Ring Djursland V1.0 for Assetto Corsa by ZWISS
================================

The real track:
===============
Ring Djursland is a motor racing circuit in Pederstrup, Denmark.
It hosts rounds of the Danish Touring Car Championship.
Ring Djursland first opened in 1965, but was altered a year later to its current layout. In 1983 it was bought by the Danish state, who renovated the track to use it as an educational centre with advanced driving courses for lorry drivers. After losing its environmental permit in the late 1980s, it reopened for racing in 1994.It is a relatively short circuit at 1.094 miles, it is known for its tight and hilly circuit layout.

Google Earth: 56°20'13.35"N - 10°41'4.03"E

The sim version:
================
Anton 'Norup' Sorenson created this track for Grand Prix Legends in 2002 and later he converted it to F1C, and then to rFactor. I converted it to GTR2 in 2011, but I changed about 50% of the meshes.
Now I almost completely rebuild it for AC.
I guess there is about 5% left of the old GPL meshes and textures.

Thanks to KevinK2 for the AI work, cams and rain.
Thanks to CrisT86 for the lights and other ext_config.ini work.

Feel free to p.m. me for errors or suggestions.
I will do an update when I have bundled all input.

Many, many thanks Zwiss. Looking great.
Maybe consider also Padborg in future we would have great Dannish tracks representation in AC.

Hey you. I think I'm the first to make a (the only?) real world skin for Legion's high wing P68. And I think that you (yes, you reading this right now) might enjoy it. Did some research and told the story of the car too. Whole big thing. It's on RaceDepartment here:

You deserve this, my dude.

You'll need the ext_config.ini in the skin folder to hide Legion's front wing?

Code:
[MODEL_REPLACEMENT_0]
FILE=parts.kn5
HIDE=front_wing_aerofoil, front_wing_strut, front_wing_turnbuckle
INSERT=
INSERT_AFTER=

;front_wing_aerofoil, front_wing_strut, front_wing_turnbuckle, hiwing_aerofoil, hiwing_strut, hiwing_turnbuckle

Hey are there any good skinpacks for the RSS Hyperion?
for example:

common it`s not really hard to find those yourself ;)

Thank you, Zwiss - it looks great!

I was hoping that, out of the two, you'd release Crystal Palace first (as I'm more interested in that) but this is not bad either. ;)

Speaking of Jags this one will be getting a overhaul...
Redid quite a bit of things like properly mapped AO,Redone wheel placement (Car doesn't look slammed down to the ground anymore), semi refraction only for the front headlights because PC2 models don't support refraction,Fixed collider, no more ugly 3D stickers,Added more AO on more objects,Added functional gauges for turn signals,lights,hazards ect... I even added a fully functional working analog clock which looks nice. Still not finished yet as my standards for a mod has drastically increased.
However i still need to iron out the bad looking polys and try to cover up the stitching.

Is it about collecting, more than racing for me? I discovered today that out of the 3189 cars in my car list, I have only driven 198 (6%) of them. Of my limited 707 tracks, I have only driven on 97 (13.7%). Am I only in this for collecting with the occasional race in between, mostly not more than 4 laps at a time? I love the game, love the VR races, love creating and sharing back in my limited capacity, but think the addiction is more about the collection and appreciation of the beautiful cars. What are your stats? filter in content manager by driven:0 for both cars and tracks. Look at all, then the result.

I pare back my collection about once every three months. Now down to 200-odd cars and 450-odd tracks. And almost 5,000 hours total.

Edit: I have to confess: I am a pack-rat. My 200 cars/450 tracks are the only ones actually active, but in a secret vault in a secure location I have hundreds--maybe thousands--more cars and tracks. I will probably never re-activate them, but will keep them until the end of time or my off-site hard drive fails...whichever occurs first.

At this moment 266 cars (some 500 more in my 'storage') and 343 tracks, all used. No street cars.
A little note, I recently (accidentally) ticked the 'remove missing' button in RESULTS > stats and 'lost' about 15.000 km from my most used track alone. Also lost driving time (is now at 8 days 12 hours, where Steam has recorded close to 3.000 hrs, so be careful with that if you are devoted to these numbers :D
Moving the 'old' BAC Mono (decided to keep only the new Reboot version installed) also made me lose about 25.000 km in the driven distance.
BAC Mono is my most used with 7.888km, the least used is the Maserati Birdcage with 4.5km, but that is due to a new version of the car a while ago, so all driven distance in the previous one was lost too.

Very impressive! If you don't mind my asking, how much space does all of that AC mods take up on your hard drive? I'm just curious because I will eventually end of owning that many cars and tracks eventually as well lol

Less than 1100, 98% racecars, 20% undriven, 6th month into AC, still have to disable lots of Kunos' I don't care about.
But I'm also compiling tons of championships seasons so in other 6 months lots of chances to purge and that 20% will be driven or driven against.
310 tracks, probably a 15% will be purged.

515 cars on 211 tracks ---> everything used in diverse Custom Championships and of course driven.
Absolutely NO collecting. There are even some great cars out there, which i let even out of the game, because they don`t fit in any championship (if there are no competetive cars, even BOPed ones)
But i have created some "fake" championships too, to use as many cars as possible.
Among some other fake championships i use for example the NfS pack, running together with the countach, lotus esprit, maserati bora a "retro championship".

@browser I also reduced the number of mods drastically to about 250 cars and 100 tracks. And it was defenitly by design. I don't mind the hoarder in me as I often also spend more time sorting everything, collecting full series,... It's just part of the fun for me. I much more hate not knowing what to drive. And even worse the feeling of:"why am I driving this, when there is so many better mods, that I didn't drive in ages." So I actually went and made a list for a particular "want" I have. If I want street car lapping the Nordschleife - Viper Acr by Beto or Kunos alfa 33, if I want open wheel racing - VRC Na 1999, ferrari 87 by acr or f1 75 by bazza, GT cars - Lanzo V12, aston urd gte, m1 procar darche 97 by urd or Audi gto by vrc, modern Tcr - cupra by fuzo, Old tcr - Volvo 240 or m3, muscle cars - v8corsa mustang or IRL brasilian v8, lmp - VRC 2003 or modern. So if I add this up, I could easily live with 15 cars and those that run with these in the series. So no more than 50 cars. And I have all the cars I need for years to come.

But of course we are all hoarders and little kids on the inside. So a new shiny toy will always grab our attention. 😂😂

I am a serial accumulator and I like discover new cars or tracks. I try to fix the contents as I can and mainly I like to drive quick race for fun with AI custom car or same car or simply test the car for some laps. This is why I love Assetto Corsa and all his world!
With CM and CSP the title has began incredible and I want to see...more for the future!
Ah...and thanks to all modders...mainly! Without them we would not have everything we see.
Thanks

PS: AC, ETS2 and ATS are my games!
