Isn't that a beautiful mod? I remember the first day I installed it, I was blown away at the scenery and texturing. Who knows? Maybe it's not the prettiest when you zoom in up close or drive 5 mph, but I think it looks awesome when you've got the pedal to the metal.

[DOWNLOAD ME BABY!] ;)

Yup, that`s the one I was using. Did some practise laps in the Mazda MX5 Cup car and it`s awesome to just look at all the skycrapers in VR.

@Harry6784 - Very nice driving, as always...You can definitely throw down some fast lap times! You're right... The 72D is definitely a fun car. I don't enjoy "modern" open-wheel cars. Basically, anything from the 1980s to present day. They're just too much car for me.

Special event "Flat Sixes" Porsche GT3 RS Race at Barcelona Moto.
Good race against the AI with some very good overtakes.

I was going for the basic showcase idea as seen in GT5 but like GT5 it's kind of boring and screams "Give me a commentary!". Meh Oh well!

I think I posted one before, but sticking all three together. I'm already much faster in these cars than shown on the video, which was when I tried them for my first seven laps or so. I also spin out on the first lap in each car I believe. But that is what these videos are for!

Hi all,
as you probably know, there is a new firmware for the PS4. With the 4.50 firmware there is a new boost mode for the PS4 Pro, and I made a comparison video of the loading times in Assetto Corsa between the PS4 and the PS4 Pro with the new boost mode.
The PS4 Pro is a lot faster.
I will upload a video of gameplay later on. Also the difference in gameplay is very big.

After driving all cars except a few racecars at Nurburgring I tried to find my favourite :)

Based on the title of your video and the contents of your post I thought I'd you'd be comparing various cars or at least describing why you chose the Toyota AE86. ::shrugs:: :boggled:

@Pete05 - Hey buddy...I saw you gave a thumbs up to the video above this post -- the Mercedes C9... I've been wanting to ask you this question and now seems like a perfect time, especially based on what we both saw in this video. I've seen you write in other threads that you're an old school D-pad controller with car games. And I totally get why you don't want to even bother with AC since they made the insane decision of not allowing custom mappings for console users....how the heck can you drive a car like the C9 in the video? Are you able to tap those buttons that fast to keep the car under control? Left-Right-Left-Right-Left-Right? I'm assuming that's what you meant when you said you use the D-pad for driving. Or am I mistaken? I can't use those controllers for anything -- so many damn buttons!!

G'day @ALB123

Yeah, it's a series of taps in whichever direction is needed on the D-pad for steering.
It's very rare indeed that I'll need to change the controller setting in GT to anything other than '1' for the sensitivity.
The braking & acceleration are taken care of by rolling on or off the buttons.
Gears are L2 for down the box & R2 for next gear please.

I've used the same controller settings for all GT games from the start & if a custom button map is available, that's what I'll use for other driving games too.

If I delve deep into the grey matter, I can only think of one or two games that didn't offer an option for gear changes in which case I used L1 & R1 instead.

In the case of the Sauber C9, or anything with that much potency, before you even select the car from the garage, it's a good idea to take a good dose of respect or you'll land somewhere in the scenery.

Damn...I couldn't even imagine trying to control those crazy cars with a controller. I can barely keep 'em on the road with a steering wheel. I can't imagine why the heck Kunos made the controller mappings unchangeable. So stupid.

When loading the nordschleife, the difference between the PS4 and the PS4 Pro with boost mode is very big. The PS4 Pro is 16 seconds faster.
I also have the feeling that the game looks a little bit better, nothing big but I have the feeling that the PS4 Pro with boost mode makes the whole game look a little bit cleaner.

It's taken years of practice my friend but, there is a limit.
For example, that crazy Adrian Newey creation, Red Bull fan car test that you try and beat Vettel around Monza or, drive the car at Goodwood is a step too far. I haven't been able to tick that off. Call it a lack of interest in fantasy cars if you will :yuck:
I'd love to join you in AC land but it just doesn't seem like that possible at the moment :indiff:

Those Red Bull cars are foolish anyway... Stick with the real life vehicles.
