I did. YMMV.

Enjoy

Original post for rain fx updated with addition of ddm_gts_tsukuba

Enjoy

What track is that? O_O

Hello, please help me. I downloaded a car mod nissan 370z. But there is a rear spoiler and a front diffuser which i dont like, so use the 3dsimed to remove them. Then i click on plugin export save as fbx acii ( I try all the fbx formats) Also copy text maps include rgb control point and create ini. Then save it and load in kseditor, yes they are gone. But the problem is that when i save the car as a kn5 and load the game i got a black shimmering thing all of the map. I try a older version of csp, but its the same. There is a short video. . I am new to this site, sorry if the my post is not in the right place.Hopefully someone can help, cheers guys !

thanks for the reply,
how do i activate\enable Enhanced Physics ??

See below...

First, step through the menu.....SETTINGS / CONTENT MANAGER / DRIVE... In the Quickdrive section, bottom left, check the box that says "Allow to use patch car's data to activate extended physics".
Then, on the "Drive" menu screen, another check box should now be just under the driving aids section on the bottom left that says "Use extended physics (experimental)".
Please, someone correct me if I have left something out.

is there a game log or something for AC, where I can look for errors and stuff? I installed a couple of car mods earlier and I keep getting a black screen when I want to race. Additionally all my apps stay on screen even when I disable them, so they kind of blur together...

I have the latest public csp 0.1.71 and the latest public sol 2.0
I only noticed it today but i cant change the weather seasons anymore.I did numerous csp uninstall-reinstall,also tried sol alpha versions.uninstalled and reinstalled sol also numerous times and reset all sol and csp setting. But still no ability to change weather seasons as before..
Anyone have a clue?Is it a bug?

EDIT:Found it. CSP up until 0.1.69 works fine.Above that no season change.

Speaking about rain, on the other day I chosed a flood option to a race.
Eventually the track got flooded, right? Right.
So flooded that the race director, red flaged the race. Yes, I have an APP that has a simulated director, track stewards and emergency staff. :dopey:

Anyway, as the AI and me were there (flooded track), we decided to race, according the situation.
And so we did. Fortunately, that day, every pilots took their boats to the track, just because.

Just to be clear, this race director app is part of the joke, right? You got my attention to that hahahah.
I really dream of having at least full course yellow someday...

Ningbo International Circuit Reworked (free version)

The name of this track will be Yongcheng International Circuit 2020
COMING SOON ...

Fan of GT3, WTCC and WTCR, I like to create championships in Content Manager as realistic as possible.
Unfortunately we do not have this track registered in the official race calendars.
The track is in Raceroom but not for Assetto Corsa except a paid version in China at 60 euros !!!
However, there was a 2018 track base available for free on a Chinese website but very, very little known here. The problem is that it is outdated today with CSP + mod SOL. A lot of things are missing: no map, just 10 pits, no AI line, no grass, no skins, in short, very very basic
I decided to launch the Ningbo International Reworked Project for the GTPlanet forum.
So I contacted modders who are members of GTPlanet and who are already sharing their work here for free.
The project is currently in the BETA phase.
Members _EASY_, Dabaeda and kevink2 are working on this project which I hope you will like.
A big thank you to them already for the creations AI line, Pit box, grassFX, extension file, grass skin ......
I sent requests for the realization of the WTCR and Asian Blancpaint GT Series skins at first,
if you are interested in this please do not hesitate to contact me privately.
Thanks to you and good game in Assetto Corsa

... which is totally understandable.

In adopting, nursing and keeping this sort of "understanding", one should not be surprised at all when finding how hard it could make to separate the chaff from the wheat.

This should have being fairly predictable, in fact, giving its resemblance to a lot of other "understandings" people keep throughout life, just to find later how that in fact undermined their goals.

Here you go

Basic RainFX config for Surfers Paradise 2004 by (Rainmaker) with extra textures by (mike08)

This is once again very basic and can be improved upon I'm sure. Especially in additional streaming edge/point zones as I didn't go overboard with the streaming edges (lazy boy tactics :D)

Anyway, I hope it's of use

There is an existing config file in the extension/config/tracks/loaded folder add this to the bottom and save

Follow instructions in the original download overview page

Looking good, looking forward to this track!

Does anyone else get lag spikes when driving the Ape Proto? It makes my game freeze much more tha usual. And when the game freezes, the simulation continues in the background so it almost always means going off track unintentionally.

For cleaner thread, we should add a rating system to the posts that have download links. But only the members above certain level could vote (let's say a member gets over 100 likes in total)... that encryption disscussion is getting out of control and the actual contents on this thread getting lost.

Wow!! What a wonderful idea!! People are running too loose lately, with all this discussions and opinions.
Let's add more controls! Let's create more silos!
The good righteous people, let's permit the entitled only have their way.

Apologies if I seem to be posting a lot of these but getting a few requests
