First, thank a lot for share this awesome pack. Now, a little trifle...

The XX's rear window reflects the asphalt on the inside, which is visible in the rearview mirror when driving in first-person view and is quite annoying; my limited knowledge does not allow me to fix that little bug. Would you be so kind as to take a look at it to see if it can be fixed?

Thanks again!
Thank you, I have identified your problem , for the moment I can’t solve my tests , if someone has a solution I would integrate it in a future update ....

Any chance this skin gets done for the URD 992 Cup car.

I have used the AI Pit App extensively, over many versions, and I can tell you that it still has a long way to go. It has plenty of bugs and issues. I've deleted the app - which, by the way, was not enough, as the "surfaces.ini" swapper that it uses often malfunctions - and unsubscribed from his Patreon for the medium term.

The hope is that he gets in contact with Ilja and somehow folds the app into CSP - obviously, AI Pit strategies are important enough of a concept to be considered for "official" CSP integration, which would likely materialize a significantly more stable platform for it (especially since each new CSP, both public and preview, generally breaks the app in one major way or another).

It's a valiant and worthy crusade to work AI mandatory pit strategies in for the purpose of furthering AC as a single-player sim - and thus I'm rooting for him to figure out - but I'd say the app is not worth using at the moment.
I like it. And just to clarify as I didn't have time to reply properly earlier - I mean, we've all got totally different systems, running totally different csp settings so the potential for things to go wrong is nigh on endless. Having said that, I've honestly not had an issue with the pit app, like not even one. I have reported an issue with his Blue/yellow flag app which was causing the AI to swerve at the start of a new lap but that's now been rectified. Sorry to hear you and Jezza haven't got on with his apps but they've improved my single player experience immensely! Hopefully, he can find and fix a resolution for the issues you've been facing.

hello,

Does anyone knows how to fix this line? I tried doing merge vertices, using flat_nm texture but whatever i can't get ride of it.

Hi everyone, I have a little problem with a rollcage, I can’t "unfold" it to generate the AO with content manager

Would anyone have time to look? thank you!

Try this:

1) select the mesh and go in edit mode (all vertex selected)
2) alt + j
3) merge vertex from distance
4) press u
5) unwrap - minimal stretch (make sure you have magic UV plugin installed)

If everything worked correctly you will have a clean UV map with minimum distortion :dopey:

Big Thanks !!

of late I'm getting one (approx. 0.5 second) freeze each session about 5 seconds after launch of each race (and then it's smooth as butter..)

pretty annoying as you can imagine.

Anyone here recognizes this and found a solution or has a suggestion for me to try?

Had them for a while, but not since the latest CSP. Thankfully.

Still have them too. Latest CSP and pure.
In some cases, like a race on the latest Daytona or Potrero I have to wait minutes until the comatose state goes away.

I was just about going to disable all the apps one by one (so sad) to see if it gets any better...

Last day (CSPv0.2.5preview1) I got a freeze longer than 15 seconds during a race with AI, everything went perfect until then and since then but... 15 seconds blind mate, I wanted to kill.

Is there a surfaces.ini for Bridgehampton that makes the sand patches kickoff some dust, when driven over? Would be a nice touch for this stunning track.

You can just increase the DIRT_ADDITIVE number for any material in the surface.ini file and it will add the dust. Increase by 0.1 until desired effect.
Yes in theory I know how it works, practically it does not work.

I have tried it myself, but adding surfaces does not have any effect.
It should have partly the name of the mesh in the "key=XYZ" line (yes all capital letters) and I know about the DIRT_ADDITIVE number.

BUT, it still does not work for the sandpatches at the pit area and on track.

pitsand_SUB0, pitsand_SUB1, sand (sandlayer on the road) are the names of the meshes.

Here is the link to the first pack of F1 1972 cars

BRABHAM / BRM / FERRARI

***********IMPORTANT: FIX (.kn5 ) 1972_brm_160c_NEW
"1972_brm160c_aut.ita"

DRIVER_70_fe

  • Brabham Bt33
  • Brabham Bt34
  • Brabham Bt37
  • BRM 160B
  • BRM 160B (Brazil Extra)

- BRM 160 C (here there are two .kn5 files (you will have to manually modify the "lods" file in the "DATA" folder).
a) Beltoise British Gp and Team BRM/German Gp) = gbr.ger
b) Team BRM - Italian and USA Gp = aut.ita

- BRM 180

  • Ferrari 312b2 / Argentina and Brazil Extra
  • Ferrari 312b2 / Final Season
  • Ferrari 312b2 / Middle
  • Ferrari 312b2 / Monaco Gp with one adaptation
  • Ferrari 312b2 / South Africa Gp

Almost all skins (support two types of 3d driver (with the respective files already included)
a) driver_70
b) driver_70_fe (I'll share the file link again), this is my favorite.

Depending on which of the two you use, you'll have to manually modify the "driver3d" file in the "DATA" folder.

Some problem will certainly arise, and I also had to rebuild some cars again after I completely lost my HD (where I had my Assetto Corsa installed).

Fortunately, most of the F1 mod packs were backed up, but about half of my car files and 100% of the tracks (I need to download or find the links).

I'll have to rebuild and edit some cars again, but maybe I'll be able to recover by the end of the year.

IMPORTANT:
Always thanking the partner "MrHUNT" for helping with texture improvements and other problems that appear. In some cars from other packs (this partnership will be missing).

Not atm, but imo it would be useful to name the cars in question, so others can check ?
Good day Fanapryde and @Aaron Green,

Apologies for this late reply on the matter. I was able to solve this weird problem with the engine sounds going numb on 1 or 2 cars.

The car in question is a modded (No Hesi) BMW M4 (ADRO). I know, it's one of those overexaggerated cars with too much grip and
too much well, ehh everything to be honest...

Anyway, I had a look at the audio setting in AC and turned down the master volume from 1.0 to 0.4 and voila...all good now. Still fiddling around with the settings, but 1.0 for master volume is killing the engine sounds on this one again from ~120km/h. Lower than 1.0 seems to do the trick with no affect on other cars. I'll keep it this way.

Yes in theory I know how it works, practically it does not work.

I have tried it myself, but adding surfaces does not have any effect.
It should have partly the name of the mesh in the "key=XYZ" line (yes all capital letters) and I know about the DIRT_ADDITIVE number.

BUT, it still does not work for the sandpatches at the pit area and on track.

pitsand_SUB0, pitsand_SUB1, sand (sandlayer on the road) are the names of the meshes.
meshes must have physical properties (1pitsand_SUB0, 1pitsand_SUB1)

There was some talk about the E46 M3 CSL a little while back, but the links are mostly dead.

I can help with the physics, I have already done a bit of research (I have the aftersales manual and alignment sheet so far), but when it comes to the 3D I have no clue.... Is there a recent model of the car available anywhere?

I can use the E46 M3 that was posted as a mule, but it would be good to have the real deal in the game, GTP project?

Hey, I noticed a small typo on the skin folder for the ToroRosso, you've put a second R making it TorroRosso so when installing it doesn't go to the car folder ;) Anyway thanks for the update this cars are amazing

Invisible left rear suspension on the Codies Williams, weirdly enough it is there but it's just not rendering in game for whatever reason lol
