Take a closer look at the pic I posted, it seems like there's some double imaging/overlapping textures. Might be z-fighting causing the issue?
Or maybe it's only obvious in VR?

the problem is well on the texture it should be changed
 
I'm getting a lot of glare off the road surface, it turns almost white at times. Anybody else? My settings are pretty standard.
Also getting a weird shimmering/holographic effect from these flags, similar to when glass is set up badly... maybe a transparency issue?

Hi @Masscot, no problem for me for white road surface. Tested with CSP 1.75 and latest version of Sol.

Does anyone have the following mods that im missing? I have a couple of skins for the following car mods that i can't use without the mods itself.

Sorry, meant to post this a few weeks ago but forgot. It'll add the R246 balloons, blimp, helis and airliners from the old track into the new ДЯДЯ ДИМА version, with asset positions/paths adjusted to better fit the new track scale, orientation and building locations etc.
It's a bit of a compromise without completely redoing the animation paths from scratch (the two tracks have completely different datums and orientation), and the helis/balloons/blimp are all slightly older versions. The tree canopy in the new track is much denser and closer than in the old track so line-of-sight is quite different, but if you want some active airspace stuff up there then this should do the job.
Backup your existing track first, it'll be easier to revert if you don't like it, then unzip the folder to your ...assettocorsa/content/tracks folder and overwrite when asked. Or unzip and drop everything in the folder into your ddm_gt6_r246 track folder, overwriting when asked.
Anything you want to remove can be done by simply renaming the relevant kn5 in the track folder, and individual starting positions can be adjusted in the models.ini


It'd be great if someone could add the reverse route... @alfa_r4 might you be interested following your work on Castle Hill layouts??

Here's the original link to the track (how could you miss a masterpiece like this?! :))

I was wondering if you (or anyone else with the necessary skills) might be interested in adding the reverse route that the original modder left out.

Upppss, No, I have it, but it is a different version that includes the reverse route "acf_tokyo246", is the one from ddm much better than the acf one?

Yeah the DDM version is a major replacement over the ACF version. No more giant billboards blocking the buildings, just pure actual port from the game.
 
Current progress with the Dauer
here's stuff that i have currently modeled myself:
-Rear twin exhausts
-Side body panels
-Rear underneath panels
-Interior rebodying
-Shifter console
-Door parts
-Front bumper rebodying mostly for the plate
-Rear lamps they kinda look crappy lol.
-A lot of metal parts have been removed both from the interior and the carpets to match the real car.
Also the seats are very cramped lol. Heard that it was a bit uncomfortable to sit in the real car.
(Steering wheel is currently being modeled) however i'm not sure if i will use it....
Might model the OG Dauer seats as well.
The exterior of the car should match the real thing the only different thing on here is the front bumper
it doesn't have a line in-between the sides of the bumper like on the real thing but i will probably do that too
once i figure out how to do it.
Also some of the meshes on the side panels particularly the rear part you can see it in the second picture
cast weird shadows/reflections i will probably have to fix the mesh to solve it.
And the front headlights have some clipping issues with one of the eternal meshes which ill need to back out.
