@JK1977 I don't think you've acknowledged the various reports about the Mustang default gear ratios - are there any plans to update it? Thanks.
A dash-mounted gear selection indicator would be very useful too, if possible.

no lights on the back for the black number 51 skin, lights work on the other skins @JK1977

i tried sorting it myself but got no where.
 
After testing, The mustang's physics is just made up of fairytales and imaginations. The best it can do that i have found is an 54.9 by Stefan Mücke at Norisring
I however, some random fella like me can do 51.7's at the same track... Seriously doubt that i should be a whole 3 seconds quicker by an irl driver at the same track, Be it in a sim or not.

It gets even worse at Avus, Qualifying lap time that year were 56's. Mustangs were only capable at doing 1:03's.

Pray that someone makes actual good physics for this car one day or that Tommy78 decides to pull up his sleaves and give us an proper 1992 DTM season, Seeing as his physics so far isn't made up of Fairytales and imaginations.

Oh yeah can't wait to drive his sublime PS3-era encrypted, "100% scratch made" (no please don't look at the PC2/FM4 bits he nicked, it's a coincidence!) pieces of turd with different parts that don't even work in CM (whilst others figured it out...) for the modique somme of 35€ too !

Just so I can **** on modders who offer things for free because the car is a tad faster than real life.

I'm excited to publish the second livery of my team's Itasha on Subaru BRZ. This time, It is Kaela Kolvaskia's Itasha for the Subaru BRZ GT300.

This is part of my team's livery builds in 2024 (the Livery was made by myself but used two permitted artworks). It was based on what I had in mind of my certain friend's Inspiration, but then again, it looked realistic, based on mandatory banners and numberplates for this year's Autobacs Super GT. Making it a sister car to the #78 #SubaruInSubaru

Let me share some synopsis of each important part, once again.
1) Mirablau Motorsports

Mirablau Motorsports is one of many Simracing teams created in September 2019. It was introduced during the Indonesian Digital Motorsports Championship 2019, and I was the founder and the only driver. After various highs and lows, our team now has nine drivers as of December 2024, and we will try to keep up with the world of Simracing.

2) Subaru BRZ R&D SPORT GT300 2024

Subaru BRZ was first introduced in 2012 as part of a collaborative project between Toyota, Subaru, and Scion (86, BRZ, and FR-S respectively) and 9 years later, in 2021, the second generation was built. R&D Sports responded with a major redesign following the base design of GTA-GT300 BRZ used from 2012 to 2020.

By the time it was launched, the BRZ Gen 2 won the GT300 class championship. This year, the redesign was made to compete with evolved cars across three sub-classes, the FIA GT3, GTA-GT300, and Mother Chassis Class.

Unfortunately, due to multiple reliability issues with the new iteration of BRZ, the R&D Sports only secured 16th place in Standings, without a podium finish, and only finished 5th once at Rd.6 of 8, the Sugo 300km Race.

4) Kaela Kolvaskia

My thoughts on Kaela's Appearance, Illustrated by: @Akaoni_TELLY66

Kaela Kovalskia is the second member of Hololive Indonesia's Third Generation group, also known as the HoloH3roes. She is the second in line to debut after Vestia Zeta and before Kobo Kanaeru.

She is known to be a calm and collected blacksmith, which originally thought to be another penguin due to their similarity in appearance (color-wise) and her name "Kovalski"a. Which we all can call out, "Kovalskia, Analysis!" As time went on, in 2023, she introduced her second personality, "Ckia", the child version of herself, and of course, the "Goriela", introduced during the second costume (Kimono) reveal.

She is well known to be an endurance streamer, even crazier than Moona Hoshinova (HoloID's 1st Gen member) in terms of how long she streamed on Minecraft, ranging from 3h (Considered as sprint) to a mind-boggling 16h Raft Stream. She is also known to create some memes of her own, including the aforementioned "Goriela", multiple mascots (Galon-Ela, and Blacksmith Penguins), and some catchphrases that to this day still in use, the "Get Some Help", "Dahlah" (Whatever), and of course "JDON MY SOUL!!!" (Author note: I'm sorry, Bae, I HAD TO DO IT.)

Why would I create this livery?

I made the livery out of a sense of productivity since I still have a lot of free time and I would make a livery based on my team's take on Oozora Subaru. Again, the Subaru BRZ GT300 by Maeda-san (@Med_Kzk_5686) is brilliant.

This time, I would replace my team's blue with WR Blue Mica, and fit the Red-Orange colors of Kaela Kovalskia that are usually used in the stream background. I also replaced the Subaru's Duckbeak with Gorilla face although it IS low effort... I have to repair it in the next version.

Of course, it would not be complete without some funny catchphrases she made, similar to #SubaruInSubaru's layout, and yes, we have three artworks, One as the main sides (Illustrated by: @Akaoni_TELLY66), One at the Wing Endplates, and One at left Rear bumper section (both Illustrated by @ura_lowtension).

What will you get in this download:
  • Main car skin file (that's what you people asked for, hahaha.)
  • Screenshots, featuring the pictures that showed the #ElaMobile!
  • The installation procedure in "Readme Here!.txt"

Alright, since I explained almost everything in this post, I would like to share some credits for the artwork and cars done, as I said, it is not my artwork built, but it would not be complete without their efforts;

As far as the optics are concerned, there is something you can do (additional display for the gear, or something with the front lights)
You can also do something with the gear ratios, the problem is that you don't know much about the car

just cause a mod is free does not make it immune to criticism.

I'd ideally prefer you to do it yourself since you did ask for feedback. That way, it's part of your 'official' car, rather than someone else editing it.

And you're quite right, I don't know much about the car at all.

I hope I didn't express myself incorrectly, I'm obviously very grateful for the feedback because we all enjoy motorsport and sim racing.
Ah, no worries, seems like something got lost in translation. Despite lack of data, if the Mustang had default gear ratios suitable for Hockenheim (for example) then that would be a step in the right direction. At the moment the default ratios are way too short for general pick-up-and-play DTM use.

Hey guys, I made a proper video that demonstrates how amazing Assetto Corsa classic Formula-1 can be.

1. You have top notch cars (ASR 1992)
2. You have top notch tracks (Shin's and others' insanely good 1992 track pack)
3. Delicately set up championship settings
4. Personally, I like 20 lap races so that the race is about 30 minutes, plus 15 minutes qualifying and 1 mandatory pitstop for all cars. I don't think it feels like a real race without mandatory pitting.
5. Added sparks

Result: Insanely accurate season, with Mansell totally dominating in his completely SUPERIOR active suspension Williams FW14B (AI 100). When player is fighting back with Senna (McLaren) MP4/6B-MP4/7A you gotta be quite damn good sim racer if you want to beat him.

AI is as flawless as it can be on AC due to superior tracks and cars. No crawling cars, no traffic jams, no insane aggression (when all has been set up properly). You will have the best classic F1 experience you can get.

As much as I love AMS2 and what they're doing and rF2 they don't come even CLOSE. Watch the video and see how amazing AC can be. (My new 1992-1993 Leaderboard mod). Enjoy.

Put subtitles on. They will describe what driver and track it is. All 16 tracks.

The only thing keeping it from being perfection is that I'm a huge Alain Prost fan and Prost was having a sabbatical that year. And Mansell's Williams was just so superior. The ASR car are perfect and the tracks. But that genuine season is not one of my favs.

RSS 1990 cars are just as good, imho. But they require much more fine tuning in the settings before QF and race. And as much as people hate the SD cars my 1988 season is amazing. Sure the cars are not as high quality but I've managed to make it almost all trouble free season and the results are incredibly realistic. I'm always driving Prost in those seasons. 1990 was priceless when he fought against Senna in a Ferrari. For me that era was F1 in its peak. Well maybe 1985 was the peak (as there were 7 world champions on the grid at the same time). We still don't have good 1985 cars that can be shared publicly. What a shame.

Singapore, Korea, India, Abu Dhabi and COTA for 2012?

Of course I have to create correct ads for the tracks but I wouldn't want to waste my time if there's better track versions available. Not really following F1 that new so much.

How about those 5 tracks that I mentioned? Has someone already made tracks with 2012 sponsors? If not, I will create them. I have tested excessively all other circuits in the calendar and I know the best ones but for those five I need some guidance.

Drivetrain update for the '92 DTM mustang based on Raceroom data

New 1st-5th.rto / new final.rto / updated drivetrain.ini default gears and H-pattrern shifting ( I think the car was a H-pattern) / new power.lut (540bhp) / updated ai.ini / updated ui for new power.lut / updated setup.ini

To use unpack the cars data folder in CM, rename the data.acd to something like data.old (you can always go back this way), unpack the zip and copy paste files into data / ui folders.

Edit a little info on the real car found on the internet somewhere...

Requested VR Driving to use AI to do the physics for this Mustang DTM. Now included Graveltrap's gearing as VRD's team wasn't able to find accurate data on it.

They rebuild the physics completely, new aero, suspension, tires, engine, power, brakes etc.

The link seems broken to me, maybe its just me but I keep getting an error
EDIT: It worked just now. My bad
So is this only the download that includes the gearing or did it change the physics too? It might be in my head but it felt much more floaty and the tires felt very slick in your download?
