So here's my edit of the Renault Espace F1.

Changed some materials (Carbon fiber side panels , changed tyres and added more setup options for suspension, camber, toe etc. It doesn't drive like it's on rails anymore and requires more attention while driving. I recommend running 5 rear toe and 10 for the front.

Cheers

Yes. I do use CM, Custom Shaders Patch SOL, but they're not causing the issue. It's due to some form of encryption that has been put on the mod and I don't think there's any way around it.

Interesting. Then how come the guy posting the mod can make the car look normal in his videos (YT channel Esprit3905)?

Shutoko Revival Project Beta v0.8.1

Hello everyone.
I used to run on this truck before, but this truck has crashed recently. I do not know the cause.
Do you have any idea?
Thank you.

I think it needs the shader patch looking at all the VAO patch files in the track folder. It's a shame, this is the first public link I know of the Shuto that has the completed Minato Mirai loop and I can't drive it as well :(

Why do people make mods that can ONLY work with shader patch??? :irked: Just make it work with and without. Those with sol can have their pretty graphics, the rest of us can still run it as well even if it looks like potato.

Forza's New York track conversion WiP.
Cool your jets though, this guy NEVER releases his conversions.
GTP challenge: let's spam his comments with requests for some releases. He's wavered in the past but has always stuck to his guns. Unleash the crowd-power of GTP..!
:gtpflag:

I wouldn't get my hopes up. This dude never releases any of his converted mods due to fear of copyright laws. Seems to be a theme common with many Japanese modders.

Funnily enough, lots of his other tracks end up getting converted by other people down the line. Esprit3905 does the Forza tracks, ACU does GRID tracks, etc. So it's just a matter of time hopefully ;)

I use CM/Shaders Patch/SOL... and for me, the encrypted images only show up in the showroom and when you try to update the preview image. There's no problem whilst driving or watching replays.

*updates*

Have you tried these updates? Any good? And where were they from?

AccAkut at RD did some simple AO application to overhaul the visuals, showing what's possible.

The F1 Espace is such a high-profile unicorn due to RTM's ridiculous $200 paywall. it's taken on almost mythical status in the AC modding community. It feels like a vehicle that should have some Team GTP love and attention (with Tony's permission, of course), just to rub RTM's nose in the doo-doo if nothing else, lol.

Yeah, I think these were obvious, but I was assuming the "AccAkut at RD" link for the visual updates just above the post of @EvilGloomy were meant ...

Hmm, even more interesting then. I wonder why it doesn't show up for me on track. If you are so kind, would you be able to test disabling shader patch/sol and see if the car appears encrypted on track? And just to be sure, by "encrypted" your car looks like it is covered in blue/white triangles yes?

I wonder why not a lot more people in this thread complains about this. Every mod that gets posted gets so many likes...but how many of those people actually try and drive it.

For those joining in, these are the 2 cars I'm talking about (DL link in video description):

guys i would like to see your updates, please share it here

Well, maybe you did, but just in case: you have to take the car to CM showroom and there you will find the KN5 unpacker in the right side window.
OK i actrivated all but what i need is to unpack tracks too not just cars
how i open KN5 of tracks and make FBX to edit them?

edit: read the whole post!

edit2:
also 3dsimed can save as ".fbx", plus ".fbx.ini" (persistence file with shader settings)
3dsimed_save_as_fbx.jpg

edit3: as mentioned ealier, those exported fbx files will not load in ksEditor, save under same filename with Blender or 3dSmax first; but if you edit them, you probably do this already

edit4: kn5unpack
-generates a "persistence file" too, so it would be FIRST choice
-it scales everything by 100, scale down all after import in Blender by 0.01

edit 5: AutoEditor v2.3 (zip download at the end) - ini-changer: added option to filter by section content; +fixes
