Really looking forward to driving this, but I get an error saying "analog instrument broken". Anyone can alert MNBA or provide a quick fix? Thanks 👍

If anyone is experiencing the same problem, I found a fix. Unpack the data.acd and delete digital_instrument.ini

Most attempt at fixes online that I found ask you to delete the analog_instrument.ini or disable "accurate tacho" in CSP extensions, which doesn't work.

Tagging @gladbecker82 because you had the same problem with a car back in 2019. Don't know if you've solved it yet, but hope this helps (as well as anyone with the same problem).



I wonder if people actually test their cars before releasing it sometimes...
 
Honestly what really gets me about the 9X8 is just how hecking slooooowwwww it is - it struggles to keep up with LMP2s let alone the URD GR010

I've spent all afternoon trying to speed the thing up to little avail and I genuinely cannot for the life of me wrap my head around this dang car
Unless you have BOPed the LMP2s they will be faster than the Hypercars.

irl yeah but the URD GR010 is already faster by the LMP2s I have by quite a bit - I've genuinely spent all day trying to speed up the 9X8 to match its pace, and I very almost have it lmao

I tested this car with a triple screens and the left and right windows did not work! I mean that the landscape with scrolling of the circuit in the side windows does not scroll ! it is as if the car is duplicated with two layers on top of each other and when we move the seat forward there is a gap with what we see in real life ! LOL Sim Bidul are still big dicks :dunce: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there are still quite a few problems but otherwise it will never come out ... some of which I can’t fix including :

the Alpine always flies in the showroom ?! , I can no longer generate a correct AO for the body of the Porsche ?!

I probably kept it there because of this, but I installed it again to check the window issue that I don't seem to have. I also noticed now that it's the URD car fixed by rshumi. Can't remember what was fixed exactly but it could be that window glitch...idk...
No prob, back in storage, using the AG version... 🙂

I installed the original URD car: no rear lights.
Then added your data.acd: still no rear lights 🤔

My brakelights didn‘t work on track, then I used @lorelord's data.acd which fixed it, tried in CM showroom first. Went back to the original data.acd, brake lights still work in showroom and on track…

OK, but I meant the rear driving lights. Brake lights work fine in the vanilla and rshumi fix version.
 
About Adelaide 1988 (Terra21 AMS1 conversion):

Are there any track-creation wizardry specialists out there who could possibly optimise this track? The track, object models, road markings & kerbs etc are highly accurate, but it’s the only track I have, where I see constant stuttering throughout, no matter how many cars I’m running.

The textures aren’t too great either. They’re very muddy with with flat-looking trees and basic sponsor logos compared to what you see in the AMS1 & AMS2 originals.

The 1988 mod track pack version of Adelaide has the opposite issue - the textures and logos are perfect, but the actual track and object modelling isn’t the most accurate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ah, now I get it... the LEDs on the side are not separate so they can't be lighted up witout touching the kn5 but the back light can be enabled by adding another light to the lights.ini in the unpacked data folder:

You can either specify the number explicitly (e.g. LIGHT_3) or you can let CSP append the rule to the array of rules already processed/loaded by adding three dots. This prevents overwriting other config blocks that might exist in other files.

Almost everything is possible, I was already working on it : just extract these files in your extension folder 😉
The only question at the moment is what to replace it with... I guess something half urban / half country

I swear, this car is haunted for me...
I added the extra lines and in showroom I do have rear lights now, but no brake lights...
In game: brake lights work as before, but still no tail lights:
