My brother had an issue loading the Riley & Scott earlier and fixed the issue by updating his CSP to the latest version in Content Manager. Not sure if this will help but may solve the problem.
you were right. Never had to update CSP till now, thanks a lot.

Big thanks for lods. Lods works fine in game.
I thought this would solve my problem, but not... I have problem with Supercars. Game works in stable 110-120 fps, but once in a while drops to 30-40 for i think 0.5sec-1sec. It occurs only with V8 supercars on every tracks, i have. Any ideas?
This could be related to the mods colliders. They use a lot of triangles. Temporarily change the collider.kn5 for the cars with one from a kunos car of similar size and then try again. Backup your original files and if this works, only see it as a temporary fix as they will not match the car exactly, but it will eliminate if they are the cause of your problem.

Hello everyone! Quick question: is there a way to add rain tyres to a car without messing around with the data.acd file?

Making a replica of every kunos car to support the tyres while keeping the original for online driving seems unpractical...

Anything is possible and all fixes are worth trying. I have the latest preview cause I'm signed up to the patreon and for once I've had no problems. But everyone's setups are so different that it could be anything.

@devikse glad to see you sorted your problem out. Didn't even think about it being csp related because I always just assume everyone is on the latest version (public or preview)

Feeder series car WIP

I've based on the real Tatuus T-021 and the Formula IR04. The below images are in WIP and I plan to finish this car later this month (if I don't have any setback)

@MrB00 I appreciate you trying to help me out too man. I didn't much of the CSP because none of my other mods required an update for it. I see now that wasn't very smart.

No problem man, it's all good. Sometimes certain mods will require the latest version due to physics updates or whatever but sometimes the latest versions cause other problems. It's a bit of back and forth but glad you are sorted now.

Have fun

quick question for anyone, im doing some physics work atm, the car feels too planted, what would be the best way to introduce a bit of friskyness?

Lime Rock Mountain

CSP is required

Lime Rock Mountain v1.04
Updated link in original post with a new version. Only one real significant change. I replaced one of the trees with a new tree object. I think it's better, but you'd better hold on to your existing version for awhile just in case you don't like it. I'm hoping to do the same thing to another tree eventually, but that will be a huge undertaking so it's probably a winter project. Some other little tweaks here and there that don't need mentioning.

EDIT: Heard some suggestions that I should darken the trees. On my system they look fine, but if you prefer darker trees, copy\paste the code below to anywhere in the ext_config file. You can play with the numbers to get something more to your liking.

[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
ACTIVE = 1
MATERIALS = TREE16, TREE17, TREE_A, TREE_B, TREE_C, TREE_D, TREE09, TREE05, TREELRGXXX, TREELRGA
PROP_... = ksAmbient, 0.28
PROP_... = ksDiffuse, 0.28

[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
ACTIVE = 1
MATERIALS = TREE_E
PROP_... = ksAmbient, 0.31
PROP_... = ksDiffuse, 0.24

Something's up with the Courage C36 just released... I have put several hundred km in at Deutschlandring and a few others, but this car persists in showing no mileage on it at all. An easy fix perhaps?

EDIT: I also note that the laps put in at Deutschlandring and Sebring (RT) in that car don't show as accumulating on the track either... (anything to do with VR?)

EDIT2: The folder name does not match the .kn5 name... is that it? I'll test that soon...

EDIT3: Yup. Renamed folder to match the .kn5... that fixed it. Had to fix the sound after that.

Just released the latest version of my reality Reshade suite available now on Racedepartment

Changelog: the 2 new TV POD Sunny have now been renamed in Paul Ricard and Red Bull Ring as the differences in cameras were given from the specific scenario weather of those GPs.
Adjusted white balance in pure config settings
Adjusted for the same TV broadcast and Filmic Broadcast

Here is a comparison screenshots between my Reshade and real life

Maybe the cars name folder is big or includes capital letters? (maybe you know that already).

Gorjanci Hillclimb - rain and grass and vao and so on...

Track can be found at https://assettorallygrb.wixsite.com/rallygrb/home - credit goes as always to the creators / converters.
Just what I did for personal use to make a bit nicer, would be happy if it is useful for others as well.

Notice: Put a "highlands3.dds" file into the extension folder with the config.ini. for the grassFX.
UPDATED:
  • New folder structure: You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

  • No need for "highlands3.dds" file inside the extension folder.

  • If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

If the folder structure and grassFX method works for those interested, I will keep future posts like that and slowly update the ones I posted before.

Maybe with the 100th update you could introduce a reshade setting which could be used for driving and not only for watching replays.

Again - track already had an extension but no rain so you can try and replace it with my version.

Val D'Anapo-Sortino Hillclimb Sicily - rain and and vao and so on...

Notice: I did not alter the grass on this one so no need for the "highlands.dds" file

This one already had an extension but the rain did not work so here is my attempt.
