Felt the excellent F3 classic formula Junior DKW Mitter (Miker) needed some 2 stroke smoke for some more immersion.

Quick and dirty edit I made using Fuzo's trabant as a starting point, but copy this into extension folder for effect.

[PARTICLES_FX_EXHAUST_...]
POSITION = 0.50, 0.260, -0.330 ; self explanatory
DIRECTION = -1, 0.3, -1 ; self explanatory
COLOR = 0.75,0.8,3 ; RGB blend - 0,0,0 is black, 1,1,1 is white
LIFE = 1, 2 ; how long particles last in the air before disappearing
SPEED = 0.5, 1 ; how fast smoke particles fly from the exhaust
SPREAD = 0.25 ; initial spread of particles
STARTING_SIZE = 0.05 ; initial size of particles
SPAWN_OFFSET = 0.05 ; initial spawn point offset (length-wise)
INTENSITY = 0.35, 0.5 ; smoke intensity
TEMPERATURE_LAG = 1 ; engine heating up (1 to disable)
SPEED_THRESHOLD = 60, 100 ; speed at which the smoke disappears

Could you share your extension folder, because there is none in the cars file.

We have been asking our testers to drive the cars on our GT4 Time attack Server , and collected datas though Excel sheets ! After some weeks of testing and modifying , We ended up with what we think BOP ready for the following cars :
• Audi R8 GT4
• Camaro GT4
• Panoz GT4
• Saleen GT4
• SIN R1 GT4
• Supra GT4

For the rest of the cars , we believe , we would still need test and modifications to bring to get them on same BoP stage , therefore , we are expecting to be close to each other but not enough ^^ This is Where , We would need you to make your best lap time possible on our Test SERVER :

WE would like to invite you to participate to our TIME ATTACK EVENT on this server for the next 2 weeks , the people who are setting the best lap time per car will get access to our NEW BMW M4 G82 GT4 in beta stage!!! Thanks very much for these, they're brilliant to use in a series race. The difficulty is picking which one to actually drive..!
For some reason, when setting up a race and using 'GT4' as a filter in CM, the Supra (edit: plus the Camaro) doesn't get picked up and has to be added manually. It has 'GT4' in its name and a 'GT4' tag, so no idea why. Any ideas?

Try to search with " ", like "GT4". Should work.

Great as usual. THANK YOU

I made a first race @Assen Autosport, most of the grid was very tight.

However 2 Supras was about 2 sec slower than the rest of the field. It`s strange because you have the Toyota on the already BOPed list

Have u tried others tracks , I would rely only on Kunos to be honest

Really strange. No so far only tt_Assen
Will give a feedback if made another tests.

Would anybody here have a guide or Advice for converting GTR2 cars into AC? I'd really like to start doing car conversions of my own. Any help would be great.

Not much of one myself, but I heard somewhere that GTR2 conversions are hard due to 3Dsim not reading some of the files or something like that.

Thanks as always for these. I've been waiting for this update for so long because the GT4's are pretty much the only modern cars I race a lot in AC. One question though, why does the front grille in your pictures of the BMW look different than what I see on the one I downloaded?

I see they still included a butchered version of my Castrol skin with the gold headlights and wheels. I have no idea who or why they changed the lights and wheels, but the car is supposed to look like this.

This is interesting. when I tested the M4 at Imola, max speed at the end of the straight was not more than 220 kph, but when testing the R8, it was 245 kph and was at least 6+ seconds faster around the track. Could this have to do with updating the mod as opposed to a clean fresh install? Please advise...Thanks!

ALWAYS do a clean installation, cars and tracks.
 
guys what do i miss not using the Formula Hybrid 2023 CSP version? I don`t care about rain physics. Or is there more i miss physics wise?

Because i am on CSP 1.79p5 and too lazy too tweak a newer one again :(

About “ spirit of speed” tracks isn’t not a good idea to give the tracks some extra roaring 20’s touch, like what you see at this track skin mod https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/dirty-old-town.201424/

I did try this for highlands but with no effects, maybe if you like it, you as an experienced modder can succeed were I did fail. Or somebody can teach me how, because I think its does have a great effect for 1923 racing.

I made a second race @Karlskoga. I believe due the track characteristics the times was spread up to 4s but there was no special Supra "problems" Both landed in midfield.

So i think sometimes the BOP is depending on car - track characteristics. And this it absolutely not bad. Just realistic.

EDIT: Just made a second ona @Assen This time everything was ok. All cars within 2sec.

So yesterday was a "accident" sorry i`ve reported that.
