He didn't used to get any hate whilst he was here and producing his tracks, and he is happy and well over on the other place doing the same thing for largely the same people as here.
I guess the other group you talk of don't try to shut down Assettoland.
Its hypocrisy at the end of the day.
Assettoland and EASY do the same thing, yet he tries to close them down.
A burglar who snitches on another burglar the agenda is so they have no competition, rather than being a good citizen right?

I'll be honest I use some of his updates as they do add some stuff that can be missing.
Like you say, both Easy and Assettoland do the same thing, as do many other smaller sites. In closing down Assettoland, Easy is trying to eliminate the competition so that more people have to visit his site and use his Sharemods links. For me, the difference is that at least Assettoland credit the mod's original authors, dont add skins from RD (and again, not giving credit to the original authors), don't add their names to the UI file and don't stick their 'approved' stamp all over everything.

Thank You.

Hello, I have tried it and I can assure you that it is a great job, unfortunately (and I am very sorry to tell you this) as usual these fantastic tracks have very few pit boxes that can make it possible to organise an online rally with more than 20 drivers in a single server (something that often happens in communities that organise these types of races
Sometimes it is the track itself that kinda forces you to use a certain number of pit boxes. Try to add more pit boxes to my recently released Tony Rust. There is no space because of the pit lane length in neither of the layouts. Hope you understand the limitations. SRA community split its competitors into divisions and this is always a solution

That's true, he only started getting hate after he shut down Assland a couple of times lol. The other group I talk of don't remove ripped off tracks when asked to by the owner of the original.
As for Assettoland, the only reason i see EASY shut them down is so he could rip their site off and create his own repository for his approved mods.

He is talking about Legion aka God.
Because he did feature a fat Alfie track that someone rebranded.

Some of your VAOs are already available in the official repo:

Not the same as on Github appears to be 3y old VAO and seems to have different mb sizes then from @ninezeroniner VAO downloads.
Further, at some circuits he has also included objects VAO specific.

I always laugh when Assettoland add credits and get it so badly wrong. I made a skin for a car that was added and was credited as the mod author 😁
But the difference is they will remove a mod or change things if you contact them. Unlike EASY who either ignores you completely or bans you from his site!!

And don't forget to make a special livery with "APPROVED" all over the car as well.
I do kinda wonder why EASY gets all the hate here while a certain other modding group that is many but are one gets off scott free when actually they aren't really any different (FAT-Alfie's Thomson Road for example)
Anyway it is what it is I suppose. 🤷‍♂️
Hate...c'mon.
Can you really hate a grown-up man invested 24/7 in harvesting easy nickels for smuggling other people's Assetto Corsa cars?
He's only strenght is hiding behind a keyboard. That's why real life is -so- good.

I don't hate him at all. In fact he's my best friend - nah only kidding. I got banned by him after I asked him nicely to remove a mod that had some of my skins in but then I might have also called him a penis lol

Thank You.

Exhausts are also see through from the back if you missed it and I think a few other parts too are see through, can't remember what bits with it being encrypted I can't fix it myself!

Hello again, I'm afraid keeping up with this thread has become too much of a time sink for me but I am amazed at some of the awesome content still being pumped out for this game.

I have come to ask about the CM feature to update all the car previews, after doing so I have a bunch of cars with the encrypted blue triangles all over them as previews. Is there an easy way to revert this without re-downloading cars, assuming I can remember their source or find them?

Also, I finally got around to the Dirt Rally conversion of Col De Turini, let me know how your FPS goes in case I need to make a potato tree version.

That Col De Turini is amazing desipite the tree in the middle of the track.
Question: isn't possible to convert a dirt Rally 2.0 stages?

Someone able to solve this??? Car is cool...

Just curious who is easy?

OK so I have this Reiza Opala mod which i actually think is a lot of fun.
It can be found here, out of the box feels nice.

It had the classic Reiza colour block skins, so here is some proper ones.
Just unzip and add to cars skins folder to overwrite the old ones.

Then as I am really enjoying some copa classic mods I got from first studio racing, I went to find the Reiza Puma GTE.
Didn't like how it drove personally, so I made it at least feel OK to me and plonked an engine in it to run with some of the other cops classic cars like the Passat and Gol.
Plus few new skins.
Its not amazeballs compared to others stuff, but at least i found it fun to sling around so thought I'd share it here, feel free to use bin or tell me I am a useless horrible person and stick me on the bad mods list.

But yes, give it a go.
Interesting cars these in race guise. Rear engine as based on VW kharman Ghia.

Yeah, I wasn't implying you as the "you" in my post, I was generalizing
I thought about making an extra Alfa SZ skin branded "A.ssetto C.orsa T.otal K.nob" so it's a common thing. ;)

@safi hellie
Thanks, fun stuff.
(and I love that signature of yours)

It's actually worse than that sig as I also still use rfactor 1 a lot, what 17 odd years old? On an RTX 3070 purchased during the great GPU swindle..... Sheesh, my RTX has depreciated quicker than a brand new Jaguar.
Truth is AC, IMO, is still the best out there.

Thank you. In acceleration, with 100% turbo, the car spins...
You have to play with the accelerator pedal travel. The more you turn the steering wheel, the less you have to step on the accelerator. Only use 100% when the car is completely straight. If you are not used to the traction control at 1.
When you enter a curve, don't start accelerating until you've passed the apex of the curve. When you drive a porsche you have to ease off the throttle to get into the corner well.

Real Early 1990s F1-spec TV cameras for Terra21’s ‘montreal’ track.
The 1991 Canadian Grand Prix was used as the visual reference.

This does not overwrite existing cameras.

The 2022 extension from @Pyyer was used in the video. I hope he can make 1990s-based versions of his relative extensions someday too! :D

The car doesn't stand straight, it feels like driving on ice. I tried to change the values in <electronics.ini> and <traction control.lut> but absolutely nothing changes, the TC never works ...
