Have you got the "FULL" version of CM? If not, donate something and buy it! Whatever you donate is well spent.

@Fanapryde
I guess your issue is related to just one setting in CSP. Perhaps in the general settings.
Save your actual configuration and then uncheck every CSP menu voice. Check one by one every voice and see if this changes the behavior of the safety net. If it does, check in that particular menu voice of CSP what can be the culprit.

p.s.
Instead of completely DELETING an object, with Kunos editor you can HIDE (IsRenderable) that object or DEACTIVATE it (IsActive).
For me is better this solution.
I have the FULL CM yes

im still waiting for my childhood dream car to be leaked i do have the money for it but i really would regret giving my money to rtm!

footage of the Valkyrie i cannot believe that this guy wasted 99$!

Serious question : Why would Anyone buy that crap!!?? If I downloaded that thing for free , tested it and this is what I got , i couldn't possibly delete it fast enough! I came a across a huge RTM folder with around 4GB worth of cars. ( maybe 60-70 cars? ).....I deleted all but 3 I think , and even they needed help. The guy obviously knows what he's doing , and if he was to actually create something of his own , polish it into a good car , then I could see charging for it. I've actually gotten to the point when I see an " RTM " attached to a car , I won't even download it any more. Complete hack job pieces of crap that take up space in my recycle bin !

You know, when you pick a car that is too low for a track, and you gotta change it in the setup... is there any way to save those settings as a default configuration? I've navigated the data files for suspension and setup, but can't find the values. Thanks!

open your suspensions ini and modify the value of the rod lenght (front and rear suspension)

keep also in mind that some cars (in particular old '70 usa vintage trans ams and company) have the collision box set lower than the undecarriage, so when driving you will hear the undercarriage scraping the asphalt on every little bump (the pontiac firebird 1969 as an example that comes to my mind) and that will make you think the setup is to low → fix that in the CM by checking the collision box (the same page where you check the wheels, lights and suspensions) and modify the values in the colliders.ini file accordingly, until it fits the car dimensions. The middle number affects the height

These are not end user products :) ...but they can be interesting to modders that like to fiddle around and make something good with a little know how.

The amount of cars he or they converted is amazing and I think it is cool to have someone do the "dirty work" and bring these models to AC ... pity they do not do vintage cars, but someone will surely appreciate some of the models ready for some rework to make them good to drive.

No need to bitch around about RTM... do not buy it and that's it... sooner or later you find them for free, as you in fact did.
I doubt anyone buys these models, since they are illegal conversions in a first place, but that is not my or your problem ;)

Someone please remind me: what was the solution to AI cars appearing white when they're a certain distance away? Something to do with LoDs?

I think the answer is...

Go to 'Graphic Adjustments' in CM, then look in the 'Adaptive Clip Planes' row and set 'Far Planes, M' to a higher setting. Default setting is currently to '20000,40000' (if I remember correctly), but I've now got it at '30000,40000' to made LOD's switch to higher quality futher away.

Hope that helps.

Legend! I've always looked for a fix, never found any. I quote it again as I think it will be useful to many of us.
Thanks!

Hi gents,
New old street car, Alfa Romeo GT V6, 2.5L 160hp, 213Nm, 211 km/h, 5 gears consistent with automobile catalog data:

Have fun, Mike.
Having driven this exact car many years ago (obviously a memorable experience), I have some constructive criticism on the physics:

IRL, this car had a very soft suspension. In this mod, it's not only rock hard - it rolls less than a modern GT3 car. It's got way too much tire grip and basically feels nothing like an 80's GT car. The brakes are also pretty phenomenal for an old Alfa (this car had inboard rear brakes that tended to fade a bit).

The real car was lovely to drive, but had copious amounts of body roll and a hint of lift-throttle oversteer at the limit (much less abrupt than contemporary BMW's due to the excellent - and expensive to make - De Dion rear suspension, plus better weight distro due to its transaxle).

The mod version has none of that. It drives like it's on rails. Question: Is it based on the physics done by Velos Mods (Paul Williams iirc)? It feels like his physics.

Yeah , I guess you're right when you look at it that way. I may have even more RTM converted cars in my library than I think I do , as I have a ton of re-worked cars.

@dragster666............I found it a few moths ago in this thread , but could be maybe 100 pages back by now. The link may not work any more. I'll see if I can some how find it , and if I do , I'll post a link.
