Hopefully the ARX-03B means we also get a physics update for the ARX-03C (P13C), which is what I've heard through the grapevine as the reason they're even making it in the first place.

But I hope if that does happen, the new physics have a knock-on effect of making the car actually useable in an AI race, that'd be sweet.
your grapevine is hearing from the wrong sources. I highly doubt the P13C gets an update.
 
I completely agree, It would easily be in my top 10 mods if this wasn't the case. For me personally ai performance of mods is a big deal to me. Since the mod is encrypted, you can't really do anything about it.
I'm still skeptical that a Facebook post constitutes a return at all, even if it is from the "official" page (that has been almost completely dead for 5 years).

But if the buzz grows, and there indeed is public AC mod work going on, I'll likely head over to the P13C's RD thread and give them a "nudge". ;)

EDIT: Looks like mclarenF1papa has also posted on the RaceDepartment thread. That's enough smoke to think something is happening.

I have left my "nudge" about the AI, and have tried to be as polite as I could. What a nice Xmas present that would be, driving offline against AI in the P13C. Might even push a few guys in my Discord over the edge to purchase the mod.

The more RPM there is in the engine, a very aggressive and immersive vibration appears. as shown in this video:

I have already started working on a Mosler MT900 GT3 too, as i don't particularly like the quality of the models currently available in AC.
But I haven't worked on the Mosler for a long time because of the updates for the Ultima and my other three cars.
So there will be come a new update for BMW, Vertigo and Mantis after i have finished my support and work on the E46 M3 GTR and after that i will continue my work on the Mosler MT900 GT3. The pictures are not entirely up to date because I have already created the rear diffuser on the model.

Here's mine. Just remove the .txt from the extension and unpack the compressed file, overwrite when asked (original cameras were moved after mine).

I agree, I don't like the quality of the models currently in AC too. I was hoping someone would convert the one from Horizon 5 when I saw it first release in the HW pack, but that's just a dream now. Months later I saw Ex mod's "Mosler MT900R GT", Hoping was the FH5 Model, but it just has a hill climb kit on it...(Still a cool car though). I did change the sound (and I think the materials too?) and the wheels on the GTR2 version. I did a bad job on it, No brake calibers.

A very cool bonus would be the MT900R GT3 and this GT300 with the fender end plates, I like this style on the cars, giving it a bit of a boxy yet "Streamline" look. I can't wait to see what you do to the Mosler, I'm enjoying the Ultima and your other mods too, but I think I'd pour a lot of time into your up coming Mosler mod, then I have with this current one. Can't wait!

Does anyone happen to have the fictional group c car that was on RD but has now been taken down? I did mean to download it but only just got round to looking this morning and it's gone. It's called the TRD DRW12. It looks like it had some user issues and was then pulled.
 
About the 1952 Ferrari 500. Folks over at Revival Racing League (@Obi-Wan Kannabis) with Historic Sim Studios have really made a jewel, model-wise. WAY too many polys, so it's awks to work with (CM showroom will open once, off a fresh AC launch. Second is a CM CTD). But man! It is pretteeeee. And it has aggressive LODS, and is unencrypted.

Fizixs are pretty tame and generic (likely bolstered by period opinion that it was a dog-simple, placid, workman-like car). Needed a sound jigger (Porsche flat-4, really?), and Driver 1955 from @MR Malarkey on RD.

Anyhoo. Slowlee-slowee-catchee-monkee working on some period skins from the (surprising amount of) available images. Given the talk of poly reduction, I hope this isn't a time waste.

Have an unusual question. Because I really love the groupB rally cars but I don’t like rallying in AC.

Has anybody ever seen a “pack” of BOPed group B cars for use on normal racetracks !?

There is a rally site I don’t remember the name sorted by groups but mostly very poor models and of course nothing BOPed together.
 
Yeah I know about hard links and junctions, used them in the past when I had multiple small hard drives.
Thanks for the info, unfortunately not what I was looking for, I meant specifically within CM, I had the way skins are displayed.
Short of going through all the cars that have lots of skins and changing the livery.png for each and every skin to something that better shows the skin info I'm sure I am stuck with this:

*** Sorry if this has been answered, i really dont have time to read 16 pages to catch up - BUT, are you talking about having skins that are, for example, BTCC 1998? The way I got around that was cloning the car, going back into content manager finding the cloned car, removing the irrelevant skins that weren't 1998 (in this example). Then I would go into the content tab for each cloned car and changing the brand to BTCC 1998 and making a brand tag for that group of cars. So when you look in the menu's they are all catagorised and in one place. Like this...

I had begun working on the Forza Horizon model of the Mosler a while back. I dont have enough time to finish it so I sent it to someone but cant remember who and havent heard anything back. Its in game but needs textures assigning etc. and the cock pit added(.obj is included)

Probably worth waiting for one of the other modders to release theirs but if anyone wants to have a go I'm happy to send what I have over.

Fantastic mod!!. It's been a long time since I had so much fun driving. the must for me being the Maserati Tipo 151. This car is incredibly successful. Managing to control slides in curves is a real pleasure. One of Assetto Corsa's most successful cars.

I know you are not the original modder but Golden Valley is a reference (a pun) on the actual "Circuit du Val d'Or "
It was used by Citroen and other brands for testing .
The surrounding of the track are different in GTR2 / assetto but the shape of layout is the same

it is now called Circuit de Versailles-Satory and there is a project to revamp it

Could you please, please, please with sugar on top, consider to work on a Seat Toledo GT like we had in GTR2? Maybe as a next one? :)
 
I'm having a problem with my TVR AI. It seems to behave in an acceptable manner, but uses a different 6th gear from that indicated in the drivetrain ini file. Let me start by saying two things: the TVR has a fixed final ratio and a sixth gear equal to GEAR_6=1.0000 (max speed reachable: 255 km/h). Using other gearsets it can even reach 295 km/h (a technically correct speed for the chassis that raced at Le Mans), but the AI continues to use a much shorter gear ratio (max speed reachable: 215 km/h). I also tried to force a setup done by myself, but nothing. What could cause this problem? Thanks in advance.

They are just fantasy versions of the Giulia GTAM and the Giulia SWB Zagato.

The LP MXX GT2 and the LP FGT GT3 are the only ones that are actually real.
