Can anybody give me a hand to why the GTC60 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 not working after i installed the Kn5 files from GADU Boyz.
Ive done it for the 250 GTO and the TVR but for some reason the alfa doesn't work i tried both the Endurance and the base model.

Upon loading the GTC Alfa TZ, GADU version correctly installed, csp024p1

It seems CSP version related. Somewhere in the coming week(s) we will release a patch covering this.

Of course... Old Spa was notorious for its bumps... but there is a whole range between bumpy track and literally riding street side kerbs. On a DD wheel that can feel exaggerated due to the speed (and force) of directional change. The last thing I want is to turn Spa into a billiard table smooth modern F1 track. It's just that the current surface is full of holes and sharp edged bumps, making racing here very difficult.

It's not bad everywhere but for example exit Eau Rouge (on top) and after Burnenville, exit Malmedy, parts of Masta Straight exit Blanchimont and single last turn before La Source are really bad.
Yes I agree with you as long as everything is balanced and everyone feels equally good whether they own big new equipment or an old steering wheel, I say that, but I don't know to what extent it would affect adjusting a circuit too much for a Direct Drive compared to the old steering wheel, that's a kind of question mark on my part.

It's not a big deal in the end, at least not for this track because the physical road mesh is it's own kn5 file. Sergio does it with his tracks. He provides alternate road mesh kn5 files that can be swapped around for those that want a smoother ride or a bumpier ride. First I need to learn how to adjust the physical road mesh.

Let me just add that the Spa'66 may be a little bumpy, the bigger problem is that there are some mesh holes in several places at the edges of the track where you would put your outside wheel to get a better angle for the oncoming apex. The whole wheel or both front and rear would fall into it and you'd probably lose the car.

I've found 3 places which ender or almost ended races :D
1. Raidillon to Kemmel section on the left edge of the track - sections from 2 to 3 on the map image
2. La Carriere - right side of the track preparing for left kink before the right kink at the "Grandma's house" :D - section 10 on the map image
3. After the house, the next right kink - left side of the track has a hole just as you'd want to get a better angle and turn right into that kink - section just before 12 on the map image

Yes, in the case of multiple meshes of different levels, for sure, it is the best.

Good good...., but not everyone has a DD and players who still play with old equipment, will they still feel the effects of the road once the circuit is set for a Direct Drive?
That's not really how it works, you don't 'set a track' for any wheel, i know DD wheel users who don't even use the FFB at all in competitive iRacing and other online stuff.
DD is more than just everything turned to 11, the reality is many tracks have rubbish road meshes if they came from GTR or Rfactor.

I really wish there was a way for CM to update mods without losing all the names and custom edits done to the ui_car.json. Would be nice if the version number was its own file for example version.json so that can be updated and the other data left or something along those lines.
You can prevent CM to update the ui_car.json files when you do auto updates trough CM.

When the mod has downloaded the update etc you can press an little + sign right above the big green INSTALL button, pressing that will bring up an menu letting you choose what you want to install from that update.

You can press one of the options that exludes preview images and car ui

Im aware of that but then the version number doesnt update, thats what I was getting at, I want mod version number and name/description/etc in separate files

great car's thankyou.

I have found 1 issue: the gtr/gtp variant has tyre blur, the gtr/gtu has rear tyre blur but not the front, and the other variant has no tyre blur at all.

probably not a concern if your in cockpit i guess but seeing as i dont use that view i thought i would mention it. I have never seen rear tyres blur but not the front. Its normally either all or nothing.

Thanks for the report, all the tyre/wheel variants were abit difficult to assemble and sort out... I thought I had corrected them all.
Likely only some skins from some variants have this issue. This was a 3 year project with many starts and stops and challenges along the way, with the major focus on my end being the physics treatments.

Possibly the only way to sort it is with some help detailing exactly which skins per variant need correction. If you wish to catalog them, please PM me with a list of those affected.

I totally understand, its a great bunch of car's i do not want to sound like i am nit picking i was 50/50 on even mentioning it tbh.

yeh i can do that, i will have a look and see exactly what skins are effected and drop you a pm later today/tomorrow with the results.

Thanks a lot. Some powerful 924s are really welcome :-)
I noticed that the helmets are not completely hidden in the cockpit view. Changing these lines in the driver3d.ini files cured the prob:

[HIDE_OBJECT_0]
NAME=DRIVER:HELMET1985

[HIDE_OBJECT_1]
NAME=DRIVER:GLASS_1985

[HIDE_OBJECT_2]
NAME=DRIVER:GEO_Driver_FACE

Hello guys, is it possible for someone to edit the H22 Buenos Aires track to create the layout F1 used from 1995 to 1998 (it is called layout 6S). Circuit 6 is the closest but instead of using the "Senna-S" corner it is using the "Tobogan", so it would be cool if someone could remove the cones that are leading to the Senna-S corner and adapt the ai line or map or something that the cars do take this corner which they do in No. 9 circuit, would do it myself if I was capable of doing it but I'm not unfotunately.

Hope somebody can help!

For what it's worth I have an old thrustmaster T300 and I turn my FFB down to about 40% when driving Spa 66. I don't do that for any other track in Assetto Corsa.

Thank you, noted for update

I'm getting this strange grayscale look with the C13 Aegis filter (v.2.14). It's been like this with the last couple of versions of the filter as well. This version apparently has scripts for both Pure Gamma and LCS; the attached image is from Pure Gamma. I've done a fresh install of all PPF files. BTW, the LCS looks even more messed up. Any ideas?

Happy New Year

48 new or updated cars (including 6 new models never seen in AC before), only a few encrypted where it was the request/condition of the modeller. If you want to contribute or improve the cars, reach out.

There's a manual with installation instructions, credits (apologies if anyone's missed, DM and we can change it), a donate button and much more.

Please note the Alfa Romeo TZ2 will only work on CSP versions prior to v0.2.3 at the moment.

Highly recommended with Alguecool's magnificent DeTomaso and Piper mods and Pasta, Bazza & co's the Alfa T33/2 from Overtake.gg

Enjoy!
For some reason the WSC60 Ferrari 330 P4 Spyder doesn't work for me (Failed to read car model, it might be due to encryption, if possible, consider not using it).
So I can't drive it, can't see it in showroom. The Berlinetta is OK...
Anyone else ?

EDIT:
@PGMurphy Pure GAMMA and C13 Aegis filter (v.2.14)
With Pure LCS it looks about the same.
Did you try to reset to default in the Pure PP app ?

Question:

I just updated my csp to 0.2.5 and i fixed all the little issues apart from 1, which is on all kunos tracks i have a snow effect and no 3d grassfx the 3 or 4 modded tracks i quickly tried are unaffected. I have reverted back to 0.2.4 but i still have the issue. Has anyone come across this?

cheers

Drove around both sides of the track and noted where there were issues with holes. At least the ones I could find. Eau Rouge\Raidillon is fixed. Kemmel and Les Combes will be fixed shortly. Problem is, I can't find the other two you mentioned. Any chance you could make some screenshots of the general area you are referring to? Thanks...

And BTW, where were you people when I released the track in 2022? I specifically asked for people to point out mistakes so I could fix them and no one said anything about the holes in the road. I just assumed everything was fine for the past two years. Just joking of course. Thanks for making me aware so I could clean things up.

It's working on my install. No idea what could be the issue on your end.
