I don't know if I'm the only person to think this, but, after having seen many comparisons between LCS vs Gamma, I have to say that I notice very few differences, even in some circumstances I prefer the non-LCS version.
I say this because in my opinion it is not worth wasting time and resources to develop on the LCS model, especially after the level of quality that has been achieved with PURE, and with AC EVO which is arriving.
Anyway, all in my opinion.
You are not the only person. I have tried LCS with different filters and even one I tried to make myself and have yet to see the colors, lighting, shadows, etc. look anything like what the world looks like outside my window. With the old gamma mode, the game looks more like the world I see every day.

i see the opposite, gamma looks more game like. LCS looks more real, the filters are the problem with what you are seeing.

I tried Phizm LCS, but for me looked a bit like watching everything through faint smoke. Performance with it was good (which can't be said about Vision Reality LCS), but I didn't like that gray tint over everything.
what grey tint are you talking about ? it looks very natural like this. maybe reinstall AC, your settings must be messed up

I'm not reinstalling AC just because I don't like the look of one PPF.

EDIT: That being said, I think I could learn to live with it. And by the grey tint I meant low contrast, I now tested by driving during in a pitch black night, on a track without lights and turned all the lights off the car. The car still wasn't completely black inside, but I guess this might be realistic - I'm just not used to that.

A bit more contrast wouldn't hurt, though:

No wonder it seemed a bit low contrast, all the other PPFs I have use contrast=1 or even more, this Phizm LCS uses 0.9.
I think I could love this just by increasing that.

EDIT: Yep, just increasing contrast from 90% to 93% made a world of difference. 👍

3d model created by me. Credit me whenever you use it for your skins!
Thanks to Schmawlik regarding LUA code to move the original display and the steering wheels nodes, as the new one it's more up than the old.

It's not that great quality, i never made a steering wheel from WEC with these light emissive buttons, and there were 2 different wheel buttons for this one and it was quite to texture, apart that this one has 15 LEDS while the Cosworth MK3 has 10. Feel free to edit the textures, the shaders and the code as you want.

I think this is a better driver scale/posture/shifting animation.
Feet now on the pedals, hands better grip on the wheel, hand much closer to the shifter with a more natural shifting animation.
Remove the .txt extension and put in the animations folder, overwriting.
Swap this timing and preload into data/driver3d.ini (unpack the data first).
Preload increased massively to effectively disable it, as early preload can look odd with sequential shifts.

Code:
[SHIFT_ANIMATION]
BLEND_TIME=100
POSITIVE_TIME=330
STATIC_TIME=10
NEGATIVE_TIME=300
PRELOAD_RPM=20500
INVERT_SHIFTING_HANDS=0

First of all, THANK YOU!

I saw the DTM in person and I also sat in one of my favorite vehicles.
Skin #22 and #24 are in the making

Random, sort of. Some of you know my memory is getting pretty bad.

Anyway, I'm noticing that there are many absolutely beautiful tracks that are marred by one or two really ugly as$ tree(s). Makes me sad and is so horribly distracting/immersion breaking.

Can you guys remind me of the workflow to change out that tree with something of better quality.
Software and the process/workflow?

Back when I was making tracks I remember purchasing SimEd3d (I can't ever remember the actual name).... Would that be the 'software' to do this?

I can't remember. So frustrating (personal memory issue sad face ...)
