Does anyone have a data fix for the Formula RSS 2013 V8, to stop them tipping over when going around the Loews hairpin? There's no way any car should flip over, going 35mph around there, or over any sausage kerb! :confused::crazy:

I'm guessing it could be a centre of gravity thing perhaps being too high?

It's most likely a track problem. The Monaco tracks I have seen have ridiculously high levels of grip. Do you have this problem on any other track?

Hmm, I'll have to test that later today, on the Monza T1 sausage, but no other cars exhibit this tendency around Monaco.
Monaco 2019 & 2020 tracks, for clarification.

You need to switch on full administrator access to get proper control over your files in Windows 11:


There are many videos on youtube (like this one) that also run through how to do it.

This might be a stupid question but, is It possible to have AC installed 3 times?

I would like to have one AC with racing cars, another with street cars and the other with rally cars
Well I guess it would be possible to keep three copies of the AC install and change the path CM uses each time between them depending on what content you want to use.

Or you could just have one AC install and swap in a different cars folder each time you want to reconfigure the game.

But I still find it a little odd why you don’t want it all in one place.

Excellent question actually, as with the humongous amount of tracks and cars available to us in AC, it is a bit overwhelming at times, to manage it all.

Having multiple install of the whole game, may not be the best way to approach it though. CM offers many ways to do it more efficiently and elegantly. That might be the way you want to explore.

I am actually working on a way to have a GT game within AC, as I realized reading the marketing mumbo jumbo about the "new" GT7 coming out, that I already have GT12 on my hard drive, with VR, all track and cars, custom grid and championship, next next gen graphics, working with all my existing rig peripheral, etc....
So having it organized via CM as a GT game would be the cherry on the sundae. :sly:

When GT12 is tackled, I might put some efforts toward FM 21 and Grid super duper golden platinum edition. :cheers: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: .

The RSS 2013 is tippy- had it happen on several tracks I was working on. Had to adjust ai lines to accomodate, unfortunately. It's not a traction roll issue, it hits kerbs, even at low speed, and flips over. No problem with other RSS's, very surprising.
 
does anyone have experience of moding from gta 4, ive found a very nice model of a rare car that I would like.
I actually did convert some GTA 4 mods to AC long ago, which is relatively easy as to converting ones from V, albeit with a few changes when it comes to locked models and programs
 
Barcelona 2021 and Imola 2021 are now available for download 🙂

As suggested by @Marneus_boss, new extensions will now come as new layouts for the upcoming season
(that will allow to have multiple yearly independent layouts)
You have to select the new layout to make it work

Sorry for the question (...): for 1988 tracks is it better to use original ones with @KevinK2 addons or to use the Easy "package"? Teorically I have to prefer the first option. What's your opinion?
Or both are the same thing? Original Track + KevinK2 Addon = Easy Package or...Easy Package = Original Track + KevinK2 Addon...

Jeddah Extension of Pyyer is great but CHiQuiFReaKy conversion (beta at today) is very very good.
For the first track, Pyyer did a great improvements but the CHiQuiFReaKy conversion it's more..claustrophobic.

is there any chance you could try and convert a model ive found? i can get it to load in zmodeler2 and it shows up in open iv but from then on im lost.

Yea, that newer one needs Pyyer's extension and replay cams still.
I already have done an unreleased extension of a former CHiQuiFReaKy beta version so it should just need some adjustments for the 2022 Grand Prix in a few weeks.

It is about the Porsche 968 RS turbo by Shokeus ACT80's, complete name porsche_968_turbo_rs,

Can someone tell me if you have headlights in the night ?
I did some skins for this car but when I tested them, I founded out that the headlights are working but don't give any light on the road. Not very useful for a car which ran at Le mans... And it does so with the base skin, so it shouldn't come from my side. Can someone test it and tell me if it works well for them or not ?

Don't know if it can be done without causing a problem, but could you rename lod d to something else so it doesn't try to use lod d in the game?

As for the skins, I know I could resize them to 2k, but do I need to resize every file in each skin folder to keep alignments correct or can I just do the main skin file?
If data.acd is encrypted...

Try:
rename LOD_D to LOD_D.kn5.backup
rename LOD_C to LOD_D
If I could just figure out what happened to the body shadow on the ground, i'd have something I could live with. Anyone want to take a look at the .kn5 and tell me what i'm missing because I can't figure out what I did to make it disappear?

Try:
export the .kn5 to FBX via CM or kn5conv(_x64)
edit the fbx.ini for all CAST_SHADOWS=0 to CAST_SHADOWS=1
load the .fbx in ksEditor and also verify with "cast shadows" for all of your meshes
save as .kn5
test
