@jk0011

When i use PB app i get this display, how to get display to look like your screen shots?

CSP app?
What If you turn off the CSPapp in game's app menu and reboot game?

On my PC If turn on "Time attack setter", for some reason "reflectionsFX debug" is displayed...

If it doesn't change

Users\(user name)\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\acos.ini
This file remembers app position and on/off.
There's a possibility that "acos.ini" broken or not exist app is written.

You may want to try Rename "acos.ini" and confirm once
or Delete app description directly in "acos.ini"

Road Red, White ?

Hello @thunder72fr For me, foresters Outlon Park is very white.
It has patches of normal color surface, rest is bizarre white surface as in picture?

Road on right in distance (in picture) is very white to drive on this, only in AC is track like this for me, and only this track. Have removed trackfx etc but has not fix the problem.

Here is pic again of foresters at oulton park for me, very white, no trackfx, no seasonal adjusmtent etc but very very white in sections?

@jk0011 I try disable CSP and not fixing the probelm with the app, his display is still like image i posted and not like image you posted with nice timings etc? I install the app correctly, i enable in AC side bar and tick box in CM etc. But still it show like this. I do get neat sound effect when i set fast sector though, but no useful display.

Question - should you be able to skin a balloon/blimp/etc the same way you can skin a track? ie. Create skins/default and inside put a file with the correct texture name (I have checked this through 3DSimEd)?

paste this in skins config and plates should be removed:

[MODEL_REPLACEMENT_0]
FILE=lexus_rcf_gt3_acc.kn5
HIDE=DOOR_L_numberplate_b
INSERT=

FILE=lexus_rcf_gt3_acc.kn5
HIDE=DOOR_R_numberplate_b

Does anyone know why Paintshop in Custom Showroom does not work with some cars? I try to paint one car and it does nothing, but only some cars, with others it works perfectly. Is there a workaround for this?

Just open the skin folder and edit the png / dds file with Photoshop (make a backup if it doesnae work !), save it over the existing file and voilà.

ACF has released ICAR Montreal Airport, is this the same track that was posted here with the washed out textures, topspeed?

Can't figure out how to download it though :confused:

EDIT:

Figured it out, bit of a pain, you need DC++ (http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/). Then you need to connect to his server as per instructions on his YouTube videos. You also need to share at least 300MB worth of mod files to be able to access his files (lots of files!). Reminds me of Napster days!

Do they have tracks/cars not shown on his channel so far perhaps?

Well it looks like he has shared his full personal collection of tracks, a lot I seem to have, but some I haven't even heard of. I can't see any of his WIP stuff though other than the one in the video.

It is indeed the Topspeed track posted here and includes @Masscot's darkside skin in his rework. Taken a couple of basic shots to show difference:

One from here the other day with Dark Side skin:

Yes you can. There's a post here somewhere about it but if you can't find it ask @Masscot how it's done

The Darkside Skin wasn´t mine, @Masscot made it on top of my config changes. I didn´t changed the color of track himself, as posted RL video showed this original color just darker then the original track came with.

Help for new racedepartment style!
1.Use adblocker
2.Use resize (CTRL+- or +)
3.And click on the 3 lines.

I'm sure I clicked those 3 lines a million times the other day and it did nothing but now it hides the menu...they must have changed it over on RD but it's all good now. Looks much better :cheers:

Ah yes sorry mis-remembered! I should have checked, I've fixed the post thanks :cheers:

Does he have Autumn Ring with lights config?

The Darkside skin was mine, a very quick and half-assed exercise to try to improve a very badly textured track. I just darkened a bunch of textures in PS.
@slider666 did the initial config.

ACF's improvements look good but I'm not following a bunch of tasks just to get it. I also don't like the precedent this is setting going forward.

Seems modders are increasingly reluctant to share their work these days without Patreon subscriptions, donations, encryption, membership of sycophantic FB groups, a set number of meaningless YouTube 'likes' or any other number of hoops people have to jump through. Whatever happened to modding for the fun of it and wanting as many people as possible to try your work? Why do hobbies need to be monetised these days or involve some ego-inflating set of tasks? Are modders on power trips these days and really as insecure as some of them appear?

Some skins created for the 50s and 60s SimDreams mods. Cooper 1960 (Yeonman), fictional Ferrari 801 (from Lotus 18), Ferrari 158 (NART), new colors of gloves and overalls. Not very perfect, but worth the fun, at least offline.

Already fixed post thanks to @slider666 pointing out my mistake lol. I see what you mean though about why all of the hoops. I've left my PC for now until later, If no one else grabs the file and uploads it to mega or whatever, I'll do it later.

Does he have Autumn Ring with lights config?

I did see the track but no idea if it had lights config and I am not at PC now sorry.

EDIT: NVM I refreshed my page and saw you'd all posted about this ACF and DC++ ting lol.

Is it worth going through all the hoops to do this now or just wait till someone shares anything here :lol:
