Has anyone ever had the problem that they suddenly had no external car sounds? very weird

Anyone know of a circuit free or paid that's similar to the New York one from Gran Turismo 4 or Forza Motorsport 2? Preferably with Time's Square included?

So far I have Chicago, Las Vegas, Tokyo Route R246, Macau, London and San Francisco but the last 2 have bugged AI.
