I am not sure what shader the glass is or where to find that if i am being totally honest, sorry i am not much help on that.
open Object Inspector in game (csp app) and Alt + Click on the glass mesh. It should list what the shader is


or in CM Showroom if the car isn't encrypted you can select the glass and click the 3 dots next to 'Material"

has anyone got this issue with this Saleen by PedroBR? as far as i can tell if you have the latest version of CSP and ksperpixelmultimap with emmisive map this should not occur with the windows...?. I cant seem to get it to look right, some video's i have seen the windows seem ok so i guess i am doing something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

the windows are broken yes, i forgot to add smoothing to 'em, imma drop an update as fast as i can.

See screenshots attached. Before and after clicking "Geo Tags". Burlington, Iowa is indeed a real location.

Worked fine until very recently.
Just try without the IA and only with Burlington. Not on my PC right now so I can´t replicate it.
 
Hey guys, does anyone know about 1998 F1 Mod which is good?
I know SD got one but remember it wasnt that great, 1999 I am looking as well but this season doesnt exist still innit?
 
@Fall Guy further to the above, it seems the cursor struggles to auto-hide if the new 'confine cursor to window area' is ticked in MODE TWEAKS: VR

This Porsche 911 (930) Turbo 1979 by AutoModeJapan is worth a look. I've got seven 930s that all seem to share the same model but I think this one drives (and sounds) the best.
Can you re-upload the 930 again? Do you have any more from AutomodeJapan? Thank you.

What kind of feedback do you need for the Inpul blue color?
The team uses the color from "Calsonic Kansei" "4a8ed1"
Now, it depends on whether you are using the "multiply" layer in Photoshop above your layer to add more tone to the AO map it will make it more dark-blue. You can't get the exact color by looking at the pictures on Google because the color changes by the camera, shutter speed, ISO, and F/Stop of the camera that the photographer used when he took the photo. The light also plays a crucial role
For me, it looks good but you can make it as you like it, like how it looks in the pictures but you will have to waste too much time,
Take an example from the (Nissan R33 Autobacs) every picture has a different color, from orange to redder and in some pictures more towards pink color.

Thanks, but in VR it's easier just to move the cursor out of my FOV with the mouse until Ilja fixes it.

That 930 link was from four years ago, and wasn't mine to begin with. I no longer have the car so have to assume it's been bettered since then. Sorry.

Would like to get this car mod, even pay for it... My younger sister once had that car for a while before she got married and moved to Italy long time ago...
It would be nice to have it, I think it's from the MSC, private or released only to a select few...

The 1991 was Senna's third and final World Championship year. Arch rival Alain Prost failed to win a race with uncompetitive Ferrari and was fired before the end of the season due to a dispute with the team. 1991 also saw the debuts of future multiple world champions Michael Schumacher and Mika Hakkinen (which became the next big rivalry in F1), as well as the retirement of three-time champion Nelson Piquet. Schumacher raced only 6 GP's at Jordan so he's not included in the season. There is no skin for him in the mod, either. You can play him on the 1992 season that I just released. Hakkinen is included but Lotus that year was the slowest car on the grid.

Okay, probably the best championship mod yet because the cars are all FREE. I've done this a long time ago and played and tested it through many times... but waited until we have a proper free Phoenix track. I release these one by one (I still have 1986 coming).

That free Phoenix street circuit is not pretty and not up to 1988 and 1992 ASR tracks standards (which are incredible) but at least the ai is lighting fast now (it used to be 6 seconds too slow) and the race is great. It has the correct layout for the 1991 so in that sense this year is now fully functional. Finally.

All tracks have been tested and they are there for a reason. Monza, Imola and Spa 1988 have faster ai's than the 1992 ASR tracks and the Hockenheim 1988 is more accurate as the Bremskurve 1 & 2 didn't change before 1992.

I have added another championship file for the pay mod version of the Phoenix track. That track looks superb and has layouts for all years 89, 90 and 91. But the ai is broken in many ways. I have the same friend working on it who fixed the free track.

Quite astounding that these ASR cars are 100% free. These are 99% the same quality as the incredible RSS 1990 and ASR 1991.

The championship is set for Senna but as usual change it to any driver you want and place Senna to the ai grid with 96-99 ai level (depending your skill).

I always keep the grid at max. 20 cars. This has many benefits. Because AC ai cars don't behave like the real F1 cars on their warmup lap (give space) full grid would make way too difficult to get a clear QF lap. Also lower ranked ai cars aggression is low exactly for this same reason. With high aggression their behaviour in slow QF laps and as backmarkers is NOT realistic. With higher aggression they try to knock you out even during the blue flags. The downside is that now when accident happens they sometimes get stuck behind eachother on street tracks. But it's a compromise, you can't get it both ways. If you feel this is not good, feel free to add the full grid yourself. The ASR package has it.

Mansell is very fast in the season and his ai rating is 99 and it's plenty as the ASR McLaren is quite slippery and oversteery. I usually used very high rear wing setting and was competitive in many races. I managed to win the WDC twice, became third once and second once. I'm not the best sim racer but I'm not the worst either and I find the difficulty challenging but fair.

If you find the season too hard/easy, simply open the Notepad and adjust the driver rankings from championship.champ file to match your personal skills.If you're new to sim racing, I guess top ai ratings like 92-93 could suit you better. Hard to tell.

ASR 1991 cars have the sparks by default but this mod increases the effect. They look incredible. The sparks mod has instructions inside.

Question to the modding wizzards. I'm trying to update a cars' digital instruments, and after going mental for an hour trying to adjust something in digital_instruments.ini, re-packing the car, loading the game, seeing another error, leaving the game, and adjusting again I found the brilliant sounding set observeDigital 1 command.

I've tried it, AC confirms in the console that it's on, but I don't see any live updates of my dash. I also don't see any flickering/blinking of the dash that people describe online. What's the trick? Any help appreciated.
So I'm still having this issue. I did the following
Created a data_override in the extension folder and put a copy of digital_instruments.ini in there. In that version I only put a placeholder on the screen which says '1'.

The digital_instruments.ini in the data folder has the value '2' and the one I packaged into data.acd has '3'.

When I boot AC the screen says '1', so it's using the extension/data_override folder.
I then activate observeDigital 1, and the value now changes to '3', so it's using the packaged digital_instruments.

So the command does seem to work, it just looks at my packaged data, which means I still can't do any live changes.

Anyone with any thoughts?
I already looked for the 'use unpacked data if available' option in CM, but this seems to have disappeared(?).

Since a couple of months I've got strange issues with the tools of CM\Content\Tracks:
  • when I try to use "Update map" the generated map.png is all transparent.
  • When I try to use "Update outiline" the generated outline.png hasn't a transparent background (but i't filled with a piece of preview.png).
This happens an all tracks

Manthey-EMA WEC #91 SKIN for Bonny's 992 GT3, folder name "bny_porsche_992_gt3r" (no quotes) . I'll do an update on niggles glitches and mysteries eventually, but not real soon. Need a break after this one...

EDIT: The cast light from the headlights is yellow (I cancelled the yellow headlight itself). From all LMGT3 pics I've seen, they shouldn't be. You can make the change yourself (shown below) or it'll be fixed in an update soon.
EDIT2: I meant to include a few alternative power.lut variations to use for your BOPing. Attached below. (rename your data/power.lut to something else, then remove the ".XXXhp" from the one you're installing)
EDIT3: The pearl paintjob came with the skin I started with to make this. I kinda don't like it. Unlikely it would be on a racecar anyway right? Think I'll fix that for the update.

What's the most current version of this mod? The version I have just lists Bonny's name with a (0) after it so i'm not sure if i'm up to date.
