Psn down no Sunday BMW race for our group
Guys,
Unfortunately I still have a fair bit on my plate and will not be able to complete the rest of the season as much as I love racing with you all.
I will be off line for the next couple of Months at most unless my situation changes,so I wish you all the best and look forward to racing with you all in the near future.
Is any interested in running the rest of the season as I will give you the password for our ATL Championship forum ?

Firstly its a real shame your not able to finish the season, hope to see you out again soon. Was a pleasure to race with you. Secondly congratulations on a really well thought out championship. Personally the car, the regs and of course track selection was spot on. Would love to pay it the justice it deserves with a full grid every week. Having said that though we have a real good group of guys racing and I am enjoying it immensely.
Lastly, sorry I had to quit tonight boys. After two drive throughs (probably my fault!) one of the kids who are both sick at the moment woke up and the girlfriend was in the shower so I had to dnf.
Girlfriends still naked so im off lads!

No dramas vend hope all is well. Great championship settings and great car enjoying it a lot. I think only improvement would be light damage . Will stop the unlucky lag slams from being a race killer. But I'm just happy to race. Think I will throw away the 2 stopper greasy is right 3 is the quickest rm rh rs rs. Cheers

OK guys, sorry i had to bail last night . . . broke my bloody wheel again! pulled it apart to find a broken wire . . . fixed that . . . but now I can only "upshift" on the paddles and not "downshift" and the buttons on the LHS of the wheel aren't working . . . I can use the "gearstick" but need to practise/get used to that I guess . . . i've got the wheel in a hundred pieces at the moment . . . hopefully i'll find that there's a broken wire further down in the bowels of the unit . . . bloody hell!! Ah well . . . hopefully you guys had a good race last night bloody crap that I missed it . . . ah well . . . be on during the week hopefully!

I got two also. The first one was a surprise, don't know why it happened. The second one was my fault. I was looking at the laps left and realised I needed to use my two sets of RS then made a last second decision to pit. It was too late and I clipped the cone. Still why should you get a drive through for that? So stupid. If PD wants us to enter slower then they should give us a speed penalty like they do for cutting a corner, not a drive through, too harsh.
I would usually say I prefer heavy damage but with the lag its often not fair. I think until PD gets better netcode (haha) damage at light is a better option.
My race started out great. I qualified on RH and my plan was to try to keep greasy in sight. But he.. IDK what he did off the line and I lead the first few laps. Then Greasy got up to speed and started to reel me in. Though I managed to stabilize the gap and actually set the fastest lap at that stage on the RH which was a great surprise. But just after that I fell of the road and let greasy get the lead I expected him to have. My plan then was to jump on RMs and ditch the RH early, get the undercut on greasy and hopefully pick up the lead again with all my fastest tyres still to come. But the drive through smacked down my great plan. Then I just wanted to push knowing I could still make good time back as greasy lost a set of RMs to qualifying so not all was lost. I used two RMs then went to RS and that is when I got my second drive through.
I was quick on the first set of softs setting my best lap even though I passed a car in a turn losing some time. On my second set of RS I came out of the pits just in front of greasy and I wanted to beat my best lap because there was a lot of time left to shave off. But I was paranoid of greasy behind, I kept thinking I'd just be helping him set a super lap in my draft haha. I was distracted by it and kept running off the road totally wasting those tyres. All good fun.

Hope to see ven back on track soon it's a great car and championship for my first online race series and that was my worst effort so far I could hear greasy say good everybody is in then cars take off and I still had black screen and to finish me off penalty jump start and just a horrid race but no penaltys or drive throughs but I had lag as I could see cars coming from a distance and then all the sudden they where behind me at pace never had this drama before hope all is back to normal next week we all had a problem with the psn and getting the race started cheers Phil.b

I got a good start and had some good pace early. I had planned on a practice session Sunday night for tyre wear, pit entry practice and what not but the ddos attack put an end to that. This left me to race and stratagise at the same, something my pea brain is not up to.

So we are at Bathurst next? Can't wait, might actually do some practice for this one. As luck would have it though, I seem to have caught the flu that two members of my office have, started getting it yesterday
