I hope you might be able to help. I do not have the tickbox "use csp showroom" in my CM. I can either use the standard showroom or the CM showroom. I would really like to have the option to see CSP related changes to the cars in showroom.

Correct me if im wrong - but in regards to the balancing of the VRC touring cars and the p3dm cars, could you not just adjust the AI file in the data folder? Could you not just increase the [ULTRA_GRIP] value? This would make the AI have more cornering grip - surely? Then it would just be a matter of balancing the AI to your skill levels now that the AI are playing better with one another. I have also, as mentioned by other members altered the ride height of the p3dm cars, which does help alot. But would that be a quick and easy fix to speed up the VRC AI?
I do not use CM and have not really clue of data modding, so i just proposed the "easy way" for me.

You started reworking those GTR2 models recently? Good, they badly needed a rework eventually since they all look so dated from decades ago.

Isn't it that good for multiclass racing, because the AI isn't able to overtake slower cars properly?
And what are the AI problems in long enduros?

How many AI cars do you use in your races? I can imagine that it takes a lot of performance if all other drivers use the same physics as the player.

Yeah, it's an issue with cars with big speed differences. 10-20mph difference on a straight is fine, but where there bigger differences or they catch the cars in a corner, they will make poor decisions. As mentioned above they get stuck when there's an object blocking the track too and they also have some issues with fuel calculation for races of more than an hour, though it's likely this is something that is fixable with a little work.

This is a thing AMS2 is great at BTW, multiclass.

With regards to performance, I find it surprisingly good. You'll have read about Content Manager and 'CSP' (Custom Shader Patch) and this gives you more options than you'll ever see or need for improvements, eye candy but also optimisation and rendering improvements. CPU is the more important thing to me for running decent sized packs.

For context, I use a single 4k screen with a 2060S and a 5600X and can easily run 30 cars at 90fps of stock Kunos-made content. Again, not all mods will be as optimised, but Content Manager (there it is again) has a LoD generator which is a godsend for making unoptimised cars usable for racing!

thanx, but this did not work for me. I was already on a later version, so I downgraded to the one you suggested. I restarted CM and I still do not have the option for CSP Showroom :-)
How weird mate,, this is the version in have (0.8.2439.39630 (x86).
Must be another tab with in content,, Did you active the dev tab on the about screen ,, not sure if that's it.

BTW, what sort of cars/racing are you most interested in?
 
Question for guys who tinker with the car's data files. What file should I be looking at to try and get specific cars to have better ai braking? I'm noticing as I play around with ai lines that some cars brake really weird especially on sharp slow turns. They will get the the turn, basically come to a stop and then make the turn, while others cars will glide nicely to the turn and through it without stopping first.

I'm working my way through the alms series on YouTube while building grids for my competition. Year 1999 and 2000 are quite well covered for skins (and almost for cars) so great work to all those making those skins! (Your alms/ac enthusiasm precedes mine, lucky me :)) I have filled in some gaps by adding the alms stickers to non-alms versions (and changing a few numberplates) as required.

So anyway, I love AC and all the great creators here. I once loved rFactor2 kinda like this, but ac has gone so far past that now! I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Peugeot905/rms/? stuff we see here. The b2k10s stand out (even though it's an ugly thang ;) Looks like it's from the 50s )! I have just started 2001 alms, so I'll catch up to you and your upcoming packs eventually. (I watched all this alms way back then btw, but not with AC in mind!) I hope that R&S MkIII from 2000 is still coming please.

I made up some skins for the 2000 R8 (which doesn't exist as a model, so ignore that big slab of ad real estate behind the front wheels!) for the vrc r8 that I'll put out soon as I clean em up. I need to find a model that I can hack that panel out to make the 2000 model. I tried blacking them out in the skin, but nope.)

Sorry, I didn't even see your post yesterday before posting mine. I was just thinking out loud, I'm sure that if I just increase that parameter it'll close up the grid. I'll give it a go, I know there aren't many that respond to ai.ini questions on here, I'll keep the originals just in case!

Hey Guys,

I have noticed on all my ppfilters my clouds look a bit blurry I have try to deinstall sol and even pure but nothing helped did you got any tips to fix that?
