anyone know of any 2022 Nissan Z or Supra GT500
mod? I'm sure I've seen a pic of a W.I.P. one at some point but can't find any details of one anymore.

Could you please finally fix lights on the NSX, so it can be used together with other mods?
 
hi gents,
about 'press T', do you know you can also set all the suspension points?
-first, make a copy of the .kn5 file
-go to CMshowroom
-click on the screen
-press T (haha...) point 1
-click on the car (right panel) point 2
-click on 'suspension' (right panel point 3
now you get this:

and you are able to move all the suspension attach points (including the caster)
-dont forget to click on the 'save moved points' button, point 4
if you are not happy with these new settings, just restore the .kn5 file you saved before
you can also move 'fuel tank' position, 'wings' and 'flames' by cliking the good button below 'Physics' chapter

Wouldn't you have to save (make a copy of) the data instead of the kn5? All these things that you are changing are found in the data folder or acd, not in the model itself.

He's right, you guys had much more cars then this. 2007 Mustang FR500 GT3, 2011 Marc Mustang GT3, 1998 Porsche 993 GT2, Callaway Corvette Z06-R GT3 etc. I even have some of your guys cars for a year and a half now.

BE_Modding's Belcar corvette had potential, but as you can see it's not finished yet nor will it ever be finished. I'm currently working on the european skins right now for legions corvette and will give you guys updates later on.

And for some reason someone removed the BE_Modding's name from the author, don't know why they did. I tried to make to skins for this thing due to request at racedepartment, but I can't the mapping on this car is a NIGHTMARE!

I see they shared this car, BUT. This is from NFS Shift 2 with belcar liveries not that there's anything wrong with that I skin cars that aren't actually the car all the time.

This really looks fantastic, glad to see TreeFX starting to take roots (pun definitely intended)

My only comment for Long Beach would be that the circuit in real life doesn’t have that many trees, since it’s right on the harbor there’s some palm trees but that’s about it. Granted it looks great in your video (and honestly I’m thinking maybe LBC should plant some more trees down there) but it feels a little too lush for Long Beach, especially along shoreline.

Hi everyone, does anyone have any custom GT3-car-AI-lines for rt_bathurst? I really enjoy racing at Mount Panorama but the AI is extremely slow through the esses and, as always, extremely rough when battling. I ll get rammed everytime i ll make a move through whole that section. Plus when battling it will hit the wall between turns 3-4 & 8-9 (the two fast left handers)

You don't really need to back up the entire .kn5 file, just suspensions.ini (you can also skip steps 2 and 3 by pressing 'U' ;) )

and while it is nice to have a visual showcase of what you can change, it is to be noted the positions you align the suspension in CM showroom might not be the same positions in game (i.e., inaccurate)

AC2 should only support one feature:

There’s surely no way that can be possible with a new game engine, even if Kunos wanted to implement it.

The thing is, was the base AC game engine and structure originally designed to easily facilitate external modding, or was it made that way, simply to make like easier for the devs themselves to work on the product, and modding just happened as a result?

it is always the latter, you create mods by following the same pipeline designed by the devs to create their content.

Depends if they want to make money or not, and i guess they do after the amount AC makes them.
It'll be what it is, whatever I'm not really fussed still plenty of life left in the old dogs yet.
If I were to speculate, they hire ilija, effectively buying him and in the process he has to stop the CSP stuff, they pull AC from steam and hope to get the AC base over to AC2.

We'll see what happens. One things for sure I reckon you could make a 'sim' which actually all you had to do was change the colour of trees or add grass FX or take cars and tracks from old games and see what they look like with shaders, it would make a fortune.

Funnly enough that's also what I speculated inside my head as well, just that I would resume the CSP stuff but instead make it open source rather than keeping it proprietarly semi-closed source like it currently is more or less making my own version of AC2, but I would call it 2.0 obviously to avoid conflicts with the proper one from Kunos if ever to be made.

There are two guys on RD whose Ai lines are not only faster, but somehow ai also drives more realistic. I downloaded and use all of them for years. First one is Max Kagan (did Bathurst gt3 and v8 supercar lines also):
