@Fanapryde use the mouse and the arrow keys.
Right click to mark an object. Left mouse pressed to move around.
Avoid zooming in too much with mouse wheel. Use the arrow keys instead.

OK, so far so good.
I wonder why my image is black and white though ?
But all settings are the same as in your example now.
I guess I need to save the KN5 as "Car" now ? (or Car no textures ?)
And then some more ?
There's a 'unpacked' map (containing texture map, 3D Object and .fbx config file + a KSANIM file) now inside the Abarth folder

Inside the Abarth folder you got the unpacked folder you are using to fix the car via Kunos editor.
You can delete it if you don't need it anymore.

Save the persistence first, it's like a "savegame" for the shaders you modify. It's in case you want to resume your work someday in the future avoidimng to lose your latest modifications.
Save as .kn5 car.

kn5 car with no texture it's used only to create the colliders files.

Not sure what you mean by this...persistence ?
Anyway, I saved the KN5 as car.
But the date & time of the KN5 file has not changed ? Is that normal ?
Then I tried the car: sadly nothing has changed...
Still don't get what may be wrong: the view trough the net is grey except the rear view mirror.

@Fanapryde
Persistance is like SAVEGAME for a common game.
It saves your modifications to the shaders, values, textures etc.
It helps you not to lose your work... imagine you work on a car for 30min, a lot of changes, boom BSOD of your Windows and you didn't save... :D

Try saving the BlendMode as "eAlphaBlend" and down below, set IsTransparent as TRUE. Save the car as kn5.

p.s.
when the save to kn5 is correct, you will always see a small window saying the car has been saved.

GT4 time

Thanks again for the help.
I can now make the changes and save them as intended.
But sadly none of the suggested changes solved the issue I have.
Tried several CSP versions, even used Kunos launcher... still looks the same.
After spending several hours trying to get this thing fixed, I decided to go for @norms solution.
it gives me this (no safety net, but I'm relieved to have a clear view again)

If you have no luck, give this a try, just removed the meshes again.

Thanks for the workaround, now I can race the Abarth again :D

Thanks. I try to avoid e-cars if I can and stick to fossil fuels. E-cars will be forced on us all soon enough, but until then...

I agree completely.
While this NIO is clearly fast, it is only that for about 5 laps around Hockenheim and then you can crawl into the pits to 'refuel'...
Useless... :indiff:

managed to do 6.52 on Soft (not supersoft) . its really nice to train you acceleration skills on such a bumpy track with stiff suspension of Espace F1

Woo hoo. That's quick. I've not been able to do better than around 7.01 yet. Mostly because I keep crashing or running out of fuel before I can put a clean lap together... or at least that's my excuse!

i 've just found raceroom experience.
compared to ac competizione, last one is just a toy! So many challanges, and reality feelings from rre
sorry for offtop)
Random ACC bashing aside R3E Is a very good sim but Is very.limited to daylight Sunny days driving while ACC has a deeper phisics of the cars and tracks, day-night cycle and an Amazing simulation of wet tracks
In addiction R3E Is a very costy game cause It has Just a couple of free Cars and tracks, no modding and all DLCs cost a lot and contents can overlap so you could end to pay twice some tracks
They are two different beasts and One can enjoy both without bashing One of the two

to say true i have dissapointed in ACC. Now AC mods allow us to to ride day night and even track weather tracks

You know, when you pick a car that is too low for a track, and you gotta change it in the setup... is there any way to save those settings as a default configuration? I've navigated the data files for suspension and setup, but can't find the values. Thanks!

Day and Night Yes
Weather not cause it's only graphics (and only in cockpit mode) cause the track is still dry
Maybe in future they Will be able to add real wet tracks and Rain falling from Sky with true wet tracks but It Will bè very hard and i guess very demanding for the CPU/GPU

I searched that plugin on my CM but i dont have it in the list...
It's a built in feature of CM or i have to download it somewhere?
Have you got the "FULL" version of CM? If not, donate something and buy it! Whatever you donate is well spent.

@Fanapryde
I guess your issue is related to just one setting in CSP. Perhaps in the general settings.
Save your actual configuration and then uncheck every CSP menu voice. Check one by one every voice and see if this changes the behavior of the safety net. If it does, check in that particular menu voice of CSP what can be the culprit.

p.s.
Instead of completely DELETING an object, with Kunos editor you can HIDE (IsRenderable) that object or DEACTIVATE it (IsActive).
For me is better this solution.

I do not have the option either
