Assetto Corsa PC Mods General DiscussionPC

[Fanapryde]

On a mission now to track down more of these monsters.

There's the Merc and the Volvo. Good luck finding another one (apart from a 'drift' truck that is floating around somewhere).
Please inform me if you find any.... I couldn't... been searching for others since I got my hands on these two a long time ago.

Edit: the extra liveries are just doubles with a ligue logo added.

Yup, this is all you need, no tiny change duplicates like a logo. And the two blue's are very different.

Legion's Supervans are ready:

[EvilGloomy]

Nice, another update to those vans!

[VaiHalen]

I have a problem with Legion's Lancia Stratos HF Turbo. There is no needle in RPM meter and other dashboard instruments.
Is it easy to solve? Some CSP related?

[KJRacing81]

Man, I've had that Volvo truck forever but I don't think I ever drove it.
These formula trucks are so much fun! Worth building a motion rig and moving to VR for.

Edit: @P1ButtPlug the link you posted seems more up to date (more liveries, proper data, power curve etc). Thanks!

I have the volvo with a huge wing on the back also, can't remember where I got that. Never found any others though, some vw and scania models from formula trucks are available but way beyond my capabilities to attempt, I looked at the model for 2 seconds in 3dsimed and knew that. I pray for more to be added, I have a preset race weekend at daytona Road course layout I race all the time.

No, most of the problems with Legion's mods is that I have not actually finished it. Anything I've missed or indeed stuffed up, just leave a comment on the blog and I usually get around to finishing it, but no promises OK.

[safi hellie]

I love those two trucks, awesome lazy rear for wonderful cornering, (which is very realistic as cars do tend for the most apart to get into quite lazy 'drifts' as it is engineered as part of the cornering.)
Anyway, the trucks are great but a classic example of re skins as both are identical bar weight. To be fair iu dont know enough about truck racing to know if this is actually correct... Racing has a habit of doing this in real life, see the GT3 Lambo and R8 to name just one...

👍

Btw excelent driving cars.

[Cote Dazur]

Sadly this is not completely right...

Yes, what is funny, at least in VR, is that the mirrors, after cycling the camera view, are not black but they only reflect what was behind at the time of the cycling, other wise they are static and are not controlled by BLM cars.
Funny stuff.

[Conguito_]

Ok, I think I'll have a small poll here for you GT4 Enthusiasts. Which car do you want to be done first by someone else (I'm no modder here, sorry)? Mclaren 570S GT4 or the Stellar Performance Toyota GT86 GT4 I mentioned earlier?

I would go for the McLaren, but as somebody already wrote, the rollovers are already working on a Gt4 mod

[Masscot]

I f I may: https://acdriftingpro.com/files/file/60-rudskogen-motorsenter-beta/
It's not only for drifting, it could be fine for racing. But it has no AI lines...

That track is worth downloading purely for the rock formations - I don't think I've seen better geological finery in AC.

Agree though, AI lines and pits for this track would be most welcome.

Indeed, forgot to add the complete info. What you wrote is exactly what happens on triples too. What still intrigues me is that the Mercedes truck's mirrors DID work normally for the other laps I did. Tried again today and they only remember the static view of the moment you are cycling through the views. It changes each time you do that, but there is no 'live' view.

I kinda like the track. It's still WIP, but I fear it is going to be like that forever. Timing is also not completely correct. I records lap times allright, but for some reason I get no delta times on my Sidekick app...

[Newee]

Rudskogen starting grid is interesting...

It hasn't been updated for over 18 months so you're probably right.
Track surface seems very slippery - is that normal with drift tracks?

[KJRacing81]

Is there a way in Cm to change all the stats to Miles instead of km? Mainly how far I have driven and speed that I want to change.

That is probably what the sideways boys are aiming at...

I have not tried, but in CM>settings>content manager>language and regional>use imperial units.

That was it, don't think I had been on that assuming it to all be language related. Thanks!

Works on the results tab but doesn't seem to in the drive tab strangely.

Am I correct in thinking that The Rollovers are also working on a new version of the Bentley Continental GT3 car as well?

The car was made but will never be released sorry

[Conguito_]

The car was made but will never be released sorry

Oh no...
Why not?

First saying it will stay private but then sharing a picture of it just to flex on everyone. Nice

Oh no...

They claim it was "out of respect for Kunos"

these are the same people that have ripped models from rFactor 2 and Real Racing 3

They are pretty much spot on! Can't help with the AI and pits, and it should really get some better textures on the tarmac. here's at least some corner names for the three corners that are named on Rudskogen. :

Well, now we get this!!!
(I hope you can hear/read my excitement)

dont get me wrong, its all well and good, but the BMW isnt necessary. we already have it and its on its last legs irl.
but what else comes up might be interesting

Rollovers suck anyway, garbage miss match of kunos physics but even then they still manage to make them drive like poop.

Agree. But a proper Aston and Bentley are interesting. Maybe even a 720s GT3, who knows?

we just already got it, and it's really really improved on competizione, so it's a waste playing it on ac, that's cant be better, that's all

[makito]

Is there anyone who knows how to convert this car and make it into AC?
(The 3d file is found on gamemodels.ru)

[LiquidSkyMan]

Hey @P1ButtPlug

Was it U that was going to do AI ines for Rudskogen? I saw someone wanted them done, but if ur started on that , I'll look over some of Gilles tracks and get started on some of the newer ones he just upped the past week, a few of them I can improve.
