@TMLM I had to disable wiper control in SOL 2.0, somehow even though I was using sol 2.1 script, 2.0 was overriding everything

So I'm getting back into the swing of things, and I have a favor to ask: what all would you recommend for mods right now? I'll be completely honest, I'm not wading through all of these pages. You all do way too much, way too fast. :lol:

I still have my AC mod folder standing in at 44 gigs, so you know, pile on!

Hey everyone,
I wanted to try out the new LOD generator in CM, but when I click on "View prepared model" it shows a pretty funny model, especially at LOD D.

Should I even care about these previews or am I good to go with the default settings without worrying too much? Will this look good in game? Can I redo (delete the generated LODs) if they happen to look garbage in AC? A comment from somebody who's already tried this tool would be much appreciated!

Hi! Try to unpack the kn5 in CM, load it in ksEditor, and there select the EXT_WINDOW or INT_WINDOW and set isTransparent true. Or you could try to set ksWindscreen for the EXT_WINDOW or INT_WINDOW. I hope that helps.

Easy, the original creator of the FunCup mod (as the Assettoland download turned out to be a leak) contacted me and asked me to take down my download links. I've done so, could you do the same?

This mod isn't going to end up as a 'private' mod, it will be publicly available in due course. There are plenty of things that still need to be improved, and it'll be complete with real-life driver and data input. I'll be helping him with some of the AC specific stuff so it can get finished and we can all get a complete package to enjoy. Thanks a lot!
 
No, I have read many many times that G-Sync is a must nowdays and nothing is comparable to it. The ideal buy is a monitor with the G-Sync build in or at least G-Sync compatable.

Don't understand, why many people don't care about motion blurr.
I'm going mad with it and really do need something against.
 
Tree FX could be a game changer for many tracks, let's hope he will implement it faster and drop it faster in the future 😉
yup, long overdue for AC, especially when converting older tracks or from other games like AMS/RF2 where the trees are camera facing and only single planes. I was kind of hoping treefx would have an option to make camera facing trees as well because trees more than 50m from the road dont need to be super heavy mesh models dragging FPS down.. something to be learned from the way the gmotor engine handles those using both 3d tress and single plane trees in a map.
 
good afternoon I am wanting to add the wiper but I have a bigger problem ... the drops are not visible on the windshield
Can someone explain to me what configuration to add?

can some kind sould do windscreen and wipers for the Audi 90 GTO '89
I have no idea where i go tthis car or who makes it, but would love to be able to give it a run in the wet.

Are you using the patreon version on CSP (actually 0.1.76 preview 1)?

Edit: expert gentlemen, what PBR means?

Thank you so much for these updates. I love all of these ACC conversion cars because I don't have the system to actually play ACC, not that I would even if I could. Makes me feel like i'm not missing out on anything with these conversions. One car conversion I have never been able to find is the Aston Martin. Do you know if anyone has ever done or plans to do an ACC conversion of the AM?
