In honor of the Victory Day (9th May) , I present to you the final (it seems)) version of the Neva Ring.
- Updated several concrete blocks and a new lighthouse (Thanks to Nikita Prokopyev!);
- Fixed incorrect display of marking lines;
- Fixed flying trees;
- Improved lighting;

- Added VAO and many other little things.

As many have noticed the Agera RS and the RSR are way too fast compared to reality While waiting for the next update which would be mainly visual, I suggest you download the new aero.ini file which makes the performance of the cars much more realistic. Simply drag the file into the data folder of each car.
Enjoy !

Unfortunately, I think it's too fast again. 0-300: 9.5 sec waoww

We need to tell to Bruce Kelt of this monster:

He is the author of these giant diesel monsters. I know him is quiete busy with buses atm and I love them all plus his truck. I saw that "the iron knight" (the name of this truck) is in Forza Horizon 4 so just in case the model could be borrowed from there.:bowdown:

The track was VERY rough. I'll try to smooth them out a little, but not much. Look for alternative trajectories)

This is fun with the Superkart 250cc from Legion (- @GzeroD -)... you can really see the bumps in VR and the replay. Bumps should still be there, but lessen the "severity" or "sharpness" of the really bad ones on the start/finish straight and the turn at the end of the long back curve and "bus stop" corners.

@GzeroD I just had a chance to try your Superkart. Excellent! Now I'm running laps on all the real tracks they actually race at... and I just ordered a flat-top kart wheel rim for my TS-PC Racer. I need to try the other two kart mods you released, but if they're this good...

The only thing I'd like to see if this mod is updated--merge the floating display so it turns with the wheel.

Time to design and print another adapter. I might even design a sequential kart shifter.

You don't notice that much with a normal car. But with a kart, it's all the more noticeable. You really have to be careful that you don't fly off the track. But it's lots of fun.

@ApexVGear Great time, by the way

I want to do a fake scan. High quality physical surface. To make the bumps in these places more adequate.
I have not yet found how to do it correctly.

Is there a good version of Phillip Island? I have the Terra21 one and the kerbs are transparent because of CSP, and the racedeparment one gives me the feeling of driving on ice.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

Can't you change the road feel in the surfaces.ini? It might be fine, but compare it to other road surfaces and see if it is different.
I had an okay version of Phillip Island, but the car's tyres always looked like they weren't quite touching the road surface. In the end, I got rid of it because of this.

is there any tutorial on how to convert RF2 tracks into AC? Want to have a good COTA mod but the acu's one is kinda crappy, so I thought I'd find a good one to convert. Perhaps someone of you could hand me tips and tricks. Thanks

That srh Cota is the same as acu; both are a codemasters conversion. vehteh(?)'s version is the best thanks to the mesh, add my extension to get the lights

It would be great if someone can import Kart space II track from Gran Turismo 6. I leave here a video of the track:

Hello there ! This is my first post on GT Planet but I hope it's a helpful one. I too was experiencing problems with drone cam with the new CSP update. My solution was to disable Altitude Lock. For me this is done by pressing down the left thumb stick on an xbox controller.

I would like to add. Hello to everyone. I only started getting into sim racing a few months ago and discovered this wonderful forum a few weeks ago. I would like to thank all of you for this amazing place with it's wealth of knowledge and incredible mods. I am very late to the party and have been slowly working my way through the pervious forum posts. It's going to take some weeks to do that :lol:

Thank you very much, for your advice. Everything works, rotation sides, etc.
What does not work (up and down and car follow)
Welcome to this forum :cheers:

I did the display split for us non VR, non visible wheel users. It's a real pity AC doesn't have a system like rFactor where you could replace parts using upgrades. I'm not sure if CSP can do it, I've yet to try, as the models are inside 'nodes' and may not be able to be manipulated that way.

For anyone who wants a fix for the mirrors of the Apollo Intensa Emozione (exterior mirrors work as mirrors and interior cameras work as cameras) create an extension folder inside the car folder, create a ext_config.ini inside of it and paste this:
Code:
[REAL_MIRROR_0]
FOV=40
IS_MONITOR=0

[REAL_MIRROR_1]
FOV=40
IS_MONITOR=1

[REAL_MIRROR_2]
FOV=40
IS_MONITOR=1

[REAL_MIRROR_3]
FOV=40
IS_MONITOR=0

CULL_MODE= OFF

This small change to an extensions .ini provided by Slider666 fixed a simple problem that would have taken me an age to sort out inside 3DSMax due to lack of knowledge.
Thankyou brother.

IMO this humungous "general" thread needs to be separated into two, one for discussing and sharing mods/ideas/information and another for the sands through the hourglass BS.

@Scaff

Is this even a possibility?
