NASHVILLE STREET CIRCUIT


The Music City GP is a new track in the IndyCar schedule since 2021. This 3D-track was made for rFactor by LFT. It was converted and enhanced to Assetto Corsa by Rainmaker. Thanks to macko68 for helping.


Features:
  • working AI
  • working track map
  • support for hot lap mode
  • replay cameras by DaBaeda
  • support for time attack mode
  • 26 pit boxes with working pit lane
  • CSP support: RainFX, GrassFX, water shader
  • vao patch
  • helicopter animations
  • working start lights
  • option for bumpy and smooth road meshes in extras folder, standard is bumpy
  • added option to removed 2d crowds: open the ext_config.ini in the extension folder scroll down to last ";remove 2d crowds" and set ACTIVE = 1

Successfully tested with IMSA 2023, CART 1999 (VRC), IndyCar 2021 (VRC), GT3, TransAm (VRC). Big frame drops for IndyCar 2012 (VRC) and IndyCar 2018 (VRC) as usual. Sometimes the AI will cause a traffic jam in T5 and T6, restart the race if needed.

Known issues:
  • the original rF author unfortunately could not put any sponsors into the track (CTD in Bobs Track Builder), if you can help please send a PM at Racedepartment or GTPlanet EDIT: Neil Shaw is working on it!

FYI I figure I share this...
You need to unpack the data for this car and then edit the flame.ini file, you can just copy and paste this




I assume if you delete all that the flame is gone, which is diesel accurate I guess....

If you want to change the color from the blue/white ish flame, I took these from the Nismo GTR LM, paste these into flame_presets.ini:




I like this car because it looks alright, drives alright(with hybrid system), and is competitive with the VRC P1 car, since the Kunos' much older Audi is not....

Hi. Have a problem with this car as in VR the side windows reflect cars body so you can’t see out of them.
 
Hello everyone, i tried to fix as much as i can the version of mp4\13 maded by VirtuaSimulazioni that was posted on here while ago and get the physics more realistic
Besides physics change UI, kn5 and skins are updated, also extension file with audio tweaks is added so original sound works fine now.

The JPX was essentially run in 2003 LMP675 chassis #C60-N6 the first to be branded the Courage C65 name(Different then this C65 pack that car was designed
for LMP675 rules, not LMP2). I may not keep it in the final pack not sure yet.

There are no representative C65's 2005 and later on with this drivetrain but decided to add to the pack anyways.

(My gaming PC is out at the moment, publicly releasing some WIPs and beta me and the RMS Modding group)

Hi. Although the cars are very good to drive, I have problems with the upshift from 2 to 3 and than to 4 or 5 gear. It seems like the clutch is slips and sometime it never shifts the gear. Only when automatic shifting is on. No problems with manual shifting. I don't know what data to change so that this doesn't happen. Any help will be appreciated.

I updated to v1.4 a few days ago, thanks to Chilby the tire axis misalignment was corrected.
Various other fixes have been made since v1.2
It still has a manual gearbox though, while IRL it had a 6-speed sequential.
I changed it for myself, but just a reminder ... ;)

I think you need to add these to the ext_config:

IS_ACTIVE = 1

Tire dimensions are in tyres.ini. You can see the outlines in CM Showroom.
Looks like the tyres.ini size are actually accurate, so I guess the 3D model is too small..
 
Sure. That could be. Sometimes you have to "just make things work" though. 🤷‍♂️
I have noticed, when painting skins for that car that the rear tires appear to be stretched. The lettering is a little wonky compared to the fronts. I've tried to fix it with the tire.dds but it must be mapped weird.
 
I need to separate two walls which are in one mesh.
I tried with

[SPLIT_MESHES_...]
MESHES = 1WALL
NAME_FORMAT = 1WALL_{Index}
ORDER_PIVOT = 0, 0, 0

I thought that I would have two separated meshes named 1WALL_0 and 1WALL_1, but it doesn't work.
