Sorry for the off-topic but has anyone encountered any problems with sharemods? Since yesterday, every time I open a link on any browser (Chrome, Edge or Firefox), the page is blocked (I can't scroll for example) and if I press the download button, pop-ups or blank pages open repeatedly. (There are no viruses on my pc and I use a plugin to block popups/advertisements). As already mentioned, this all started yesterday for no reason :confused:

they are currently having a stroke, mods submitted last 20 days were erased from their server.....
 
Small update to my KS Vallelunga ext_config\track skin mod. Update improves (at least I think so) the color and color depth of the grass and trees. Also tried to make a better color match of the hillside texture just off the track with the grass around the track. Still needs some work, but better than the original that was a little too blue and didn't seem to fit the look I was trying to achieve.

As with the last version, the two skins only differ in how dark the trees and grass are. Everything else is unchanged. Make sure to backup any existing ext_config you may have so you can restore it if you don't like the mod.

Hi mate, what´s the difference between both cm_skins provided in your package? Which one should be used?
 
Did anyone try the recent 1.1 update of the msf formula hybrid f75? How is it? Unfortunately I cannot try it at the moment as I am moving home and don't have the opportunity to test it myself but I am curious
 
Followed your tuto, fonts look nicer than the original, but the center field has no readout ?
Any ideas ?
Edit: I tried both the first and the adjusted digital_instruments.ini (I see there are differences in fonts between both), but both gave me the same issue.

It can't work, because the "CPMono_v07 Plain.png" file for the fonts folder is missing in the downloads of @GN_Bullit. There is only the "CPMono_v07 Plain.txt" file.

@Fanapryde and @Frank25, sorry, my mistake. Find attached .png font file. Add it to assettocorsa\content\fonts. Do not forget to install the font (the .otf) in your computer.

WIP, This is my first MOD, the modeling is all done by myself, it's really not easy to learn while doing, and finally enter the game :)

Nice to see this, I got the model for Ouga from someone here but didn't have time to really work on it, especially it is difficult to make the model animation to mimic the TV animation to transform.
 
Small update to my Sergio Loro Sandevoerde track skins\ext_config mod. Mod is designed to work with CSP\Sol\Pure. If you use the base game, this probably won't work\look right.

Sergio Loro's Sandevoerde mod

-- Adjusted the grassfx to fix grass spawning on concrete kerbs and sand areas. Not sure how I missed that before.
-- Small tweaks to the grass colors on the skins.
-- Added water shader for the lake in the center of the track.

For those not familiar with past versions, couple of notes.
-- If you don't like the pa announcer, open up the ext_config and set the pa announcer section to ACTIVE = 0 to disable it.
-- The two mask skins slightly alter the brightness of the grass skins. The 60's mask makes the grass darker. The 70's mask makes the grass lighter.
-- The skins are labeled by which version of the track they go with. The Universal skin works well with both if you don't feel like changing skins often. I like changing up the look every now and then.
-- If you have a previous version of the mod, delete any existing skins folders first just to be safe. Don't worry about the extension folder. Just overwrite anything it asks you to overwrite. If you've never used the mod before, backup the extension folder for safe keeping.

Weird, right? are his mods available anywhere else?
Just became a member here :-). I think I need to explain my 'disappearance'. My uploadsite was hacked and contents deleted which made all links void. I didn't have the time, nor the mindset at the time tbh, to re-upload all my edits and redo all links. I might do so in the future but I'm still contemplating about starting my own fb-page. Until then nothing will happen, besides posting new edits at "Assetto Corsa Tuned Mods & 4K Photos".

I can't remember ever responding to you and as you have 3 posts, 2 of which are on this page, I'm guessing you have come back with a different user name?
 
Wondering if there are any track VAO experts here. I'm noticing on a lot of the tracks (especially the stock ones) that the shadow areas amongst the trees are entirely too dark. They look solid black instead or a transparent black that still shows some tree detail like a real shadow would look. Is there something in the process of making a VAO that allows you to control how dark those shadow areas are so I could try to make them more realistic?

Nevermind. Think I got it worked out. Needed to do a sync-normals-partially argument on the kstree shader with a value of around 0.375. Looks so much better than the stock CSP VAO. No more overly dark shadow areas. Now I just have to go through all my tracks and create new VAOs for the tracks that are too dark.

Oh man, I'm sorry you didn't report the update in time... I visited the Hernad Valley and Kéked village in the summer and added visuals to the course with more trees, bushes, flowers and a fence on the right going down the hill. And in the hairpin bend, the old asphalt is now dusty, more real. It's okay, this track enjoyable, thanks! :)
 
I'm not yet there with car conversion, but check this first attempt and tell me what should I improve on the car (apart the LCD not working)
By LCD - are you referring to the Dash of the car?
From outside - looking at another car approaching - the 458 is invisible and you only see the driver until it gets closer and pops into existence - lods issue?. Apologies if that's what you meant by LCD.

How do you fix the livery? Do you just edit the livery skin or you redo the AO?

This was the post i responded to Erik. My point being you closed up shop due to people ripping your rips. So I stand by what i said originally then. You don't scratch make your mods, neither do I.
But i also actively want people to do stuff with them, i am just getting stuff in the game from that point onwards i hope they get messed with.
I find it weird when people who convert or add bits to other rips or kunos stuff and get angry when others do the same to 'their' rips or modification's.
Anyway, welcome back.

Hi, i have updated each livery skins ( colors, sometimes the design a little bit when its necessary and logos )
For the AO, i have updated each skins AO with content manager ( especially the w13 AO was bugged on the rear wing )

BTW i really liked some of the stuff you were doing, i hope you get the inspiration to come back to it.
 
Forgot to include these in the update from last night. Two additional track cams for the 60's versions of Sandevoerde. 70's cams will come soon. If you have or made additional cams for yourself, you will need to rename these so you don't overwrite anything. If anyone knows of any other cams for Sandevoerde that are out there some where, please share a link. I love having as many cams for a track as I can get.
