Since its Aus/NZ races, ever considered one make races with Holden Commodore SS (or Monaro), or even the Ford XR8?

I think we might see an XR8 race in the near future so if any of you guys haven't got one keep your eyes peeled in the UCD. I'd be keen for a Commodore race too.

The common theme within this series is that if an idea is popular with the regular competitors , it has a good chance of happening. 👍

I can't commit to any races after that date as my work roster doesn't stretch that far, but Sundays I usually work early mornings, so it should be all good.

Ok guys I know we haven't even done the first race but I am keen to plan the second race as it needs a bit more attention, due to the fact we are trying to use a standard car that is priced over a million, therefore not letting us send them between each other. It is the Ford XR8 supercar, this will be the on the 1st of April, I am going to use another poll to see if everyone has one or not, please let me know if you can firstly make the race then secondly have the car. If we cannot get everyone the car in time, we will be holding off the XR8 til a later date when everyone has the car.

Also, yes im pulling down the track poll soon because I think its fair to close it a week before the race so everyone can test on the correct track

I might have missed something that explains what's behind that rule, (I can miss the point at times ) worried about guys sharing cars and duping? If so please let me know.

It's just that such a rule will be cutting out the bulk of cars available in the game.

I can't make the April 1st date due to work, but if it helps I can put my XR8 in my share list for someone else to borrow and use on the night.

I'm at work at the moment, so I can't check till I get home, but I think I may have 2 cars that I can set to shared for people to use, if this is of any benefit?

hey cactass mate, thanks for the heads up, i did not even think that we could use others cars that have been set to online to help out other drivers, i think i have 2 XR8's, I know spin has a few. we should be able to help everyone out who is missing one.

You are indeed correct MrT. GT5 brings up a warning message that you are using a borrowed car and will not allow you to join an online race.

Hey everyone, I will be running a few prac rooms on Thursday and Maybe friday night. However I will be away for the weekend, but will be home for the race for sure. So Im sure some of the other drivers in the list will have rooms opentesting their S2000's, If anyone is, be sure to pop a quick message here to let people know.

im running a prac room right now if anyone is keen, I am aware this car and track combo are NOT a match made in heaven, there will be much more testing as we have a month after sunday til the next race. So just have fun with this race and try not crack the ****s early, its a long race, I will also run a points tally and create a table for you all to view. I haven't got it sorted yet, but I will write down final positions and there will be extra points awarded for fastest lap, and best crash haha so keep up the racing.

(p.s, the extra points for biggest crash will not be big.. so please dont just put your foot down into a corner if your coming last to get some points haha)
