Hello, please help me get this error

Let the free roam / cruise battle begin! Brun has updated his High Force track to version 1.0 to take on Union Island. :D

BTW - is there a local name for the area of High Force? Other than Forest-in-Teesdale. I just can't get along with the name High Force (I know the reason it's called that).

Haha...I named it Teesdale Run :D

The area High Force Waterfall is in is The North Pennines so you could use that i suppose.
North Pennines covers a lot of ground though.

We generally just call it Teesdale, which only really covers the area up to the source and down to Middleton. After that, the river's so wide the towns switch from -in-Teesdale to -on-Tees, before it gets down my end of it and everything is just Teesside.

Source: I live there.

Maybe he does not ave a proper version of the track and that we should recommend him one. As I can recall most of the tracks I downloaded from drift specialised website like vosan.com don't include ai lines to race. I don't have a link but for me it would be ddm Tsukuba 😃
I just checked, I have both the ddm version as well as one by Esprit3905 installed 😄

I reported to Brun some small issue with the High Force map, he said there will be a patch it in a week or so.

But aside from that, fantastic improvement. Now my purchase of Forza Horizon 4 has been deemed a complete waste of money... I'm glad nontheless.

Thanks @chazz ranger and others for the head's up on some ai issues at rt sonoma. I've updated the ai, again, to get a wider variety of cars working on different tracks. I also forgot to mention original fast lanes are by @LiquidSkyMan, with the exception of the WTCC layout. Testing was done at 80-100% strength and aggression.

Hmmm, again, which layout? I've tested Kunos and most of the ACC mod GT3's at 100% S&A on all layouts, and haven't had that problem. If it's repeatable incident, see if it is the same car causing problems. If so weed it out, and see if that helps.

I can't ever guarantee the track ai will work perfectly 100% of the time with all the mods out there. It's a hand in hand relationship between the track and car's ai, to make it work. Some cars have better ai built in than others. PM me and I'll see if we can figure it out.

edit: here's a screenshot of the GT3's I tested. Ran several short races without problems, on long and wtcc layouts.

Thanks, pretty sure actually it's the URD GTE cars, the AI are generally stupid aggressive with how much track they'll use, that's fixable. Thanks for the awesome work overall, Sonoma is an all-time fave

Guys the new porsche 992 gt3 cup how good is compared to the free 992 gt3 cup mod that is in assetto ?
I’ve bought it and I’d say that the URD version is obviously superior. However that being said I think this is probably the most skippable mod URD have put out so far. The free mod doesn’t have as good model quality and it’s physics are from/based upon the 2017 car I think. That being said since the physics are from/based upon another Porsche 911 by Kunos it drives well enough and has a bunch of skins made for it, so it gives the illusion of driving the 992 Cup well enough for a free mod.

I think it all comes down to how interested you are in Porsche cup cars. there’s already one (the 991) in the game and this new one is paid, so I don’t think there’s as much a case towards buying it as say the GR010 or the RSS GT1 cars.

Yeah, pretty much. If you don't have a burning desire in your heart to get the new 992 and the 991 GT3 Cup is only a once in a while sort of drive, I'd say just stick with the one the game comes with. It's basically the same car.

I would disagree with the Waffles. It is head and shoulders better than the free one released a couple of months ago. That one had ripped physics and you could see strait through the hood to the ground. The new one is actually the best driving URD car they have released in a while. The Hypercar and the two GT1s just drove like junk in my opinion. I bought the URD car and it is the first time in a while that I thought that one of theirs was worth the price.

I don't really think that's disagreeing with me. I said the free version was just OK for a free mod and the URD version was way better. I also agree that the URD car drives very nice. I was basically just saying that it being worth it boils down to whether or not you think it's worth spending the money when the 991 is already in the game, which in my opinion it might not be for everyone. I paid something around 6.50 CAD for it and to be honest I don't think that's value compared to some other mods or DLC out there especially since there are already numerous alternatives both included in the game and as free downloads (the 911 GT America for example).

Also I agree with you about the recent dip in URD's quality, I was a little disappointed by the GR010 they released recently too. This one is better but its just derivative.

Also I'm interested about the see-through hood issue you had. There were several versions of the free mod floating around (and several fixed too on GTP I think) and the version I was using didn't have that if I recall correctly. I don't remember which one it was though because I deleted it after buying the URD version.

I had the one that easy posted. I commented on the issue of the hole in the hood and he said he could not fix it. I will agree that this mod being the same price as RSS and VRC mods is a bit suspect but URD always charges this. At least this time the mod drives well. Those two GT1 cars were mostly garbage sounding and driving. This car is closer to the GTE cars from a couple of years ago. I am ok with this purchase. I hope they fix the couple of flaws in it though.

Done some changes I felt needed to be done on the Bolide.
  • Fixed 3D face for the front air curtain and other parts of the car including the right side brake calipers
  • The upper half of the body is now in a gloss finish
  • Updated skins and colour schemes to reflect the concept car
  • Optimised textures
  • Updated power curve and output to Bugatti's specs, suspension, and tyres for improved drivability.
  • Steering lock-to-lock is now 300-degrees like in LMP1 cars.
  • Included baked AO
  • New setup options including aero, dampers, and suspension travel
  • Rear mirror is now a screen
  • Fixed passenger camera
  • Headlights now function as DRLs as intended on the IRL car
  • Exhaust flames now amber instead of blue
  • Other small CSP adjustments and stuff

Oh GTE, okay, yeah that's different to me than GT3. Anyhoo I just tested the Aston, BMW, and Ford together on all four layouts at 100% strength/aggression without any problems.

BTW if you are using the "New AI Behavior" in CM, did you delete those .bin and cache files in each layout's ai folder, as instructed, when you added the new ai? That's about all I can think of.

Glad you like the track as much as I do.

I really like where this is going, but in your monaco is always raining.. 😋.
I know it is because it looks more cool with all the reflections but can you post sometimes images with dry city too?
Yes, it's cooler, haha I like how everything looks reflected on the ground and that, it is also that there is still a lot to do in the circuit and one of the things is to assign shading, there are many things that do not produce shadow and that with the wet floor is not noticeable.

this map is crazy, it is going to eat much longer than planned, just treating the terrain elevations in the new areas is a nightmare haha

Ooh I am sure it's crazy and a big mess sometimes. Maybe one big improvement will be to find good road textures, to incorporate big and small cracks, some color and texture alterations. One thing that throws me off on lots of tracks is that the asphalt is too uniform and perfect. Becomes monotonous and boring after a few kilometers. That's not how it is in real life.
Keep up the good work! Can't wait to try it.

Thanks - any plans to animate the wiper?

I agree, in addition to adding marks on the ground, sewers etc, the cost in performance is almost zero, but it is another step to do.

Nor does it seem realistic to me that you can drive fully in a city, and less in Monaco when you leave what is the gp track, it is like another city in the middle of a mountain, with crazy elevations and completely bumpy, bumps that if you go fast They make you jump, the sewers can also make you jump or unbalance the car, it has nothing to do with running on a race track.

actually i've just checked - the mesh where wiper is called Coloured003 and includes other details, so it should be separated first obviously to a single mesh. then it could be simply animated with csp, i've done this recently for my car, nothing struggling and quite easy (process doesn't work on Nords though so this should be a typical track to do this) - Ilya did a marvellous job for this tool
