Even though it's just a rebodied Vantage, I still really like the DB10. Interesting to see how much of it's styling cues will evolve to the DB11.

More about the car's conception here, includes what we already know:

Looks horrible, on the one hand it looks cheap because the Ford Fiesta has a dash and wheel like that then to make it worse they melted eveything slightly. Way too overdone imo.

I like it, it looks cool. The dash is layered and if you look closely (not for those on phones) you'll see that the speedometer is more pronounced then the temp oil and water gauges. Also if you look close at the needle, under there is a dot that it is pointed to and the numbers are slight offset so the driver knows the speed without such a wide needle blocking it as is seen.

Also on the tach it looks like there may be a rev light or some kind of indicator in the corner. Either way it looks cool. My only gripe is the amount of leather used for the shifter and how it looks like a turkey neck somewhat in finished trim which isn't all the sexy compared to the rest of the interior.

There's even gonna be a Spectre Scalextric set soon with this Aston DB10 in 1:32 scale goodness for all you slot car fans out there! There are slot car fans on GTPlanet, right?

I have a die another day Scalextric model.

The DB10 isn't as beautiful as the old DB9s and such, but I do think it is a great-looking car. I don't really think the DB10 is the best-looking British car today. That honor goes to the Jaguar F-Type to me. One thing about certain cars is that you make a certain generation car to be the face of that company for some time. So if there a car that doesn't look all that good to you, you'll have to get used to it until the next variation unless it doesn't get a refresh or a new model. That's why, for example, I couldn't really get into the Ferrari 458 Italia after I've loved the 360 Modena and the F430. That's why I didn't really like the Gallardo until the Huracan came. Even though I find beauty in simplistic design, the DB10 could use a bit more aggression up front. You can be mean and still look amazing. Look at the DB9 or that Zagato Aston Martin. The DB10 needs some extra aggression up front to really wow me. And then, maybe have some more style at the rear.

Otherwise... me gusta.

i read in an article that the ignition used a fingerprint scanner so that Bond is the only one who can use it, but it's weird though. Some of you who have seen the movie would know that :

The DB10 which is intended originally for Bond, has been reassigned for 009 because of the Mexico situation. Which means either it's a tiny goof or Q hasn't register any fingerprint on the car
