I'm sorry I can't make this.
I forgot to say during the week as I have been busy and that is partly the reason why I can't make it.
The other weekend my dad and I bought an Mazda mx-5 MK1 and we are restoring it to classic and engine upgrading it. We will probably then track it. So basically I'm getting dirty playing with engines today so can't make it. Sorry.
At least I have a fair excuse I think though.

Just a heads up to anyone racing tonight, if we do not have 6 people in the room by 20:15 GMT+10, the race will be postponed till next week. No if's, but's and maybe's about it.

No problem, real life car stuff comes well before the virtual car stuff. :)👍

I'm really sorry NW48 and everybody else but I cannot make the race tonight, I've got important plans on and I probably wont make it home in time. I'm really sorry and I wouldn't want to miss a race for anything not counting the Silverstone one which will be interesting.

Maybe next week is a better time for everybody?
No. Everybody was keen this morning for a race this weekend that wasn't scheduled to happen so it's been moved to tonight. Now everyone is pulling out after it's been set in stone. It is still going ahead as planned, but if there aren't six people by 20:15 GMT+10, I'm not wasting another Saturday night, for which I had plans for until I moved the race to tonight after everyone's enthusiasm, and I dare say everyone else would be with me on that one.

Plus, I can't just cancel when there are people who have confirmed they'll be racing who still need to wake up in the small hours of their own country. And I can't speak for them but I'd be peeved if I woke up early only to find out the race had been canceled without trying.

Sorry mate I actually wasn't aware we weren't planning to race tonight when I posted this morning... Which may have kickstarted the enthusiasm... But then spoke to my dad for Father's Day plans and ended up having dinner tonight so I'm really sorry mate, I wouldn't have said anything about racing if I knew both situations...

There wasn't really any plans for racing in the foreseeable future until this mornings sudden enthusiasm. As is, there are plenty of discussions going on behind closed doors about certain things in this series. In short, I'm disillusioned, unmotivated, and frustrated with my position in the series, so there is every chance I step back and let someone else run it until I feel like returning to the role as Series Organiser.

I don't have any hard feelings about you igniting enthusiasm about racing tonight as it sparked motivation for me to run this again and that lasted until tonight's failure. I don't have a problem with people pulling out of races as long as I get a reason, like yourself and other have supplied, and I get it before the day of the race, which can't always happen, but shouldn't be happening as often as it is now.

I'm not sure if I'll make next race due to the Lexus since I really don't like driving it which is making me loose interest. I'll confirm later if I will or won't but currently I'm really begginning to hate the car.

Infact if I cannot get this car going to a decent standard by tomorrow then it's likely that I'll pull out sorry, I know I sound like a complete wuss but I've been having the worst few weeks so my apologies

Just a heads up for all teams to be prepared for tonights race. It will be held within the beautiful city of Rome! Lobby will open 20:00 GMT +10 (I will have a practice lobby open beforehand so feel free to come early.) I will have the drivers briefing up later tonight. :)

If you have any questions or can't make it please message @NW48 or myself. See you there!

Didn't want to say anything too soon! But no last minute dinners or anything so I should be there tonight! :D.

P.s. Have a free practice room open in the community club :) Closed

Despite not being to satisfied with the car I should be making it tonight. Will it be the same amount of laps stated last week or so?

ATCC Driver's Briefing | Round 4 | Circuito di Roma

Estimated Time Schedule
20:00 GMT+10 ~ Room Opens
20:20 GMT+10 ~ Qualifying Starts (10mins)
20:30 GMT+10 ~ Race 1 Starts (17 Laps // 1 Mandatory Pitstop)
20:55 GMT+10 ~ Race 1 Concludes
21:05 GMT+10 ~ Race 2 Starts (20 Laps // 1 Mandatory Pitstop)
21:45 GMT+10 ~ Race 2 Concludes

Qualifying
Qualifying will take place within the room in a 10 minute session. This will set the grid for Race 1. The grid for Race 2 will be a Reverse Group Grid, determined by Race 1 Results.

Mass Disconnection
In case of a Mass DC, the race will be red flagged allowing those that disconnected a chance to rejoin the race at the lap the race was red flagged (-1 lap).

Recovery Time
In case of any disconnect, an allotted 10 minutes of recovery time will start to help give those who disconnected a chance to rejoin before the room starts. After this time ends, the race will start/re-start no matter what.

Contact
As stated in the OP, contact of cars is allowed, as long as it is kept to a minimum and doesn't hinder the progress of the opposing car/s. the three quarter car rule will be in place.

Pitlane Entry/Exit Lines
This will be monitored in both races. Failure to abide by these lines will see a Dangerous Driving penalty go your way.

Lets hope for a great round of racing today! This will be my first round of being a step-in organiser so if I miss something remind me . I will have a practice room open at 7pm. I will see you all at the starting line:cheers:.

Great stuff, mate! :)👍

Looking forward to it! Thanks @Jordiehamz :).
If I remember correctly I didn't do too badly here last season, was an earlier round... Just fine tuning some things to my liking, and I hope I have some decent pace lol. Not sure how many other Group A's there'll be but.

I may be there, but I'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks to @Jordiehamz and @Aaroh the Lexus is feeling better then before and hopefully will be more competitive but Mikey's rocket pace will be hard to catch. In practice I managed to pull off a fluke 1:09.692 which I can guarantee I won't be seeing that again! Thanks again Jordie and Aaroh!
