Since you're working on the 1976 season, is there a possibility that you make the Kojima KE009?
At the moment I'm doing my "Fittipaldi Team Career Mode", I'm in the 1976 season, despite having stopped racing in the last few weeks.
Whenever I advance, as far as possible, the missing models (I adapt/convert (partially), as I don't know how to convert the cars completely).
It will be a while until I reach the Japanese Grand Prix, but I hope to be able to do it.

wow Shi , another beauty! Thanks alot!

One thing I notice when taking my favorite MX5 to that track, is a weird green reflection in the taillights (which I don't have on other tracks , just on this new one !?)
Would you know just with this info what might be causing it (and fix it in a next update)?

I'd make a screenshot , if my screen wasn't always black when I'm in-game (so also screenshots are completely black and useless... )
Anyone know what I can try and change in settings to get the mirror on the monitor working again (using Oculus render)?
Are you using kunos Mazda MX5 ND?
I do not know the cause.

Guys, I can't seem to find an AI line fix for "fln_long beach". Last hairpin, they always touch the left wall and then all the ai are confused because of the one ai stopped because of the wall hit...

dangit, I had a screenshot to explain. Where the hell do screenshots end up?

Anyway: does anyone have an actual AI line for "fln_long beach" where the AI actually make it past the last hairpin? I've tried Rainmaker's with great hope, unfortunately they still can't manage that last hairpin with RM's ai line.

It's an absolutely beautiful version of the Long Beach track. I hope someone has a good AI line so I can keep it in my custom championship...

Does anyone have this livery or a similar one for the Lanoz V12 aka the RSS Murcielago R-GT?
maxresdefault.jpg

From what I can see at some point the car was sold unlivered but the car now comes with a livery pack and not the plain carbon like the R-GT prototype.

Bit late, but in case you are still looking...

Will drop the Daytona AI on Friday, wasnt hoping to take this long but ended up redoing it countless times, as I realized it didnt only need to be fast but it also needed to leave enough space around at most times for multiclass lapping to happen, sorry for the long times... Will test it out with various cars tomorrow to make sure it doesnt break with stuff thats not RSS. Meanwhile enjoy this screenshot :D

I always do really enjoy your screenshot style. And AI of course! Thanks, will be essential for using the track more.

The tech behind LCS is simply amazing and a glimpse to my crystal ball reveals: After Peter has adapted Pure everybody will celebrate the new lighting system.... 😉🥳🎉 The problem ATM is that you have to decide for one of it. If somebody is pushing the limits, mostly something great arises. But it need some time to be tuned. I'm 100% safe that LCS is the future lighting system in AC and in a few weeks or months we will all laugh about this discussion.
LCS in that video kind of reminds me of the old PureCandy(?) PPF which I tried once and hated. Higher contrast, higher saturation, slightly cartoony look.
After much fiddling (no, not that kind), I'm gradually coming around to seeing the potential of LCS. The way light wraps around objects more naturally is a very nice thing. Grass shading looks a lot more detailed too, though it's a massive loss that it doesn't work with PURE – and probably won't for quite some time, if at all. For my money, the skydome clouds in PURE are the bees knees. Living without them is a massive backward step, as is the loss of all the other things that PURE allows you to adjust.

What I cannot make work to my liking with or without LCS is HDR. No matter what I try, the images always look milky and just plain wrong. I'll blame Windows, because I like blaming Windows for everything. :mischievous:

EDIT: I'm also finding the sunlight with LCS seems a bit hazy and strangely blue. Or perhaps that's just the mood that current world news leaves me in. :boggled:

So I recently moved my AC installation to a brand new SSD and lost some of my old settings.
I was able to restore most of them... albeit with one caveat that's actually served to be rather irritating so far.

The rear camera (look behind) placement is suddenly far higher than it used to be.

I use the "BACC - Forza Horizon" Chaser Camera script from RaceDepartment (Overtake) and had been using it prior to the game being moved, and never had this problem before. For context, this is how I have it currently set up when looking in front from third person.

Anyone know how I can fix this? This is present on every vehicle and is not related to the mod shown here.

Anyone here already did a showroom?I wanna do something a little crazy and do this showroom

Problem being i've got no experience in this.

I have extracted the showroom from the game files, assigned textures etc etc (what a pain in the ass it was)

Now how should I go from there to make it into a showroom, how does it work for the lights?

Thanks in advance

Scratch that, seems like moving the game older REALLY screwed more things up than I had anticipated, I'm suspecting Steam trying to re-verify files on its own really had a lot to do with it.

Looks like a reluctant re-install is in the works now.

I've speeded up the duration of the default animation loop for the flag-waving spectators. I think they look better a little faster.
There's also no chance now of adjacent flags being perfectly in synch.
If anyone wants to adjust existing tracks that use them, just sub these fields in to the relevant section in the config.
Code:
[ANIMATED_...]
NODE = FlagPole01
ANIMATION = flag1.ksanim
DURATION = 2.03; 2.25

[ANIMATED_...]

ANIMATION = flag2.ksanim

no, it's the amazing Mazda MX-5 (NC) NCFL by Blaze , v1.1 by ACTK (found here, or direct link here)
(roof opens, even animated!)

and it's for sure not VR related, as I also see it when I switch to pancake render (and then I can take a screenshot of it):

For comparison here the same car on a different track (same weather, time etc.), then no green glow in the tail lights...

can somebody me tell how to get the missing image back.

i have two others missing and i don't how this is happening

The images are linked to images on the acstuff.ru site in the various .ini-files, and something happened with the last csp update for me as well, not showing some of these images. It doesn't help to revert to earlier versions either, so I'm guessing some sort of network error preventing cm from downloading and/or displaying them. Or somehing else, completely random. Annoying, but doesn't seem to have any other negative effect.
updating my mods as I learn new techniques!!

I removed the [Material_RoomWindows] entry and the problem was resolved.
I will post an update on Friday or Saturday.

Good morning. I have a small problem with the onboard setting app. I probably had to move it inadvertently which means I can no longer adjust my driving position. How can I make it reappear on my screen? Thanks for your help

I finished my Hungaroring ACC mod, but I have a bit of a problem with regards to sharing it. I 'borrowed' all the trackside objects (things like lights poles, safety trucks, etc.) from the Fenryr version because I didn't see a reason to reinvent the wheel so to speak. Problem is, releasing it with his work would kind of be a d@@k move. I could easily strip them, but then the track looks really empty.

I actually converted the Fenryr version to look like this because honestly, his version is tremendous with the separate GT and F1 layouts. I just didn't like his choice for tree and grass textures, but changing them wasn't possible as a simple track skin. I needed to alter shader types and values, tree models, etc. Basically, I had to make new kn5 files. Because of this, I can't make that one available either because that would also be a d@@k move.

So i've got a bit of a decision to make on what to do. Anyways, this is how it would look compared to the original. Maybe you like it or maybe you prefer the original.

Anyone noticing damaged/stopped AI cars won't teleport to pits anymore and just sit there for the whole race? These are my current AI Tweaks settings. Intuitively, you would think the "Teleport to pits if taken too much damage" should solve the problem. Actually I think it does for the most part, but it seems maybe 50 to 60% of the time, some cars will just sit there on the side of the track in the grass. Which also seems to make the AI coming near the disabled car to drive slowly and perhaps driving like they are a little confused... Anyone know of a fix?

My current AI settings:

I wasn't even born in those days but the old F1 is so fascinating. For me driving through the 80's and 90's F1 on AC is almost like reliving the history.

Those old school F1 driver were badasses. They risked their lives every single day in those cars.

Hard men. They even looked the part.

Keke Rosberg was cooler than all drivers in the last 10 years put together.

I got a beta test version of 1985 cars from a friend. Can't say much about it, but it's going to be good.
