Assetto Corsa gameplay with the Ferrari LaFerrari, the video is a lap at Barbagallo Raceway (Mod) with five simultaneous cameras.

Some great videos in here.

I wonder if I'm alone with this, but does anybody else like to really mix up car classes (and I mean really mixed, each with their own advantages), throw themselves into the middle of a full grid, have a blast of a race and then sit and admire the replay?

I'm particularly keen on the static camera views watching so many different iconic cars duke it out, and thankfully there are numerous mods out there with fantastic sounds, so it's amazing to listen to each car roar by too.

Maybe I'm just easily pleased, but normally my attention span is very short these days, but this game, damn I have lost so many hours of my life to it. I'll upload some replays if anyone is interested, it fascinates me at least.

hi
Comparison of Corsican assetto with normal graphics compared to the Mod Inanimate Carbon which gives a more realistic color and saturation.

greeting

Some gameplay with an f1 2014 season mod in the last few laps of a race. Very good mod in my view, just hope the constant updates don't render it useless.

Mixing completely different vehicles because why not? I tried with karts mixed in too but the poor drivers went home in a coffin and some body parts are yet to be found. For some reason I am getting a lot of stutter watching this on Youtube, even when the in game and video player frame rate and frame times are 60fps/16.6ms? Bad for me on Chrome at 60fps and a slideshow on Firefox at 30fps.

Anyway, I love hooning around in the truck! I need to do a 24 truck race sometime.

So I found this new sound mod for the Corvette DP:

If I'm honest, I find its not really that good. Its ok in the low RPMs, but its off beyond that.

Also I don't know how I didn't notice this before, but this car appears to be missing the Side Exhausts and much wider Rear Wing of the 2014 Corvette. Of course from what I read its a BETA so its not entirely complete I know but its just something I noticed (mostly the fact that backfire is materializing out of nowhere on the sides under braking), that and I have no idea who the hell made this. Other then that, not bad for a mod done from scratch.

Edit: *Sigh* I thought by now someone would've made a up-to-date Daytona Mod but unfortunately, All I've managed to find is the exact same outdated track that's just been converted from rFactor :indiff:

Interesting sound in that example, but not much like the Corvette C6, so I took that from the std model Corvette which seemed to be the nearest engine wise to the two DP's. Don't know if it is the intended way for these machines to sound but it works ok for me.

Gah, think I'm having problems with Shadowplay. Recorded this at locked 60fps with better action and camera angles, but the recording stuttered every single second. This recording came out smoother but my frame rate kept dropping randomly :( Nvidia plz.

High speed shootout between some of the fastest hypercars, some LMPs, various eras of F1 cars and myself in a 215mph big turbo Supra with sticky tyres (otherwise on normal tyres I was getting left in the dust).

Does the framerate of Shadowplay match the framerate of your PC and monitor?
Another interesting video btw:tup:

It has virtually no performance hit and it records up to 4K, 60fps and IIRC 50-60mb/s bitrate. It's been a bit iffy the last couple of days though, if I have Shadowplay on for a while I start getting random frame drops, tearing or stutter when recording. I'm using the beta drivers though.

One thing I did notice is that while gaming, core clocks were running in the 1500-1550's MHZ at 105% power draw, but while recording that video, it was anywhere from the mid 1300's up to 1480Mhz and often over 110% power draw? Hmm...

Yet yesterday while recording a funny glitch in Ryse, core clocks were pegged at 1536Mhz and never budged. PC's are funny things.

Thanks for posting the videos and here's some free advice. Slow down:lol: No offense but it seems like you've carried over some controller bad habits to the G27. Pedal/button mashing, cranking the wheel hard over, corner entry way too fast etc. You'll be much faster if you brake a little earlier, have a nice, smooth controlled entry and power out of the corners as early as possible using the most track possible. Your steering inputs should be quite minimal unless you make a mistake. When it comes to PC driving sims, smooth is fast. Control is fast. Consistency is fast. Pedal mashing is never fast:tup:👍👍

Try going slower in and faster out and watch your lap times fall dramatically. You can thank me later:cool:

I also think his steering settings are not 900 degrees. Open up your Logitech configurator and fix it!

Thank you. Yes, "pedal mashing" is carried over. Bad habit, indeed :D but let me try your advice. See if it works and I will post a new video :D

He probably just wants to feel the awesome ffb. Who can blame him really. :P

Honestly I am not comfortable with default FFB settings, in those video I reduce FFB to 30%.

Sorry, I just instantly plug in the wheel and it works like that, and then I wondering too why the wheel is not 900 degrees...I will take a look into Logitech Profiler later.

Guys, TBH, I never skilled at racing sim, in fact, I am about to quit racing sim since GT6. I initially bought this G27 because I just want to know the feeling to drive using steering wheels. Back in GT Academy 2013, I was able to achieve top 10 in my country with this steering wheel. That is the only thing I feel awesome that I can achieve.

Because I am a more typical of casual gamer. I never know how to drive (fast) properly. For me, Johnnypenso's comment is ringing a bell into my head, determining if I will back into racing sim, take it seriously or not and just quit racing sim. :D I do this only for hobbies after all.

You must run the Logitech Profiler each time you use the wheel on the PC. It has to be open for the wheel to work. You can use a global profile or set up one specifically for AC. It will still work, but won't work properly without the Profiler open. If you have any trouble don't hesitate to ask, I have the G27 and I have it dialed in pretty good.

About your spoiler, if you finished in the top ten in your country in GT Academy you have some skills and they will translate to AC or any other sim. Most of the principles are the same, you just have to take a slower, more measured approach because the car acts more like a real car.

Made my first gameplay vid:

I'm by no means an expert driver, but its fun to play with the Ruf. Cross posted from Yellowbird thread.
