Audi VGT inbound

It is said that the wheels are inspired by the iconic IMSA spec Audi 90.

Hopefully, it'll have the livery to go with it. If not, then someone will make it themselves.

My only demand with this is that it has an incar view.

That's what I'm hoping for, too. I recently got a couple of Vision GTs as gifts (Aston, Viviz) and I couldn't understand why they didn't have a cockpit view. Then I did a quick search on google and realized they were created without one (never played gt6 so I didn't know that). Such a shame.

Possible. Maybe a GTE-inspired machine, like the M8 developed for the GTE/GTLM classes. That being said, I'm still dreaming for something heavily inspired by the IMSA 90 (Wheels, wing and antenna keep me hopeful) and possibly powered by an inline-5 (good for 600 horses on the recent TT Clubsport Concept).

It does make sense. Audi announced this prior to VGT reveal. It has to be this. And the name "Audi e-tron Gran Turismo" does ring a bell even more. Might be either styled as DTM or GTE race car in VGT guise for GTS addition.

The name is simply "Audi e-tron GT" (GT = Grand Tourer, or Gran Turismo in italian)

The McLaren VGT is an example of a nice looking car with ugly hubcap style wheels:

Never use this car in the game since I bought it. If only PD let us change wheels for all VGT cars. 👍

Just a thought about the “Virtual or Real” tag line. Maybe they’re teasing their next GT3/GTE car here? The body style is in line with the M8 Concept GTE, so maybe they’re teasing an entry into GTE or the successor to the R8 LMS?

I remember that Audi announced they were replacing the R8 ?and TT? with a sports GT car around 2020, so I thought this might have been a racing concept of that. Also E-tron might just mean it’s a hybrid like the R18, but I’m not 100% on that either.

Either way, just hope there’s a Gr.3 version.
