Hello, guys. And girls. I wonder if there is any girl paying AC on this forum?
It's amazing, really. Spent dozens of hours on creating track and posting it for free you recieve just a little more thumbs up, then thumbs down when releasing car on patreon for few dollars. Come one, bottle of mineral water costs more!

Why i have started (Patreon)?
i have plans and already working on few things that requres third parties help (3d modellers) for car / track environments. I payed them. And Patreon is a great thing to have good guys who can support this projects and respect time spent.

And yes, i will release touring wtcc stcc pack for everyone soon, as a finished playable competitive pack in dry weather (not from rain fx point of view, because i dont think rain is good thing in AC, it's just visual stuff which is unnecessary in sim, until it will behave like a dynamic rain and water on the surface). Same will do with Group C when it's finished and well balanced to race.
Yes, lot of modders make it for free. So it's just absolutely the same! Moreover in a complete pack you can race with friends or with Ai and have real joy, comparing to collecting dozen of same class cars from different sites, but dont-kno-why having just absolutely different characteristics, and it's unplayable in most of cases.

support with patreon subscription yes for work from A to Z it's normal I understand that deserves a "salary" but to pay a patreon subscription to pay each month a subscription 9 euros for cars which are converted from other games, personally I do not disagree and I am not the only one to think so. I respect your work but I am free to think so. See if I come on your patreon I will pay 9 euros 1 month then I will pay another 9 euros the following month for the updates ...... at the end my mod will cost me how much 9x2 euros or 9x3 euros ... .. 18 euros 27 euros at the end !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .... it's more expensive than a DLC Assetto Corsa Competizione or DLC Rf2 which are official and made by professionals .... personally I would prefer to pay you 9 euros at the end when your mod is finished that's just my opinion
I share a lot of things on my website and I sometimes work 8 or 9 hours a day during my holidays but I don't ask for money because it's my passion and my hobby so maybe I'm wrong .... I also bought 2 webcams, a gopro hero, software and accessories to make Youtube videos of on-board camera gameplay but I do not charge my subscribers for what I bought ...

best thing is to not pay for these mods.
Virtua_LM clearly stated that its forbidden to charge money for it...

we all now it takes a lot of work to convert these cars, and iam glad that you are converting these group c cars to AC but still i and many others believe it should not be hidden behind the paywall, and until now you have not shared any mod for free ( the leaked ones dont count as it wasnt you ).

or maybe if you feel that your work should be payed than atleast adjust the price tag for it , 3 € for a basic membership is just to expensive if you consider the quality of the content.

That's probably the case, or you didn't have extended physics enabled with a proper RainFX config. Not my video, but this shows how strong the effects can be
How can I get CM to display the enhanced physics thing?
I have CM premium, I am on version 0.8.2245.37760 and have CSP 0.1.72-preview1 installed, but still I don't get the enhanced physics button.

I'll never understand why anyone would ever want to pay good money for bad mods when there are so many good mods available that don't cost a penny.
It defies all logic.
Have you tried it? Or other my works? Such as Cizeta, or Legacy BM. Even conversion of Group c, it's nat that bad, maybe it's even good.

I heard you guys, will change something on that project

like i said tony i really like your project , i love old group c cars.
its not that easy to convert them and so on , but ofcourse the quality isnt on par with free mods like @GzeroD and so on.
maybe you could learn a thing or two by sharing your mods for free and getting important feedback here , so you can improve for the next mods.

His group C mods (tonys) are great, feel good, look a bit rough but in a race its not so bad.

Regards being hard to convert cars, well do simdream and RTM not convert as well?
Are they not therefore worthy of remuneration?

It's for me, we either all call out anyone one who rips mods and sells them on whether through a stand alone fee or subscriptions (can can prove more expensive). Or we just stop singling out simdream and RTM whilst condoning the others... IMO.

They way we get back to simdream and RTM is finding their stuff for free....

Which in fairness what i have done with Tonys stuff... same same.

First, step through the menu.....SETTINGS / CONTENT MANAGER / DRIVE... In the Quickdrive section, bottom left, check the box that says "Allow to use patch car's data to activate extended physics".
Then, on the "Drive" menu screen, another check box should now be just under the driving aids section on the bottom left that says "Use extended physics (experimental)".
Please, someone correct me if I have left something out.

Thank you very much, worked perfectly, now I can see the checkbox for extended physics 👍

Well... what I will say is not tottaly connected to your sentence but, here we go: I don't pay yet a good money for bad mods but I would pay some money for decent mods.
I don't mean AAA quality. I don't think that AC car mods should always be the top quality available. Besides, a good mod for you could be a bad mod for some and vice versa.
Yes, there are tons, really good mods out there, but hey, some car mods are really hard to find, not all that good but someone had taken the time to make it. And it's decent. I don't have an exemple from the top of my head right now but I think, some people, have their car mod that loves even not being AAA quality. So I applaude the ones who make it (free or paid, please do more) and I try to enjoy even not being top quality. So yeah, I would pay some money for cars not considered "good" mods, especially if they're rare cars. :)

Hi could someone do the RainFx on Surfers Paradise 2004. Maybe on the Mike08 texture update. I live 15 minutes from the circuit. And when the event is on in October or hopefully in December this year. It's storm season so the weather is very much interesting to say the least. So i would be awesome if the circuit had RainFx on it.

Cheers.
Here you go
surfers paradise 2004_rainfx track bg.jpg

Basic RainFX config for Surfers Paradise 2004 by (Rainmaker) with extra textures by (mike08)

This is once again very basic and can be improved upon I'm sure. Especially in additional streaming edge/point zones as I didn't go overboard with the streaming edges (lazy boy tactics :D)

Anyway, I hope it's of use

There is an existing config file in the extension/config/tracks/loaded folder add this to the bottom and save

Follow instructions in the original download overview page
https://www.racedepartment.com/down...rainfx-config-files-for-various-tracks.38503/

;for Surfers Paradise 2004 by Rainmaker and retexture by Mike08
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/surfers-paradise-2004-retexture-by-mike08.30167/

Add to end of existing rio.ini in yourpc:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded

or create your own ext_config.ini file in the tracks extension folder (Don't forget to copy over the surfers_paradise2004__lights.kn5 file from the loaded folder too)

Its most common use is to 'switch on' the wet weather physics when you are using rain with the latest (preview) builds of CSP.

A few mods have been created that have also taken advantage of it I believe, but I've not tried them out myself yet.

Thank you, that's interesting. I need to experiment with this then! :)

Does it also 'switch off' the wet weather physics when the rain stops (or hasn't fallen yet)?

No "official" announcement were made, but Legion had some time ago updated the glorious Nissan Bluebird Super Silhouette. Just the name of the car gives me goosebumps.

Not sure what were updated, but at least the steering animation got fixed. It's a very fun car now. And there really ain't too many Bluebirds around, it's good to have a one like this.

A picture worth a thousand words.

For the sake of whatever, creating a nice preview costs nothing but 10mnts of good taste work.

Encrypted (I have to 'eat' as it is)

Non-Encrypted (I can 'cook' as I want)

If only it were possible to encrypt mods, but let us to chose a preview, visualy it wouldn't be so poluted for our(my) eyes.
