I couldn't care less about how much money he makes. This has been discussed here to death already, and it's pointless to continue. I just wanted to know if he's doing alright. He hasn't expressed himself in Patreon since February and with the war going on that feels like an eternity ago. I know very well where I stand in that matter but I would hate to learn something horrible happened to him for whatever reason. Can anybody help? I bought the Beamer V12 from VRC but it never worked for me. Please check the error message. Don´t know how to fix the car. I already contacted the VRC team and hoiping for help.

That's literally what I'm saying lol. If the uv maps are different then renaming won't work because you'd be trying to project a texture oriented one way onto something oriented another way.
going back to the vrc vs. velo example
VRC's mapping is this
comparing it to velo (which I think is forza mapping?):
obviously a lot different hence why renaming wouldn't work in this scenario (well unless you're looking for that kinda thing)
if it's the same mapping from 2 different creators, then either they ripped from the same place or one stole from the other.

Going back over the very first track I ever tried to create an ext_config for, Lime Rock. Now that I understand how to use Photoshop a little better, I wanted to try and improve the textures because the colors always looked faded and yellow to me. I realize a lot of it could be my personal ppfilter and\or my monitor settings so this may look odd on your monitor. Just wondering if you think I went too far on the amount of overall added green, too much saturation\contrast and maybe too dark.

I can't check the length of the aston as a model right now because I'm at work. but according to the measurements it should be just as long as the lamborghini hurancan gt3.
So the Aston has a lenght of 4385mm and the Lamborghini a length of 4458mm. Maybe compare it to the Huracan.

I don't know if the proportions of the Aston's wing in AC are an exact match to the real world, but it seems the Aston did have a massive wing in the real world.

Looks like it fits to the real measurements in comparison to the Lambo.🤔
Maybe the Aston AMR has not the right measurement. 🤔

Put together a little track skin\ext_config for Reboot Team's Lime Rock Park. Has much deeper, saturated colors for the grass and trees. You do not need to use the two together. If you have a track config you like, you can just use the skin if you like the new textures. If you prefer the original trees, but want seasonal adjustments, you can just use the track config. Make sure to do a proper backup before extracting.

Oh, c'mon. if so, maybe it's really minimally larger than in real life. do we really want to discuss a few millimeters about a mod that is already four years old? and now someone suddenly noticed that the mod is marginally larger than the real car? I don't want to know how many mods are installed in everyone AC who probably have even bigger differences in masses from their real counterparts. I think we can live with this small difference quite well, after a lot of people have been doing their rounds in AC with this Aston for four years now.😅
I don't think i will change the size on this mod. I just added some little extra optical cosmetics and fixed the dash camera, because the download link was broken in our forum, so i just reuploaded it.

Been reading this thread almost daily for some years now and finally wanted to log in primarily to say THANK YOU to all of you for your work.
I'm not much of a modder myself, I can do a couple of things inside CM and I can copy lines inside of config files but if I can I'll try and help out.

i was messing with this model a while back when the skinpack released on RaceDepartment. great car and i look forward to any updates. if possible can the rear screen decal texture be fixed so its visible from the inside and can all 3 wipers be made to work. i did get the front 2 working but its not my forte.
