Yes is a conversion for my league...

Which game converted this modell? Or your own model?
(There are very good car models in Ferrari Racing Legends.)

Let me know if its ready cuz i'll be going on a break until i come back home.

Reminder: The folder name for the RS3 LMS is "t78_tp56"

Guys, any idea why ONLY the lights of the car I'm reworking are not visible in the mirrors?
Basically if I start a quick race with M8s and other cars, only the AI cars with M8 have no headlights visible. (The original car has the same issue)

No idea, but I guy just posted in the SOL thread on RD that he's having issues with AI headlights as well. It's possible its a CSP thing... (maybe... possibly?).

After I posted my reply to you above - I went back to playing around at LeMans - using real conditions. It's dark there now - On my first lap, I could see the headlights of some AI cars in my rear view mirror, but not all. The cars who's headlights didn't show up were Velosmods 936 Porsche - the DRM modding teams cars all had headlights I could see. All cars had the light visible when they passed me.

Don't know if this will help, but it might give you something to compare to your car and help track down the Gremlin...

@Badgerman
It's related to a single car... not all the cars.

I tried now Le Mans and it's the same issue with M8.
I remember it happaned the same issue with Ford Focus RS MK2 Cup by BetoFR, while the Supercup version worked fine.

maybe ACTIVE=1 first
Excellent thinking ! :bowdown:

This setting does the trick:
[DOWNSHIFT_PROTECTION]
ACTIVE=1
DEBUG=0 ; adds a line in the log for every missed downshift
OVERREV=500 ; How many RPM over the limiter the car is allowed to go
LOCK_N=1

I have no idea if the real Skippy has it, but it sure prevents me of involuntary shifts to neutral when the car is still moving.
Thanks, thanks, thanks... 👍

But... I've been running the same race over and over all week. Before the latest CSP the Porsche's headlights were visible in my rear view mirrors - but they haven't been since I installed the latest version. Just hoping the issues could possibly be related... ?

Just FYI: I just tried the M8 in a night race. I have the same issues.
But I also tried Kunos Audi TT Cup: headlghts in the mirrors are faint, but visible; but none of the competitors has tail lights, only brake lights...

Edit: BAC mono: same issue

It's even weirder than that. I've had several night races where, when the race starts, the cars in front have their lights on, but the ones behind me do not.

Then, if I let those cars pass me, they immediately turn their lights on - as they pass by me.

Weird!

Well, it was CSP causing my issues, but it wasn't a bug, it was a feature...

The latest post on the 1.2 SOL thread at RD directed me to a post in the same thread a day or two ago - in the CSP "CPU Optimizations" section there's a switchbox to "turn off things if there are many cars" which is on by default. I turned it off... all of the AI have all their head and taillights working now...

Turning that feature off cost me about .5 fps - so I've switched it off for good.

Worst part, I had actually read the earlier post when it first showed up. Yup, I'm an idiot!...

I hope I haven't unnecessarily confused anyone! Apologies if I have!

Another question:

I see URD Ford GTE has a folder inside texture folder, called display_panel (just like the Audi TT by Kunos):

But how do you activate the position led numbers?

hi delpinsky! i extract the data.acd (whit car tuner and i compared whit the porsche rsr 2018 (from URD and in this car i see 2 files digital-instumentals.ini and digital_panel.ini, but in urd detroit i see only the digital_instrumental.ini, maybe can this .ini archive missing is the responsable to activate? because im only see the led number of position on the porsches and not on the detroits...

Ahhh i just woke up &...wait...does anyone got a working link for Tommy78's Audi RS3 LMS? I have the skin from RD but i can't even find the car mod.

I was about to go to the car show & all the sudden no one is giving me a PM...:nervous:

Found an issue in the non chicane version. Car slows down (about 10km/h) where the second chicane is and I get a cut track warning.

@leBluem don't know if helpful but:
there is a difference when using the left lane: still a slow down, but no cut track warning.
Taking the left lane you slow down and get a warning.

I always have that 'Limit some things if there are a lot of cars' unchecked, but despite that I see no lights (except braking lights) on other cars (night racing).

Me too. Probably just a bug with recent CSPs.

Weird... turning it off fixed all my issues, and turning off "road reflections" took care of the only other anomaly I've noticed so far. The vast majority of my AC time the last week has involved driving at night, and I've only noticed one car without taillights, but checking the light config for the car explains that - they simply aren't there!

I've just installed the CSP 129 - all seems good so far... but it was daylight when I made a lap to check things out.

Hi, I have a problem whith SOL, since I instaled it, the sky blinks.
How can I solve it?
Another question talking about SOL: Which is the best setup for a low range PC???
