I dunno I suppose it might just be my settings and ppfilter but the grass is a lot whiter in the new version and it just overall feels a bit washed out colour wise. Will have a mess about after some Warzone ;)
I'm thinking this may be to do with the new layout having no geo tags at all and also missing the vao patch of the Kunos track. Having no geo tags affects where the sun is, I think?

I've added the goe tags and vao to mine and took a couple of shots, there is definitely a difference, but not a great deal:

Thank you! I forgot this car is already in my inventory as it's not one of Zin5ki's best works (feels like it's still kinda in beta) and it appeared in very few races, but I'm happy to have it as a grid filler:)
Now if we could only find the Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by the likes of Scott pruett and Paul Gentilozzi that appeared in so many contests.

yes i have this one, but it's a '96 version of the car, so it does not "fit" with the others sadly.

Safer than licking door knobs in China. Have at it.

The car can be found by searching around. It's out there.

Now I have to clean myself up from spitting out all this salt water taffy from laughing after reading that Guerilla/kunos joke. Oh the mess.

Exactly. RTM 300ZX i would not buy. it handles very badly, no grip and you just look at the throttle and it spins. And that up to third gear. I use it only as a filler for the field.

Your grass definitely looks more like the original to my eyes now. I'll do the same..did you just copy the kunos vao and geo tags?

@norms
I noticed some strange shadow shimmering in replay. Is that because of the Zandvoort track needs to be optimized? Also see a strange shadow pop up on the windshield of the McLaren? Never noticed it before. Maybe because I swapped between CSP 1.50, 1.46 too much today?

None of that strange shimmering shadows on my end. I’m using CSP 1.48, it seems to be the latest where the track flags aren’t broken for me.

Yeah just made a copy of the vao and renamed it taking off the prefix ks_ to match the new track. Geotags I just copied from the Kunos track ui file into the new one.

I found this, this got some potentials, maybe you guys could upgrade this mod into its stock form and something proper!

Updated Alpha Romeo Giulietta Spider BoP'd to run with TC Legends Pack
Added LODs, adjusted steering and suspension to make it yet less wavy on track, adjusted tyre specs, adjusted bodywork so it wasn't slammed to the ground on track (more like what the preview indicates), added hood deformity.
Has 5 gears and adjustable final.
View attachment 904638 This does not overwrite the other car from Panda.

Hey now we got a great car and it's especially cool to add it to the Legends pack. Many thanks :cheers: and thanks to the original modder as well for making it possible.

Err I don't have any geo tags in the KS Zandvoort ui file...can I grab yours??

Easy done: in CM click on geo tags. You'll get a map with the location. If needed place the marker on the track and click OK. Geo tags will be added.

But here they are:
[
"52° 23′ 14″ N",
"4° 33′ 34″ E"
],

Cheers mate, I forgot you can do that in CM (I keep forgetting about lots of things these days!!)

Thanks a lot GIBBONS for your tutorial. I`ve managed to create some tyres and the car drives much better.
One the downside, a new problem arrives: when using extreme opposite locke, front suspension breaks down. Could it be View attachment 904830 View attachment 904831 related to tyre sizes?

I've never had an issue like that with a car so I'd be surprised if it's down to the tyres but I wouldn't like to say for sure. If it was on version 2 tyres then it's a pretty old mod, maybe worth checking the suspension and steering.

This has been discussed before, but have you used CM's Compress Files feature (Content > Tools)? It works incredibly well--compresses your mods by as much as 75% (100GB --> 25-40GB) by using Window's compression. On newer PC's, the compressed files will actually load faster for the graphics engine as the smaller files load in less time, then the processor decompresses the files quickly for your session--faster than an HD or SSD could load the larger, uncompressed files.
yeah everythings been compressed already, i just need to get a 2tb drive

Just another just in case check; I have a bad habit of not deleting packages from my downloads folde after I install them until one day I happened to check and saw that I had over 200 gig of compressed download files. Sheesh! I quickly cleaned it up and viola...

I keep doing that for myself because in most cases the tags are off (an very far off in some)...
Then I look up the track location in Google Earth to find the exact one.
Can't help myself... it needs to be correct... :D

No harm in having things as they should be - especially if it affects things like the sun being in the wrong place and how the track looks.

So thanks to your geo tags and @norms suggestion to copy the vao patch, Zandvoort looks much better now and is considerably darker and not washed out anymore :cheers:

I took a look at this but can't find an extension foder in data. Is it elsewhere?

You have to create a folder called 'extension' (lower case) and then in there you create a text file and then rename it ext_config.ini (remove the .txt at the end)

then just add the values in this ini file

[AUDIO_VOLUME]
ENGINE_EXT = 1.0
ENGINE_INT = 1.0
GEAR_EXT = 1.0
GEAR_INT = 1.0
BODYWORK = 1.0
WIND = 1.0
DIRT = 1.0
DOWN_SHIFT = 1.0
HORN = 1.0
GEAR_GRIND = 1.0
BACKFIRE_EXT = 1.0
BACKFIRE_INT = 1.0
TRACTION_CONTROL_EXT = 1.0
TRACTION_CONTROL_INT = 1.0
TRANSMISSION = 1.0
LIMITER = 1.0
TURBO = 1.0

Don't forget to save it lol

Do we need every single value or can we pick and choose single values under [AUDIO_VOLUME]?
Can I just have ENGINE_EXT=0.8 and it will still work?

The way I see it is only the values you put in ext_config take effect...but i'm only guessing with my limited knowledge of this.

Another version for the fictitious Lancia-Ferrari 801/1957. This from the Maserati 12 cyl. original Kunos. I managed to make a temporary skin to see how the position of the logos and numbering would look. I managed to change the steering wheel logo, it didn't look very good, but that's what I got. There are some prints. I intend to make the skins I made from Lotus 16, for that version, it is not very complicated.
