Nah Kaz is never consistent in what day the teaser comes, it just is at some point over the weekend. It could even come later today still if he posts it at his usual time in the day, considering he is in Pebble Beach.
 
Considering we didn't get an update earlier this month, I think this next content update could be a bit different in some way. Maybe it'll have more content than usual? I feel like it's almost anyone's guess at this point.

Either it will be Thursday next week or the week after for the update
 
PD havent said a thing about the update by now. The car silhouette pic should already have been online, but nothing. Im starting to think that in august 25h we will only get the dior collab items thing.

Same with the Gr.3 Supra and Audi VGTs. This could be different with just the one car and bug fixes. I doubt that, but with PD, we’ll know until we see what we get.

There’s speculation if the Dior livery Mangusta will be the only content we get for August. It’s not the first time we got only one car for an update. I brought up the Gr.4 Supra as an example for that “update”. It’s possible we may only get the one car for the August update. The one car being the Dior De Tomaso Mangusta.

We’ll find out, once we see the silhouette that is usually posted by Kazunori Yamauchi.

FWIW, the Gr.4 supra was not a part of that month's main update, that was later in the month and had Spa and a bunch of cars. The Gr.3 Supra alongside Dragon Trail Gardens was the only content for another update though.

Interesting point, actually. PD may want to give a focus to that Dior collab (can be a part of the agreement on the collab) and to achieve that, Dior car can be the only content in the update.

Right. Having a look back at a couple more updates, the GR86 and GR Yaris were stand-alone cars as well.

The GR Supra N24 wasn't in 1.50 silhouettes since it was a limited distribution car:


(The cars featured were the 2016 86, RUF CTR3, Jaguar VGT, E46 M3, and the RE Amemiya RX-7. The Lewis Hamilton AMG VGT wasn't there either.)

So it is possible that the Dior car might not be in the silhouette either.

Insane how much different the replies to that tweet are compared to the replies of the GT7 silhouettes. The one you posted has replies full of people thanking him etc. and speculating, whereas with GT7 the top replies are always paragraphs about demands or shortcomings of the game.

It is sad to see how much the poor launch and state of GT7 has harmed the communities trust in the franchise (understandably, don't get me wrong, I'm just pointing out the contrast).

Yes, the problem is, polyphony doesn’t communicate. They do their own thing although they knows, the playerbase is upset by GT7.
 
Time to grind for a few GTOs. I was silently hoping for that. One of the best updates so far. :) Oh… and the Honda is fine too. ;)
