That skins are mine, Why the hell you stole them to me??? They are upload to Racedepartment wanker, so dont say that you did that. Hasta la polla de argentinos robando mods

good morning to everybody.
I was watching fox sport and it occurred to me to take a horrible mod and convert it to electric, in addition to retouching aero data and others that were very simple.
THE MOD IS FROM THE PEOPLE OF RW OR THEY MODIFIED IT ALSO.
It is a horrible mod, with horrible instruments and interiors, that has a rally copilot in the race (I have no knowledge to modify the 3D) but I entertained doing it and I share it with you in case anyone has the intention to prove it or modify it.

If someone want their ac mod not to be "taken by someone", he shouldnt upload it anywhere

From the beginning, ac is open sourced .

that's not how the world work mate, by means if somebody wanna use livery or car mod to other form at least they SHOULD ask permissions. This is the common manner or ethic on modding, my livery been shared on Automobilista cause the modder use AC car as based and he ask me permission and I said ok. While my skin went to GTA 5 and Real Racing 3 I report that cause he not ask my permission, while my Hub Auto on 488 Light config I not do anything cause why? cause in future I'll use that mod and I actually helped with this one.

Also Sandbox =/= with Open Sourced, you still need buy the game and dlc unless you pirate this one

Doesn't it become exhausting, worrying about who is using what and who got permission when and how? I’m just asking, because it seems like unless you have an Excel spreadsheet and a lot of free time, trying to somehow police your publicly-available work is impossible. Even the major software publishers can only keep their games un-cracked for a few days.

That’s pretty much how the world works.

Did you ask permission of any of companies to use their logo on your livery ?

I dont think so...

I just keep it easy, if I saw it on google images (the worse one you can get) when I search some idea for livery so I'll report it. Ask permission? easy just PM me on RD since there I put all my work.

It's about appreciation and how long you make it man, how hard you ask the thing. If you ask me ask any companies, sometimes yes and usually not. If you ask me, if we need ask them? yes but take it easy if they provide svg file or logo from their official web like Eibach then it's cool.

I not that person too who said we must go to official or scratch or something like that (I still looking ripping off car mod too) but again my point from start is asking permission with fellow modder just how hard is that.

I agree it feels nice when people ask you, and say thank you for the work. Really aweosme and kind of inspiration for future projects.

But internet is a hard thing, part of people will not ask anything

Yeah, but one thing is get the mod taken and other say that him do the Jaguar iPace eTrophy mod when is the mod of AssettoLand with my skins. So he didnt do something. In other words, that guy is a ****ing wanker

Hey to all

Just saw that Jaguar P8 mod in electric version.
The original by rallyworld (sorry:D) is horrible (not just the skins and the interior but also the sound or the topspeed).

I tried to fix some things, here a list:

-changed sound (now V8 from C7 Stingray, it is maybe the closest to the original Jaguars one)

-deleted the co-driver (now its more a race than a rally car:))

-changed topspeed (now like the original 321 km/h)

-changed hp (now 600hp, for real!)

-added turbo (real Project 8 has compressor, the effect is nearly the same in AC)

-changed gear-setup (now it's way more realistic, but it still needs some work:P)

Credits: RallyWorld, Assettoland

Just in case you're interested, here the link:

Downlad

@Chiwi: these skins on the electric one, did you made these? Couse they're really good!
If so, could you eventually make the original Jaguar-skins orange and blue too?

You still have the problem with this car that I couldn't solve (waaay back in this thread somewhere) - and that is the fact the rim disappears when blurred - all you see is brake disc and caliper. The original RW version is fine but I couldn't replicate it.

have you checked the alpha channel level of transparency on the texture ? (compare the shade of grey with a working rim texture of another car) ...if it is a png, than make it dds dxt5 and make yourself an alpha channel... be also sure that those black triangles on the rim are not painted black on the alpha channel.
compare also the blurredobjets.ini file and the material and object proprieties with another car.
It has to be one of those things.
Sadly I have no time to check it, but if you follow the steps above, I am sure you will find the problem.

(if none of the above steps help, than simply remove the blurred rim and make it spin naturally ... better than a fully transparent rim :P )

Good Luck!

the engine is already blowing itself up is this a bug or just British engineering?

The Jaguar is my first real modification, so I don't know much about modding, sadly...:sly:
But I'll start to learn more about it

Thanks for the help, appreciate it:cheers:

Random ACC bashing aside R3E Is a very good sim but Is very.limited to daylight Sunny days driving while ACC has a deeper phisics of the cars and tracks, day-night cycle and an Amazing simulation of wet tracks
In addiction R3E Is a very costy game cause It has Just a couple of free Cars and tracks, no modding and all DLCs cost a lot and contents can overlap so you could end to pay twice some tracks
They are two different beasts and One can enjoy both without bashing One of the two

Used to be true but not really anymore. You can buy VRP in bulk and get all the content in R3E for around $65 which is about the cost of a new PS4 game, so not very costly. And you'll have some coin leftover to buy the next couple of pieces of new content that come out. Static time/conditions aside, this game has come miles and miles in the last year or two and is shaping up to be one of the most "complete" racing games available. Their roster of cars and tracks is just unmatched in both volume and variety.

Your mod is a proper MOD, and if you mention who made the skins is perfect (by the way thanks for the mod, i was waiting something more "electric").
