You've probably already tried this, but this sounds like an Anti-Virus issue. Have you tried completely disabling any AV software (including Windows Defender real-time protection) before copying the file again?
Thanks, but no. Win 8/10/11 has two levels of user-account authority, both called "Administrator" (to confuse the enemy). The easy one is accessible through the settings menus; the real one is hidden behind the command prompt (i.e., DOS, "the operating system that never died"), and even accessing the secret Administrator account makes you jump through some hoops that would make Gary Kildall (who invented DOS) blanch. It's my cross to bear, but I'll figure it out. Eventually.

Edit: I thought I might have found a classic Windows "work-around;" a FDU-accessible option to activate a Developer Mode that promised, "Install apps from any source, including loose files." Sounded like just the ticket. My 'acs.exe' is just such a loose file and I expected that I could install in in my AC folder. Bzzzt! Curses, foiled again.

So I bit the bullet and did the right thing: uninstalled the whole blasted game and reinstalled it from Steam. Took a lot less time than I had wasted by trying to avoid the obvious solution. When will I ever learn....

Good job ! The steering wheel of the BT46B looks offset in the photo. Is it an optical effect?

As I wrote this isnt my mod! So no, I cant bc lack of knowledge.

And as I wrote yesterday it would be possible to place different looking girls, but I forgot something: The tire dudes! They use the same textures so they will look even scarier as scarecrow if I hit them with the girls textures. So I had to cancel this idea.

Just the main skin.

Well, I need a job too.

NOT WORKING, BUT THX

EDIT:
I SOLVE, DONWLOAD NEW CAR LINK

!!!VERY BIG POST, im Sorry!!!

I want to publish the mod (BMW E26 Procar 1979-1980 + Le Mans + IMSA GTO + Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft (translated as German Racing Championship) or simply DRM + Trans-Am) that I announced, completely free from unrealistic skins from pcars and wrong colors and datas.

All Skins are made and / or reworked by me Mr.Hunt and i tried to make them as accurate as possible.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Founded in 1972, BMW Motorsport GmbH had already caused an international sensation with the BMW 2002 and the BMW 3.0 CSL. Now these successes should be impressively underpinned with the BMW M1. During a TV appearance at the beginning of 1978, the head of BMW Motorsport GmbH Jochen Neerpasch presented the racing version of the BMW M1 for the first time in the classic colors white, blue and red.

The production of the racing car took place at several locations. The pre-assembled BMW M1s either came directly to BMW Motorsport GmbH or went to Osella in Italy for completion or to Ron Dennis in Great Britain. The installed parts were always selected and provided by the Munich company. The mix of factory-prepared BMW M1s and those from private teams gave the one-make cup an additional appeal.

Production of the BMW M1 ended in 1981 after a total of 46 Procar racing cars had seen the light of day.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The mod is a reworked version from Pitone and Bazza's and with CSP, Turborims (most of the E26 Procars had them) and new Tyre textures and Helmets, Suits, Data, and many more... i spend countless hours to made this.

a very special project to me , as i am lucky enough to own one ^^

Here is my personal creation of what could be a LOTUS EXIGE GT2 variant ^^

building this kit was a huge work , i wanted to lower the original car , putting much bigger wheels from 17 - front and 18 rear to 19 and 20 ! , wider tracks too , which was making a big work on the wheel archs , and all aero features , the exhaust are higher , to have a much agressive difusor on the rear !

rear lights are now the LOTUS GRP V3 from greg parts , and or course an entire rework interior
next step are to program the LOTUS AIM MXE as switchable displays ^^

Let me know what do u think ^^

i experienced a similar issue, turned out one of the textures was dodgy despite it being a dds or png file.
yea was exactly the pb there , quiet funny because csp was telling the 3D model was damaged while it was a corrupt dds texture causing this !

Did your team (Guerilla) model this Exige bodykit from scratch? If so, then I'm a bit curious why didn't you go for the real-life Lotus JP Zero GT2 car.

I mean it looks cool, but still I wonder why the fictional example instead. At the very least I hope that's one of the liveries available. Bare carbon with red stripes is hot.

yea the story is quiet easy ,

first , yes i ve build this body from scratch ->

regarding the LOTUS JUBU perf , sadly , I was contacting them last year in order to make their car for the game , after some unsuccessful email , they were not interested to make their car for the game , and as I didnot want to have troubles with them , I decided to do my own creation ^^

and their car is based on the 380 cup clam where i wanted to have the 430 clams !)

That's a very nice little car. Drives well too.
One thing though: these bright white rims really don't look good on this car.
All skins (except the Silver Metallic) are equipped with these...
The rims of the Silver Metallic are a bit greyish, but don't look good either.

You could use the CM Showroom paint shop to paint your rims

You can downlaod the missing soundbank here:

edit: it now works. I got confused because the mod data was in the root of the zip with no parent folder, so I unziped using the file name "E26_BMW-M1-Procar" as the folder name but it should be "bmw_m1_procar" to match the kn5 files.

Id recommend always placing the car files within a containing folder to be placed in . . . \content\cars\ rather than us having to create and name the folder.

^ Still doesnt work, crashes whilst loading. If I rename the .bank file to E26_BMW-M1-Procar AC will load but the car has no sound

Only solution is to swap car sound within CM
Just rename the car folder to "bmw_m1_procar" and not the .bank file to "E26_BMW-M1-Procar.bank".

EDIT: The name of the car folder has only to match the name of the sound bank of the car, not the name of the kn5 files.

It also works if you rename the bank file to E26_bmw-m1-procar.bank and edit the GUIDS.txt resp.
