Hello. Is there any modern and quality version of the Camaro gt3 mod?(CSP features,wiper animations,...) In this forum there are links to some older version,but they are broken links.
I have one of an imsa pack that came the corvette c8 gt3 if its valid for you too

Dropped to AC, once again.

Dude just joking but I was wondering why everyone do and do and do the same mods again and again and again.
I think I have three if not four rs01 in my CM...
I have other cars repeated a thousand times, the same car and all different, and all with the most realistic physics, also different.
 
Bit of a random question, but: Does the Porsche Mission R exist with a proper interior? The exmods one is a bit half a**ed inside.
AFAIK, and have been able to find, the exmods version is the only one. The fizix and sfx are a bit half a**sd as well. There's another mis-labelled Mission E out there, with a nicer model, and what seems to be a fizix and sfx transplant from a 918 donor. 9k RPM ICE :dunce:
 
i'd say it's because encrypted (can you run CM Showroom for the car without seeing the blue crystal thingies?)
But then again, that pantera (by Pessio ) is not encrypted (at least not the 2 versions i have here)...


i just have the weirdest thing myself while making some extra skins for that mission R asked about earlier ...
all of a sudden previews I make are showing no car at all (just the studio and shadow) !

edit: restarting CM solved this too ... fiew!

@Berganzio the error message is not related to the previews. The folder name has "_bop" appended, which is likely the reason for AC not being able to find the kn5 (as stated in the error message). Did you just rename the folder or did you create it as a tune via Car Tuner?

It is the auriel 90 from VRC I just dropped in 'cars' as every other mod...I noticed also 2007 and 2009 F1 by Luca ponz have the same problem. I deleted them, redownload the files, dropped in cars folder, drive, error. I don't even tried to update the previews this time...what's happening?!

You need the non-BOP version installed as well since the BOP version references the models inside the data.acd/lods.ini:

I have it in fact. I redownload the mod copy pasted just the bop and then it worked. Unfortunately still 2007 2009 F1 don't work. Maybe is the file? Boh..
 
thanks @Pyyer like always outstanding job! i want to report a little problem: in every lap there is a frame rate decrease exactly 15 meters before the finish line...maybe there is some graphic element not optimized that cause it? this happen to me only with our extension, please have a look..

A quick one: Do you have any good TV Cameras (not CamTool but CamTool style-ish) except the ones in it?
Not really a camera specialist... Some people create them a lot better than me!
Maybe @racealot, @CrisT86 and @DaBaeda can help you on this? (EDIT : sorry I didn't see some were already posted, thanks for these 🙂 )

After flying around the track using the F7 cam a bit, I think the grand stands might be the reason for the fps drop; standing behind the grand stands looking at the water gives me 220 fps, turning towards the grandstands reduces the fps to around 110.

Crowd SFX works best in F3 camera replay mode

To turn off any of the crowd SFX and/or Live displays open the ext_config.ini file (in extension folder of track) using notepad or similar and change the ACTIVE = 1 to ACTIVE = 0

Something different, only nitpicking, but you should put at least this from mine into your config:

DESCRIPTION= fixes for bad transparencies

It corrects this:

Small tweaks to a car I couldn't bring myself to delete in The Great Purge Of 2022™ because it's just such damn fun in spec races.
Will install as a new car.
@El Locho - if you could please work your wiper magic it'd be very much appreciated.

New driver, new shifting and timing, new driver kit, new LODs, switchgear illuminated, basic shader tweaks, steer ratio fixed, UI updated, brand & badge updated, rear lights tweaked, emissive hazards added, headlights de-nuked, sidelights added, shaking exhaust added, duplicate skins removed, car history added.

Feel free to fix/update/whatever.

I made some changes to the track:

fixed road physics, there were too many bumps;
added two extra layouts;
added AI lines to both layouts;
updated UI.

Nice update! But as in original 2.1 release - grass is too bright, I think.

Good afternoon all.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem it's just after the start line on Fat alfies Feldbergring apparently it's something to do with CSP I'm running 1.79 preview 5.

This car always intrigued me, it's got PCars SMS branding (zipanol eggmelt etc)
But I have never seen it in PCars 1 or 2.

It is indeed a very fun car although it runs pretty much the abarth 500 physics so should be, and i imagine in real life it drives about the same if not the same chassis etc anyway.

The street version is very understeery so still with slick tires and harder front springs the punto has that oversteery behaviour a little bit
