Yeah, magic mate, as soon as you have a thought, I can feel it and answer you before you ask the question, its a serious skill, let anyone else you race with know ay? try and get a decent croud going each week

Sweet. I'd like to sign up for Rota's Epic Enduro challenges! 👍

Nice one jas, same goes for you mate, anyone is welcome so if you know any blokes that don't join our usual crowd, feel free to let them know :)

Also we are open for ideas for a production car that is between 450 and 550pp for the first race. All ideas welcome, but note that when we jump in race spec cars the pp will be above this, around the 550 to 700pp, so while we are in a production car with street tyres on, we want a fun car that will provide some nice clean and close racing.

Checking your homework Rota, and there appears to be a few anomolies. I think a few lunchtimes in detention while you rewrite your essay are called for.:sly:

Count me in Rota. Whether you want to list me as full time or fill in driver i'll leave up to you, as you're aware of my shift work issues. I can give you a tentative appearence schedule IF these are the dates (and I haven't cocked up my roster projection :dopey:)
March 4 - Working
April 1 - Working
May 6 - Good
June 3 - Good
July 1 - Good
August 5 - Good
September 2 - Good
October 7 - Good
November 4 - Good
December 2 - Good

(Shift Work = More Money & No Social Life :grumpy:)

:dunce:Rota got me to proof read it too so I guess we'll be in detention together :dunce:

Hi guys, yeah I'd like to make races, I like the idea and what you're doing.

But I'm usually working Sunday nights. The roster can change about, so sometimes I might be able to make it.

Also side note, but in the thread title the nz should really be in capitals = NZ.

Keep our cousins across the ditch happy.

Sorry boys been away soaking up the sun on the tinnie for a few days so didnt reply.

Yes I need after school detentions and special classes while all the other kids have normal english class.... haha Thanks cactass and Mic.

Cactass i'll put you on the list for sure as a solid driver, but if for some reason these races fill up to the brim, I'll ask you if you can make it early and give the other driver the spot if you can't.

Thanks everyone, will put others in list now too

Also guys still need suggestions for cars for first race, if there is none, me and who ever is online this week will decide while mucking around and with 8 beers in my belly. (Will equal very bad car choice..)

Annnddd 2 people in the list havent voted! haha Mic i put you in the list, if you can't make it, no worries.

No worries Rota.

With the dates clashing with my roster for the first 2 races, daylight savings will have ended by May so the early start time shouldn't be an issue.

If the race dates change from the ones i've posted, just let me know (in here or on PSN) and I can let you know well in advance of the date if I can't make it.

Also, I haven't voted on the track choice as I can't make the first one, and don't think its fair I should send you all to your doom and not be there myself.:)

Nice to see the title correction - although I do hate sounding like a grammar Nazi.

I haven't voted on a track, as I'm in the same boat with Cactass ie: not likely to make the race so my vote should be dropped.

As far as my attendance it'll be a situation where I might be able to make a race here or there and will give you short notice of that. Where I can I'll be keen to race.

Also Cactass I just noticed your avatar = sweet.

This will start a lot of guys doing close up squinting at the screen.

i would love to join this but 8pm is too early as i just put my son to sleep about that time every evening :(

Ok guys I jumped on today to do a very quick look around for a car for the first race, and I am thinking the Z4 M Coupe '08, great little car, should provide some close racing and is around the right pp we are looking for (fully tuned is between 520 and 550 pp, not sure exactly as mine is not fully run in yet)

Looking for some feedback on this car choice, seeing if your keen on the Z4 or not. Cheers. And for those who pull out a "Na the Z4 is ****..." don't bother unless you have a decent suggestion for a different car. :D thanks!

Rota, can i offer a suggestion...

we at OzCoMoBros are looking onto an Eduro season and are currently looking at production cars (no race/rally/LM/RM/concept) all mods (if you like)
but room settings will be 305BHP, 1100kg min.

this makes really good close racing with many different vehicles.
here is a (poor)video clip from 3 of us playing last night at the Nurburgring 24hr track.

we raced this 4 times and all managed to finish within 10 seconds from 1st to 3rd (not bad when you have aspin or an off lol)

cars are around the 500PP mark.

the race you saw above was on Racing Soft

PS, we have a forum if anyone fancy joining in some weekly races (tuesday and sundays) as we are looking for clean racers and/or newbies

velly mate, thanks for the suggestion and thats some nice, close racing there. I just feel that everyone in the same car with the same pp is always going to produce closer racing than setting power and weight regs, because as we all know there are other factors like torque that regs like that do not take into consideration and thus having the problem of some drivers exploiting this regulation gap.

Thanks for the ideas though mate and hopefully you can join sometimes. cheers

Thanks Mic. Don't want to damage anyones eyesight so I thought I had better change it.

Is this avatar any better?

My god, I think I know that girl, please provide a large, high resolution image so i can confirm.

OK EVERYONE.... It is not going to be the Z4 for the first race.

We have decided it will be the Honda S2000 '06 bought from the premium dealership.
Whack every part you can on the car and get the most pp out of it, install all Aero aswell. I am currently running mine in with my B Spec driver so once that is done I will let you know the max pp you can get out of it

THE MAX PP YOU CAN GET OUT OF THE S2000 is 533pp
