Hi Every body,

Been gone a long while, recovering from bladder cancer and surgery. I'm happy to say after the chemo treatments I'm cancer free :-)

I'm not quite up to sim racing yet as my insides are still pretty delicate, no heavy lifting or straining for a while yet. So It will be a while B4 I get back to making AI lines and track limits.

If my sudden departure left anybody waiting for any AI I was supposed to make, I apologize.

I'm still dealing with some heavy family issues as well, which doesn't promote healing very quickly.

I hope y'all are well. I'll be around.
Sorry to hear about all you've been through recently LiquidSkyMan, but very happy to hear that you're 'cancer free' now. I'm wishing you well through the rest of your recovery.

Wow sir, modding be damned, glad to hear you're on the mend.

With regards to the error, what's the file you're trying to install and where from? Is that the 'Neva Ring' update? If so, looks like the original file was moved for some reason (original Race department link doesn't work) - suggest deleting the track from the tracks folder and reinstalling latest version anew from: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/neva-ring.42672/
Thanks for the tip, and yes it was the Neva Ring

take care,
LSM

Hey brother,

That sounds like a rough journey you had to go through! Glad to read you beat that SOB! :)
I hope everything works out well for you and your family.

p.s. people who battle cancer never have to apologize... 😉

Glad you made it through and welcome back. Strongz and a speedy recovery for you.

Amazing work of yours man. I am a fanatic of the 24 Hours and the mid-late 90s revival era of Le Mans is only second to me after the two Golden Eras of the 60s and 80s. It's been a while, as a guy which collabs as well to recreate those protos and GT1s from these years and I cannot help myself but bow down to your work... there was around a private mod of the TWR-Porsche from LM '98 but honestly THIS is the actual beast that shocked the Endurance world winning two times with an almost 10 years-old chassis and an "old" Flat 6 Turbo bought from Zuffenhausen... able even to put to shame the brand new Works 911 GT1 and the unlucky EVO-97 (not to mention the various contenders such as the brand new McLaren F1 GTR-LT, Nissan,
R390, Courage, Ferrari privatees and so on...). Proud to be born in 1997, what a year for motorsport! ;)

BTW, even if I'm sure you will keep it up with your magnificent work and surely you have some ideas to what recreate now for AC between the remaining protos, I'd really suggest you to recreate once for all the amazing 333SP J-B long tail, maybe in the 1998 version with the two separated "pontoons" which made her slightly faster and let me say it - beauty AF especially in that Marlboro livery... and aside my personal tastes, I think, even if the 333SP LM of these years has already been recreated, that was a wonderful one-off which looked way cooler and that catched the attention of the public way more rather then the other SPs. And so I think it'd happen for AC. I'd really love it and as I just said, everyone as well... ;) Hope you will listen to me, but in any case if you will keep up this magnificent work of yours, it will be out someday, I'm counting on you, and whatever will be the next one, good luck and good work, I stongly support your receations as accurate as full of passion.

Dearly, and with all my admiration
- "Jo" Lothar Grandicelli
some good news: We do have the full 2000 Le mans grid coming up. Only 1 car is missing and that's the debora as there is nothing to go about. You can use VRCs Panoz for some of the 2000 cars and I'd recommend @DavidDGA skins aswell for that era. the 333 SP you're talking about we have them indeed aswell Both the 1998 and 1999. I've also created grids based on the games aswell with the GT2s from 1998 and the GT1s of 1998 aswell as LMP900 from 1999. - the PS2/PC aswell as the PS1/PC version.
For those Le Mans lovers, I believe we need some other tracks for AC, to revive the good memories. To make a double with the wonderful work being done in re-editing the 90´s and early 00' LMPs for AC.

Who remember here of Antares or Arnage?

I was struggling to find a video of that track. But I found!!!

As mentioned above i've created the grids for them but you will need to wait as most of the other cars are currently private and not finished yet e.g. some of the riley and scott MK III. For the PS2 version the Cadillac NorthStar is pubicly Released aswell as the WSC-95 so you can add them The main cars that is missing is mostly the Oreca Vipers of 1998.

edit: the marcos, Callaway and the Mustang is missing aswell from the PS1 and the callaway and the marcos is missing on PS2. (the porsche and the vipers are available aswell as the corvettes for LM 2000)

Good to have you back LSM... Take it easy for the time being until the body is fully recovered from that horrendous therapy... In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the upcoming F1 @ COTA.

Ronde Cevenole Rally France - rain and grass and vao and so on...

Track can be found here: https://assettorallygrb.wixsite.com/rallygrb/copia-di-spain-portugal

8 kilometers of twisty mountain road. Vegetation is not perfect but one should focus on the tight corners anyway. Too much fun to just throw it in the bin. Comes with logo and coordinates as usual but I removed the gravel / dirt effect of the road.

  • You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

  • If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

Two different logos in the ui folder to chose from - the one named "logo.png" will appear in the loading screen.

Guys im working on my first car...
The model in the showroom is ok, in game the wheel positions are wrong.
I would like to adjust the front wheels further back.
I don't know which data to change - I'm browsing the contents of suspensions file, but to no sucess.
Does anyone know the solution? Thanks!

Greetings everyone,

This post is to share with you that I'll be trialing a new method of sharing AC mod-related content (eg. replay cams) via YouTube and Sharemods-com - as a means of reward for effort.

Note: reward/proceeds (if any) will be provided to @raceabit as a gift for his continued support and assistance (aside from monies earned doing chores, etc).

These are the first replay-cams that have been posted on YouTube (racealot-sim) channel with sharemod links. Further track info included within the video description:

1. Monza (various layouts) by CR Formula / Pyyer

2. Sebring 2021 (circuit_sebring2021) by MadBrain

3. ACC Hungaroring (ts_hungaroringaccv03) by Junshen Wu

Feedback welcome (positive or negative).
Cheers!

That's a great car. Owned two of them. My mid-life crisis :)

This is how I'd go about it:
In suspensions.ini, in [BASIC] edit the value for "wheelbase" till the wheel spacing matches the wheel-arch spacing.
Looking at the pic, maybe making the value around 0.1 (10cm) smaller would be in the ball park.
Then, in car.ini, in [BASIC] edit the 3rd value in GRAPHICS_OFFSET to move the body forward or backward.

Happy to help if you need it.

Thanks a lot mate, I got it now.
I've been waiting a long time for a professional modder to make this, but no one thought of this little Italian gem.
I made it for GTR2 a few years ago, now I'm taking it apart and trying to put it together like a "puzzle". The car works, you can race, but in the future I will have problems with the cockpit displays and the correct parameters. My knowledge is not enough. Ok, if you can help, thanks, I'll send you a test copy soon.
Best regards from Hungary! :)

Well, considering the Quaife R4 got converted from this game, it should be possible to convert tracks such as this one too surely.

Hi everyone I would like to ask you if anyone was able to recreate or convert this track from Total Immersion Racing which is called Springfield with 2 layouts (I have not found a similar circuit really exists so I think it is invented) if you want to take a look I leave the link of a YouTube video (Total Immersion Racing also exists on PC)

Link 1: Springfield

Link 2: Springfield Short

I am quite late to the party, but I'm currently in the process of converting the track as it is one of my favourite fictional tracks ever! It has been a nightmare so far as I am not very experienced in trackbuilding and maya, and it will take some time.

I've had a problem with the Pyyer 24h extension since the Nordschleife was updated a few days ago. Since then, buildings on the start destination are no longer displayed. The problem is on two different computers. Does anybody have the same Problem

You're awesome mate...I'm going to stop my car right now and can't wait for your work. Thank you a thousand times!!!
Reassure me please, your car doesn't require CSP... if it does, I won't be able to use it - this CSP thing is terrible, many people can't use it, because of a weak, old PC, or for other reasons...

Hi
Looking for a tutorial of sorts on how to create TV camera replays (no camtool).
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thx in advance
I learnt from watching YouTube videos. They're not difficult to do, but it'll take practice to make them look good.
